System for Plastics Packaging Waste Production Analysis
Bejdák, Jan ; Kropáč, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlas, Martin (advisor)
One of the very current topics today is the implementation of the principles of sustainable development and the circular economy. The Czech Republic has adopted legislative changes in this area and has committed itself to meeting the set targets for the utilization of municipal waste. This work deals with the development of a software tool for monitoring the production and structure of packaging waste in households. The principle of the tool lies in a database and a web application for user access to stored data. The main part of the work is a draft of the assignment for programming works on the tool. The draft consists in determining the logical context of the data used to describe the packages in the database, in specifying the functions of the web application and in creating a template for the user interface. The assignment was created iteratively based on testing of available tools. The current state of implementation of the draft is described.
Implementation of Selected Agile Methodology of Software Development Project Management
Křížová, Sabina ; Smolíková, Lenka (referee) ; Doskočil, Radek (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the introduction of a selected agile methodology in project management, more specifically the development of software for weapons simulators. The aim of this work is the introduction of selected agile methodology in the management of the software development project and its subsequent design on a fictitious project of Saab Czech, s.r.o. The theoretical part is devoted to describing the methods used and comparing them. Separate methods will be described in more detail. The next part will be an analysis of the current state of society using the traditional approach. The starting point for the design of the project itself is an analysis of the current state of development of software and industry development. The aim of the solution is to develop a project proposal that will have a selected agile management in place and thus will be successfully achieve the stated objectives of the Bachalor thesis.
Illustrative Example of Model-Based Design for Complex Aircraft Systems
Sopoušek, Radek ; Kovář, Jiří (referee) ; Janák, Luděk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is on the development of aviation systems, in particular their software, using model-based design (MBD) methods while maintaining recommended practices developed by the aviation industry and certification authorities (in particular RTCA DO-178C/331). The general MBD deployment options given by current aviation regulators and standards are described in the theoretical part of the work. Furthermore, this work describes what the process of developing software for a sub-segment of an aircraft system (altitude hold mode of autopilot software) could look like using the model-based design method. The overlap to the system development level (SAE ARP 4754A) is also partially addressed. The work includes an illustrative example in which system requirements were specified, software development through "Design model" and ensuring traceability between system requirements and model design.
Calculation program for heat exchanger design
Švec, Dalibor ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on creating a calculation software for designing heat exchanger. The software will not calculate one single heat exchanger but will recommend all heat exchangers which meet the requirements. Then, user can decide which heat exchanger is best suited for the specific application and make a comprehensive calculation. Part of the diploma thesis is to verify correctness of the software and make a parametric studies. Parametric studies will be focused on baffle cut, baffle spacing, tube pitch, and tube thickness and its effect on heat transfer and pressure drop.

Software for inverse heat transfer problems
Application of advanced models of electromigration by means of computer software
Malý, Michal ; Dubský, Pavel (advisor) ; Petr, Jan (referee) ; Thormann, Wolfgang (referee)
Motion of ions under the influence of electric field has been a subject of scientific interest for many decades. Capillary electrophoresis in particular benefited greatly from this research and mathematical models of electromigration applicable to capillary electrophoresis have been developed. As the sophistication of the models grew, so did the computational demands to evaluate them. In order to fully exploit the possibilities of advanced mathematical models a computer implementation capable of solving non-trivial problems at sufficient speed is necessary. This dissertation thesis explores applications of computer implementations of mathematical models re- lated to electromigration in two different areas. The main focus of this thesis is on the topic of linear theory of electromigration. We discuss the extension of the linear theory of electromigration beyond of just acid-base equilibria and computer implementation of this extented theory which is specialized to include complex-forming equilibria in order to be able to deal with affinity capillary electrophoresis prob- lems. Some technical aspects of the computer implementation are also discussed. This is followed upon by investigating certain selected affinity capillary electrophoresis systems. The purpose of this investi- gation is to re-derive...
