Bachelor thesis deals with the electronisation of public administration (e-government) in the Czech Republic and its practical use, particularly in micro region Hovoransko. This thesis aims to determine the level of implementation and use of e-government by citizens and legal entities in the micro region Hovoransko by evaluation. Evaluation is based on the analysis of the current state of implementation of Smart Administration, its positives and negatives. The facts are verified by a questionnaire survey focused on clients of local authorities of micro region Hovoransko and their attitude to the current level of e-government services.

Bachelor thesis The e-Government in the Slovakia at the beginning of the 21-th cen-tury is dealing with the history of the e-Government and progressive development of it in the Slovak republic. It also seems to be description of the actual state of things and the pre-planned activities for the next period. As well it is looking on the e-Government in the Estonia and in the Great Britain as the most advanced countries of this region and to detail it is angaged in the e-Government of the Czech republic. The practical part is focused on the testing of the e- Government functionality by the real online sending of author´s tax declaration, where he is describing all the steps, which he had to do.

Dissertation deals with the problem of information policy and its development. Information policy and e-Government is defined. The emphasis is put mainly on the history and development of information policy in The United States and Europe, represented by the European Union, Germany and France, from which the current EU policy draws. In conclusion, a comparison is made, to confront American and European attitude along with several cases about the conditions of information policy in the Czech Republic. The bachelor's thesis "Government communication towards citizens and other states in the social media from 2011 to 2013" is focused on the modern phenomenon of government communication in the social media with citizens and also with citizens of foreign countries. In the theoretical part is described the background of governmental and institutional communication and terms essential for the thesis, such as social media, e-government and e-diplomacy. Theoretical knowledge is transferred into practice in the second part of the thesis. Based on the quantitative research of communication of the Czech government in the social media (Facebook, Twitter), there is observed efficiency of such communication at national and international level.

The aim of this work is to study the theoretical definition of e-Government in the Czech Republic and its subsequent comparison with the actual functioning in practice. The purpose was not only to describe the theoretical concepts and approaches to e-Government, but to show the real problems that are associated with the development of e-Government, and which are not, in my opinion, described in any scientific literature. In the first part, the general definition and different views on eGovernment was described. Also its development in the Czech Republic was briefly mentioned, together with its current legislative and institutional background. The second part describes the actual individual elements of e-Government. The third part of the work was based on the knowledge that I gained during my work at the court and Ministry of Justice. It was motivated by an effort to describe the actual practice and the consequences of the introduction of e-Government. The aim was to describe how are the basic, legislatively modified, parts of eGovernment used in the judiciary, and what has the judiciary made, or is making, beyond the legal obligations, and also to describe interdependence of the various elements of e-Government. This diploma thesis called Information policy of Republic of Finland is describing finnish e-government in present time. The text talking about Finnish Regulatory Authority - FICORA. This authority is subordinated to Ministry of transport and communications and it's main mission is making available information, protecting them, but also secure data transmission. With data protection organization helping the National Security Authority or the NSA. The text also describes finnish information policy, it's beggining, the present and the future strategy. It reveals the structure and organization of the whole information system, points out the obstacles it had to Finnish government in implementing e-government deal and what recommendations were given to the State by the OECD. Furthermore, this work demonstrates the most important portals, strategic plans and projects of the Ministry of Finance that the project e-government shielded.
Information management of central state administration (comparative study)

The rigorous thesis is focused on information management of central state administration and on a way of analysing it. In the first part initial insight into the problem is provided and essential specifics which are related with the field of information management in public sector communication are described as well. Next the information audit as a useable tool for information management analysis is introduced. Susan Henczel's methodological approach of information audit process is described in more detail in order to apply this tool practically in the analytical part of the work. The second part of the master thesis is based on my own analysis of management of information activities and communication of two departments - the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic and the similar one in Sweden. The key part of this work is based on the practical information audit, which consists of three- phase research. Title of the thesis: Comparison of the strategies of the Czech Republic and Federal Republic of Germany in the development of public administration in the context of the Digital Agenda for Europe by 2020 Abstract: Bachelor's thesis reflects the differences between the strategies for the development of public administration in the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany in the Digital Agenda for Europe 2020. The strategy of the European Union - Europe 2020, which began in 2010 and aims primarily to economic growth and lower unemployment, consists of seven elementary pillars. One of them is the crucial Digital Agenda for Europe 2020. Thanks to these seven fundamental initiatives, the European Union and national authorities of member countries can combine their efforts in various areas, such as innovation and modernization of public administration.
