In this bachelor thesis author assesses information system of Stredoslovenská distribučná, a.s., energy distribution company, and designs potential changes. First part of the thesis is focused on theoretical knowledge of information systems, and it is further developed and used for assessment of the system itself. Theoretical part together with tailored analyses serves as a mean to design changes leading to improvement of specific processes and partial elements of the information system.

Goal of this thesis is to analyze processes in company’s warehouse, optimize it and create backend of warehouse’s information system. Application aim to evidence income goods, stock and expedition. System allows comunicate with web services of delivery companies. It was implemented in PHP with use of Nete, Slim and Doctrine. Application was successfuly implemented and tested.

Transformation of Business Process Models

This work deals with research of business processes modeling, especially with using of the BPMN notation. Further, this work discusses representation of business processes in the text form using the extensible markup language - XML; its advantages and disadvantages. The main content of this work is the transformation of a model denoted in the BPMN notation into the UML language standard. This transformation is made at the level of XML specification. A simple application that can perform the given transformation is a part of this work.

This term project is about analyses and design of information system for administration and managing business firm.System is designed as module system with unlimithed count of modules that coact or are connected with another modules. Each module has its own data tables in database, own Classes which make the middle layer of aplication and graphical interface, but modules are not independent (one module can not work as a system).Iner communication among modules is based on database servers.Part of the application is its own database. To accomplish this project I had to familiarize myself with a problemathic of programming in programming language C# and with database language PostgreSQL

This Bachelor´s thesis is focused on the area of workflow management systems which serve for automatic control and monitoring business processes. Related terminology and the reference model that brings standardization amongst individual workflow products manufacturers are described in the thesis. A workflow management system was designed in process of writing this thesis. Its key features are the possibility for a user to edit tasks of a process and the support of decision logic of process branching on the basis of the variables acquired during the process.

Bachelor thesis ,,Analysis of business processes as a preparation for the implementation of an information system” deals with the questions of business processes in context of the requirements of the company for an information system. The theoretical part describes business processes, methods of their improving and it also marginally treats of information systems. The practical part is focusing on analysis, classification, description and illustration of the business processes which were chosen and it should become a resource for the description of requirements for the incoming IS.
