Software Support for Projects Management

This project describes design and implementation of project management information system support, mainly for IT organizations. It includes informations about basic facts in project management and mainly about Rational Unified Process, the modern metodology which is well usefull in today changeable environment. System is implemented in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 with support of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and consists of ASP.NET presentation and of DLL library written in C# language. Information system provides support for project planing and management. System work in standard internet browsers and is very usefull for geografically devided teams.
Web Site Optimisation

This BSc Project was performed during a study stay at the Coventry University, UK. The goal of this project is to enhance the accessibility and usability of an existing company presentation located at http://www.hcc.cz, boost the site's traffic and so increase the company's revenues. The project follows these steps to accomplish this: a ) A partial refactoring of the back-end (PHP scripts). b ) Transformation of the website contents according to the recommendations of the World Wide Web consortium (W3C) and in particular to those of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). c ) Application of the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques and analysis of their impact. In this step, the project touches upon the Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
Advanced Oracle Database Monitoring Tool

This master's thesis describes possibilities of Oracle Database 10g and 11g monitoring. It let the reader know about practical tools for monitoring and describes the database's internal catalogs preserving statistics and the information about running database instances within history. Next, it describes design of an Oracle database monitoring tool, describtion of its implementation and at the end its evaluation and comparison with other similar applications.
Comparison of Technologies for Object-Relational Mapping

Diploma thesis deals with the contemporary object-relational mapping (ORM) technologies for Java. It briefly describes also competing technologies for persisting objects in files, object and object-relational databases. However main part of the thesis is the persistence of objects in relational databases using ORM frameworks. The work begins with studying general methods and issues, that these frameworks have to solve. Next, it chooses and deeply describes some ORM frameworks. They are later demonstrated on the demo application. In the following part there is a description of the problems I have been facing during the implementation of the persistence using these frameworks. Finally, there is an evaluation and a comparison of these frameworks.
Minimalistic Object-Oriented Ray Tracer

This thesis brings an overview about scene rendering using the ray tracing method. It describes aspects used when creating the application which uses this method such as intersection computation, lighting and shading models etc. It also describes the basic algorithm used for rendering one frame. Each class of the object oriented design is described. There is also detail explanation what is the purpose of the each class in the model and what are the most important used methods. The work also contains demonstration application showing the usage of model in practice.
Tool for Software Systems Design

The Tool for software systems design is an application for visualization of application development. It's main goal is to achieve connection between developer and customer. It should be used to understand customer's needs, prepare work ow of project and behaviour of each class and method using objected oriented Petri nets. In this work we will look on other programs, that focus on similiar topic, we then pick some diagrams and describe how they were implemented. At the end we will disguss possible extension for this tool.

This bachelor's thesis contains description fo analyze, design and futher implemantation of an information system. Information system is designed for evidence and publish scores of matches, group table, informations about teams, players and coaches, statistics of teams and players. Within the score system stores more detailed information about the game like number of viewers, authors of goals, number of cards, substitutions and times of theese actions. It stores informations about stadiums, where are the matches played. Part of the system is item of artificail intelligence, which links referees to the matches that should by played

Automated UML Class Diagrams Generation

This master's thesis describes the analysis, design and implementation of an application for automatic generation of UML class diagram. Application is designed as a web service, which provides remote access, especially permanent actuality of generated class diagram. Input of the service is a compiled application written for C# .NET or Java platform. The reader is acquainted with basics of reverse engineering of mentioned platforms and with structure of UML class diagram. Then are these knowledge applied in design and implementation of the service. The main goal is to facilitate and accelerate the activities of software development team members.

Capability to satisfy customers´ expectations became one of the key success factors. In many cases is this capability of delivering additional value the only significant benefit which differ you from competition. Customers rely on impressions and image of the company more and more. This work does not deal with complex customer relationship management, but is aimed at improving the position of financial advisors/consultants in this area. The purpose of application, designed in this work, is to improve effectiveness and save time in every day’s life which is wasted for unnecessary searching and browsing records. This goal is connected with capability of application to deliver methods which make possible easy and effective client portfolio management.
