This diploma thesis is focused on financial productivity using the method of benchmarking. For this thesis the company NC Line a.s. has been chosen. By the method of benchmarking this company has been compared to other selected competitors from the national range of companies as well as from the international range of companies. The result of this analysis are strengths and weaknesses and the particular measures are enabled in order to improve the financial productivity of this company.

This work focuses on the evaluation of financial and business performance of STARTECH spol. s.r.o. through the benchmarking method. The first part of the thesis defines the theoretical background related to the topic. The second part of the work contains a situational analysis, which includes a presentation of the analyzed company and competing partners who were selected for benchmarking and benchmarking itself. The last part of the work are general summaries and recommendations. The aim of the analysis is to identify the weknesses of STARTECH spol. s.r.o. and formulate suggestions for improvement.

The Performance Evaluation of the Company using Balanced Scorecard

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the performance of the company Westrock Packaging Systems Svitavy, s. r. o. using the Balanced Scorecard method. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the theoretical basis of the literature, which forms the basis for other parts. In the analytical part, the researched company is introduced and a strategic and financial analysis is prepared. Based on the obtained outputs from the performed analyzes, a proposal for the implementation of the BSC model is elaborated in the last part of the diploma thesis, which should lead to an increase in the company's performance.

Mobile IPv6 handover analysis

This master’s thesis is focused on IP mobility support for mobile users and their devices in IPv6-based wireless networks. Then the Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) protocol was proposed for this purpose and that is also the main objective of the thesis. This consists of several basic sections and is organized as follows: The first one deals with the overview of the function of Mobile IP, which enables the mobility of nodes around the Internet, without a change of their original IP address. Moreover there are introduced the primary differences between MIPv6 and its previous version – i.e., MIPv4, proposed for IPv4-based environment. The second chapter of the master’s thesis thereafter describes detailed information about all the most important mechanisms and features of Mobile IPv6 and this way tries to explain principles of its functioning. Further the thesis analyses some of proposed MIPv6 extensions – i.e., Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 (HMIPv6), Mobile IPv6 Fast Handover (FMIPv6) a Fast Handover for HMIPv6 (F-HMIPv6) protocols, and mainly aim at signaling process during the handover of a mobile node. In the last main section of the master’s thesis an analytical method to evaluate the performance of IPv6-based mobility management protocols was proposed. Subsequently, this method is applied on the protocols which were mentioned above and are studied the effects of various network parameters on the performance of these protocols.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the measurement and evaluation of the financial performance of Siemens, s.r.o. in the years 2016-2020. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of financial analysis, its individual indicators as well as formulas for calculations. In the second, practical part, the financial analysis is performed on the basis of the assumptions and methods defined in the theoretical part. The third part offers suggestions for solving the identified problems that could improve the current financial situation.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the performance of the company BRA-VUR, a.s. using the START Model, based on the EFQM Excellence Model. The theoretical part of the thesis defines quality, performance, and company performance measurement methods. The content of the analytical section is to evaluate the current situation in the company using the START Model and selected financial analysis indicators. The results of this assessment are used in the final part of the work, which is to propose measures to improve the performance of the company and to shift forward on its way to excellence.

The master’s thesis focuses on the evaluation of the performance of the company CPI Moravia Books, s.r.o. using the Balanced Scorecard method. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part defines the goals and chosen metods. The second part of the thesis forms the theoretical basis, which forms the foundation for the third part of the thesis. The third part is the analytical part where the financial and strategic analysis and a brief description of the selected company are performed. The last fourth part of the thesis is a proposal to implement the BSC model into the company, which should lead to increase its performance.

Fast feature matching for simultaneous localization and mapping

Bakalářská práce se zabývá rychlým vyhledáváním lokálních obrazových vlastností v rozsáhlých databázích pro simultánní lokalizaci a mapování prostředí. Součástí práce je krátký přehled detektorů a deskriptorů invariantních vůči rotaci, translaci, změně měřítka a affinitě. Pro řadu aplikací z oblasti počítačového vidění (SLAM, object retrieval, wide–robust baseline stereo, tracking, . . . ) je odezva reálném čase naprosto nezbytná. Jako řešení sublineární časové náročnosti vyhledávání v databázích bylo navrženo použití vícenásobných náhodně generovaných KD–stromů. Dále je předkládán nový způsob dělení dat do vícenásobných KD–stromů. Navíc byl navržen nový, obecně použitelný vyhodnocovací software (podporovány jsou KD–stromy, BBD-stromy a k-means stromy.)

This master thesis deals with the financial and business performance ratings of the company Exvalos, spol. s r.o. in years 2010 - 2015. Main methods used, are benchmarking, comparison of analyzed company with its closest competitors and the use of methods of financial indicators. Suggested recommendations are based on the results of conducted analysis which will be used to enhance the financial performance of the company.

The practical part represents the case study in which is the performance evaluation of the company KALÁB - stavební firma, spol. s r.o. done by using financial analysis methods. Financial analysis is based on the balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow in years 2011-2015. The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the development of the company in these five years.
