Diplomová práce má povahu teoretické studie a je rozdělena do pěti kapito. V první kapitole jsou uvedeny trendy v oblasti učitelského vzdělávání, které se v současnosti uplatňují ve světě a jsou prosazovány i v České republice. Následující tři kapitoly se zabývají vzděláváním učitelů jednotlivých stupňů škol - preprimární, primární a sekundární školy. U každé skupiny učitelů je uveden historický kontext jejich vzdělávání na našem území až po současnost. Jako východisko pro současné vzdělávání učitelů je popsáno dnešní pojetí školy. Jednotlivé kapitoly se věnují možnostem vzdělávání daných skupin učitelů a jsou charakterizovány i některé složky studia. V páté kapitole jsou rozbrány perspektivy pro budoucí vývoj vzdělávání učitelů. The thesis is a theorethical study with the main theme of teachers' education. It is divided into five chapters. The first chapter describes world trends in the area of teachers' education which are being adopted in the Czech Republic. Next three chapters are focused on the education of each teachers' group - preprimary, primary, secondary school. Each of these chapters includes the historic context of teachers' education and the content of their education. Today's conception of school education is considered as the key faktor which should be reflected in present teachers' education. The fifth chapter contains the perspectives of future development of teachers' education.
