Coexistence Of LTE And WLAN In The ISM Band
Mikláš, Michal
This paper deals with definition, description and measurement of coexistence scenarios, which can occur between LTE and IEEE 802.11g wireless communication systems in the ISM 2.4 GHz band. There are defined common RF frequency bands for both systems and coexistence scenarios which can arise between them. An appropriate measurement workplace and setup is proposed to measure the interaction between LTE and IEEE 802.11g. The rightness of the proposed measurement setup is verified by experimental laboratory measurements.
Coexistence Between Lte And Lora Systems In The 24 Ghz Ism Band
Potočňak, Martin
This work deals with the study of coexistence scenarios that can occur between wireless systems LTE and LoRa in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. For this purpose an appropriate measurement setup is proposed and realized. The proposed concept enables to provide automatic measurements of the considered coexistence scenarios. It is achieved by the connection of the measurement devices with a switch, a personal computer (PC) and software MATLAB. Functionality of the realized measurement setup is verified by experimental measurements.
Coexistence Between Dvb-T2 And Lte Systems In The 800 Mhz Band – A Measurement Methodology
Walach, Dominik
This article deals with the study of coexistence between DVB-T2 and LTE systems. Coexistence scenario between DVB-T2 and LTE systems in the 800 MHz UHF band is defined. Next, a laboratory workplace is realized, and a measurement methodology is proposed. Its functionality is verified by experimental measurements. The proposed concept also facilitates to test sensitivity of DVB-T2 receivers (set-top-boxes) against interfering LTE signals.
Coexistence of DVB-T2 and LTE in the 800 MHz band
Walach, Dominik ; Miloš, Jiří (referee) ; Polák, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the study and evaluation of coexistence scenarios which can occur between DVB-T2 and LTE systems in the UHF band 800 MHz Both DVB-T2 and LTE systems are briefly described, and their common frequency bands are defined. An appropriate laboratory workplace is proposed and realized for the measurement, analysis and evaluation of the DVB-T2 and LTE coexistence scenarios. These systems work in adjacent or even in the same frequency bands. Thereby these systems can coexist, and different coexistence scenarios can occur.
Ecological specializations of birds based on spatial co-existence patterns
Petrová, Kristýna ; Hořák, David (advisor) ; Weiser, Martin (referee)
Ecological specialization based on co-existence patterns is new methodology used for niche breadth measurement using co-existing community with occupancy data. It results in generalist-specialist continuum according to value of speciali- zation index. The aim of this thesis was testing index stability at spatial and tem- poral scale, compare this specialization index with other specialization indices and study changes in specialization with time changes in occupancy. Specialization was quantified using data of breeding birds atlases in the Czech Republic and Europe using two selected indices Theta and Simpson. Methodology seems to be sensitive to spatial scale. Instability appears at small scale for birds, stability and correlation between indices increase with gre- ater scale. Problems with using point counts corresponds to their unsuitability encompass birds' habitats, especially for water dependent birds. Correlations be- tween different time periods are stronger at greater spatial scale. Specialization based on co-existence patterns correlates with specialization according to experts' opinions. Results from comparing changes in specialization with changes in occu- pancy suggest, that most of species tend to leave more diverse sites with occupancy decline.
Factors associated with invasiveness in the genus Impatiens: interaction of species traits, competition and environment
Čuda, Jan ; Pyšek, Petr (advisor) ; Kollmann, Johannes (referee) ; Prach, Karel (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to identify factors that contribute to invasiveness of species in the genus Impatiens. This genus is horticulturally attractive and includes several species that are known to have naturalized outside their native ranges, while others did not escape, in spite of being frequently cultivated. When looking for traits associated with invasiveness, it is useful to focus on congeneric species. Their traits and dispersal modes are less influenced by phylogeny, than when comparing unrelated species or even complete floras. This helps to account for traits that favour invasive species over native ones and thus identify potential invaders more precisely. A superior invader performance is attributed to a competitive advantage over native species that can lead in extreme case to competitive exclusion of the latter. Invasive and native species com- pete only if their niches overlap and the strength of competition depends on niche similarity. Importantly, invasive species are considered to be able to maintain their high competitiveness over a wide range of environmental conditions, while native ones often have narrower environ- mental optima. Lastly, competitive outcome can vary over life stages and depends on the degree of species dominance, which is rarely taken into account. Spread and...
The coexistence of two academic educational programs within one institution
Buřičová, Barbora ; Mouralová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Kváča, Vladimír (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of the coexistence of two different school educational programs within one elementary school. In this very largely neglected topic, attention is paid primarily to the differences between the programs, pedagogical cooperation across the programs and benefits, and the pitfalls of this coexistence. The issue is viewed from the point of view of describing the roles and exercising the functions of educational policy actors - namely directors and teachers. The most important part of the thesis is a comparative multi-case study, in which the thesis describes and analyzes the functioning of two primary schools, where a classical program with innovative elements works together with the Montessori program. The work concludes that the most important factors of the coexistence of the two programs at one school is the way of school management and the circumstances of the emergence of the second program at school.
