Management of terminal nodes of data networks
Knol, Radek ; Nagy, Ľuboš (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor Thesis is to analyze different possibilities of administration of external nodes of data networks. On the basis of this thesis an application for the operating system Microsoft Windows has been created which is intended to enable and facilitate the administration and configuration of individual network components, such as computers, servers, network switches, hubs, IP phones, IP cameras and other devices. This application can work with groups of devices, it can sort them according to set point criteria, and it can apply different functions to the individual components or to the whole target group. This application provides all essential operations for the administration of the network and of the individual components in a well-arranged interface, including synchronization rules for data updates on personal computers. The availability of different functions and access to the individual groups of devices can be defined by means of user rights. Another part of this thesis is a proposal of a system for automatic updates of the operating systems MS Windows and other programs of the company Microsoft.

The .NET platform offers several frameworks, technologies and approaches for web applications development. A good survey of these technologies is necessary for selecting effective implementation technologies. The aim of the thesis was to create a conference information system as a web application on the .NET platform for the non-profit organization Zámecké návrší, p.o. including its deployment and operation in the production environment. Prior to the development, it was necessary to familiarize myself with the .NET platform and compare the frameworks for web development. The bachelor thesis presents the suitability of individual frameworks for different types of applications. Based on the .NET analysis, DotVVM framework was chosen to implement the conference information system. The development of application logic proceeded with the test-driven development method. Combining appropriate frameworks, technologies, and approaches has lead to effective development with the successful creation of a secure and fast web application.

Fundamental analysis of the selected stock
REISNER, Jiří
The aim of the thesis was to perform a fundamental analysis of Microsoft, compare the intrinsic value of the stock with the market price, and finally determine investment recommendations for potential investors. The first part was devoted to global fundamental analysis, where the impact of various macroeconomic factors on the stock was examined. The most important macroeconomic factor turned out to be the inflation rate, which is the reason for the Fed's current restrictive monetary policy. The second part of the paper consisted of sectoral fundamental analysis. Microsoft and its competitors' revenues are growing at an average annual rate of 9.72%. This rate, together with the high growth potential, suggests that the sector is still in a development phase. The last part of the paper was a fundamental analysis of the company itself. A total of 5 models were calculated to determine the intrinsic value of the selected company's stock. The intrinsic value of the shares came out higher than their market price as of January 1, 2023 in the amount of $239.22. The only model that valued the company's shares lower than their market price was the FCFF cash flow model. All 3 parts of the fundamental analysis performed recommend buying Microsoft stock. However, the global analysis suggests uncertain future macroeconomic developments. In the long term, this is not a problem for the company due to its strong position in key markets, but in the short term it may negatively affect the share price. For these reasons, the investment recommendation is to buy and hold the shares for the long term.

Michálek, Michal ; Mihalik, Martin (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to analyze the existing information system solutions and suggest improvements for a company that deals with rental and repair of vehicles. The company has requirements for the system to be mobile and to be able to work on both computers (laptop, desktop computer) and mobile devices (mobile, tablet). The main reason for implementing the new system is the high cost of modifying the existing system. The key features of the system should be the ability to fill out an electronic form that was able to sign on site with the client and thus create a protocol on the rental of the vehicle. Also the possibility to documentation the condition of the rented vehicle, even outside the branch. Vehicle condition registration and reporting is a matter of course.
