Education of primary school teachers at the faculties of education in the Czech Republic

The quality of education of teachers has recently started to be in the focus of educational theory, research and of education policy in all developed countries, including the Czech Republic. We face problems such as unqualified teachers, the lack of interest of young people in teaching, the departure of teachers from schools, the quality of education of teacher, with regard to the needs of modern society and the labor market. Furthermore, the lack of a standard for the teaching profession together with the high autonomy of universities leads to a situation in which individual faculties of primary education design education programs completely independently and we have little information, If they are equipping graduates with comparable knowledge and skills, building similar attitudes and establishing teacher education of similar priority. The theoretical part is devoted to the development of teacher education of primary schools in the Czech Republic after 1989, the legislative and conceptual anchoring of university teacher training. Influence of 21st Century Technological Inventions on the Deprofessionalization of Journalism

The objective of this thesis is to explain terms professionalization and deprofessionalization and their understanding in the context of journalism and technological advancements of the 21st century. The first section of the thesis shows theoretical ideas connected to the influence of new technology on journalists and includes definitions of basic terms, which are used in the thesis. The theoretical section also includes the basics from the history of journalism, which enable us to understand the context of this issue. The research section offers the analysis of how amateur footage is used by two TV stations, Česká televize and Prima television. By using a quantitative content analysis and a standardized survey, the thesis analyses individual types and sources of amateur footage, which are used in both TV stations. The methodological section is there to help us understand the realization of the research. The section includes a part where research questions are asked and the hypothesis is formulated. The conclusion then answers these questions and summarizes the knowledge gained from the research.
Freetime Activity to E-sport: Players Stands Agains Professionalisation of CS:GO

This work focuses on the professionalisation of e-sport, where we watch the transition of playing video games to a professional competitive level. The work is specified in the Counter- Strike video game environment: Global Offensive, which is one of the most eminent e-sport disciplines in terms of number of players and time played by both amateur and professional players. In this work, e-sport is grasped in terms of the professionalization of free-time video game play, where professionalisation means an increase in the number of actors and their mutual influence forming the social network. The subject of the research is the attitude of players to transform the Counter-Strike Global Offensive, where the possibilities of the reactions that the players will choose for this transformation are grounded in A. Hirschman's Exit, Voice and Loyalty theory, which is applied to the Counter-Strike Global Offensive . The research data for this work is analyzed by semi-structured interviews with professional CS players: GO. The starting point of the work is the wider context of the attitudes of professional players and the choice of their strategy in response to the professionalisation of CS: GO.
Music online journalism: iReport and Musicserver websites and application of theoretical concepts of journalism

The diploma thesis describes the application of theoretical concepts of journalism into the environemnt of two most popular music websites Musicserver and iREPORT. In the theoretical basis for the topic are featured the basic characteristics of online journalism and the problematic nature of the term "ideal critic". Furthermore, there are at first theoretically established and afterwards analyzed the concepts of agenda-setting, gatekeeping, objectivity and bias, participative journalism, user generatec content, professionalism, hypertextuality and intertextuality, the usage of social networks, tabloidization and the analysis will also touch upon the issue of name transformation to fit the Czech language. There is also a semiotic and visual analysis of chosen samples performed. On the basis of concepts, the paper intends to explain the functioning of the websites, the aspects that are influencing their content, the factors that have an effect on the selection of the content, the means of working with the audience, the problems in terms of objectivity in the art criticism, the requirements laid upon the editorial staff members and the level of influence upon the readers. Expert volunteering from the viewpoint the non-profit sector

The diploma thesis deals with the intersectoral cooperation between the non- governmental organizations (NGO) and the expert volunteers from the market sector. In the theoretical part, the work is devoted to individual sectors of the economy with an emphasis on the market sector and the civil sector, the causes of intersectoral cooperation, the intersectoral cooperation models and the phenomena that the intersectoral cooperation can potentially bring about. The aim is to find out how this cooperation is perceived by NGO staff through the theoretical framework of professionalisation and commercialization of civil society organizations. Using a qualitatively oriented research, the thesis examines the intersectoral cooperation of a participants in the Vodafone Foundation Year Differently project.
Teachers' Education of Preprimary, Primary and Secondary School - History, Present, Perspectives

The thesis is a theorethical study with the main theme of teachers' education. It is divided into five chapters. The first chapter describes world trends in the area of teachers' education which are being adopted in the Czech Republic. Next three chapters are focused on the education of each teachers' group - preprimary, primary, secondary school. Each of these chapters includes the historic context of teachers' education and the content of their education. Today's conception of school education is considered as the key faktor which should be reflected in present teachers' education. The fifth chapter contains the perspectives of future development of teachers' education.
Genre Analysis of the Czech YouTube Scene

The thesis is focused on the subject of genres in the context of new media, specializing on the biggest Internet online video sharing platform, YouTube. Considering the interactivity of YouTube as a kind of social media site and making contact between the creator and his audience, the genre composition of YouTube channels directly reflects the preferences of the specific audience. The main objective of this thesis is to make an analysis of genres on a sample of five selected professional Czech YouTube channels. The sample is based on current order of channels according to the number of subscribers (namely ViralBrothers, MenT, GEJMR, Jirka Král and Hoggy). After the introduction of how professional YouTube channels operate follows the theoretical part of the thesis defining the basic ideas, which are important to set the methodological framework of the analysis. The analytical part consists of presenting the results of the genre analysis, categorizing genres into a system and defining genres based on their characteristics.
