Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou informační politiky a jejím vývojem. Je definována informační politika a e-Government. Důraz je kladen především na historii a vývoj informační politiky ve Spojených státech amerických a v Evropě, v této práci zastoupené Evropskou unií a státy Německem a Francií, ze kterých současná informační politika EU čerpá nejvíce. V závěru práce je provedeno srovnání amerického a evropského přístupu a uvedeno několik případů vypovídajících o stavu informační politiky v České republice. Klíčová slova informační politika, e-government, veřejná správa, informační infrastruktura, legislativa, Evropa, USA Dissertation deals with the problem of information policy and its development. Information policy and e-Government is defined. The emphasis is put mainly on the history and development of information policy in The United States and Europe, represented by the European Union, Germany and France, from which the current EU policy draws. In conclusion, a comparison is made, to confront American and European attitude along with several cases about the conditions of information policy in the Czech Republic.
