The influence of divorce on adolescent psychosomatics from a perspective of social workers.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the influence of divorces on adolescent psychosomatics from the perspective of a social worker. Its main goal is to investigate the impact of divorce on adolescent psychosomatics from the perspective of a social worker. In accordance with the goal, two main research questions were stated as following: What is the influence of a divorce on adolescent psychosomatics? What techniques and methodologies are applied by child protection service workers while discovering the psychosomatic symptomps on adolescents? The theoretical part is aimed at family, divorce, adolescent psychosomatics and its prevention. This part also includes social work with a divorcing family, methods and techniques applied by social workers and the general information on child protection services and the Authority of Social and Legal Protection of Children. The empirical part describes the methodology, provides the answers of interviewees and summarizes the outputs of the analyzed data. The quantitative research method called snow ball was chosen to guarantee the appropriate selection of interviewees. The interviewed group consists of nine subjects employed at the child protection services. As gathering research methods, a semi-structured interview and a survey were implemented. An open coding method was used to conclude the results of the research. This research shows that divorce has an impact on adolescent psychosomatics from the perspective of social workers. The social workers are familiar with these problematics and apply the methods of social working with individuals and families. The most commonly applied methods are guided or semi-structural interviews during which the clients are provided with supervision or addressed to contact professional help.
The role of the father from the perspective of adolescents

This bachelor thesis deals with role of father from the perspective of adolescents. The theoretical part consists of two chapters. The first chapter deals with characteristics of adolescence. The second chapter is on the subject of fatherhood. Attention is here devoted to roles those father plays in the family, differences in the approach to daughters and sons and what the absence of the father in life of the adolescent brings. The research part, with the help of qualitative methods and case studies, compares the adolescent's perspective of the role of the father in the family and also deals with differences and common features of individual cases.
Adolescents opinion of homosexual families

The bachelor´s thesis focuses on the attitude of adolescents toward the families of homosexual couples. This topic has been the subject of much debate in recent years and today´s young people will soon decide whether homosexual couples will have parental rights and the opportunity to lock up marriage. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the concept of family, its definition and function. It also explains the concept of homosexuality and adolescence. Practical part solves in the form of quanitative research the attitude of adolescents to children and foundations families and gay couples. I chose an electronic questionnaire as the method for data collection. The data were processed and converted into graphs. It has established four research questions that I am trying to find answears to.
Influence of physical activity on the psyche of children in the 2nd grade of elementary schools

The thesis deals with the influence of physical activity on actual mental states of individuals. I focus on mood changes due to movement of children at the middle school or primary/secondary school. I realized measurements of actual mental states with the questionnaire POMS. Every respondent received this questionnaire before and after the physical activity. Research results show a positive effect of movement on mood.
Impact of load on cognitive level in decision-making processes in selected sport game

Title: The influence of physical load on the level of cognition and decision-making processes in a selected sports game Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find out level of changes in cognition and decision-making processes after physical load.and how level of these changes differ between more and less skilled athletes. Methods: Result evaluation was done via descriptive statistics (average result of research group, standard deviation) and t-test paired two sample for means. Results: Research group was made of 18 probands (floorball players), whose ages were between eighteen and twenty seven years. All probands performed diagnostics in virtual reality consisting of five skill tests. First diagnostics was performed before physical load and second diagnostics after physical load. The physical load took the form of the vita maxima spiroergometric test. In case of avarage changes in cognitive functions after physical load, players accomplished following outcomes: recognition time (ms) -2.1±235.8 reaction time (ms) -87.7±148.1, release time (ms) 40.5±218.9, player tracking (%) 8.7±17.3. Scheuermann's disease and its most recent approaches to conservative treatment - systematic review

Title: Scheuermann's disease and its most recent approaches to conservative treatment - a systematic review Objective: This diploma thesis aims to evaluate the most commonly used therapeutic approaches in adolescents with Morbus Scheuermann and analyze which of the physiotherapeutic approaches are most effective. Methods: This diploma thesis is processed as a systematic review search using databases PubMed, Scopus, EBSCOhost, Web of Science, Science Direct. The first part of this thesis contains the current knowledge and theoretical bases of Morbus Scheuermann. The second part has a descriptive-analytical character. It contains an analysis of a study where was used conservative movement therapy. Results: After the final review of the studies, only 1 study was qualified to be included in this research. The study examined the effectiveness of treatment of Scheuermann's disease using the Schroth method. Because only one study was used in the review, it is not possible to evaluate the results of the studies. It is also not possible to interpret, which conservative therapy is the most effective. However, the study showed higher effectiveness of therapy in patients enrolled in the intervention group, using the Schroth method. Mental health problems related to suicidal behaviour in selected students of grammar schools in the Pilsen Region

This thesis was created with the primary aim of obtaining and writing the main and important information related to mental health problems related to suicidal behaviour from the perspective of selected girls who study grammar schools in the Pilsen Region. In the theoretical part, the first two chapters define general characteristics and main information related to health, mental health, mental illness and suicidal behaviour. Subsequently, the theoretical part is devoted to the direct application of lessons learned and the addition of important data following the age category of grammar school students in the thematic areas of mental health, mental illness and suicidal behaviour. In the practical part, using a qualitative method of semi-structured interview, research was carried out involving 9 selected female students from 8 grammar schools in the Pilsen Region aged 14-18, which focused on finding data from their own experiences and attitudes to mental health and suicidal behaviour, both in and outside the school environment. Trendy things in adolescence - prestige and its materialization

The purpose of my thesis is to present possible influence of trendy things to prestige, in the ninth grade of city primary school. The goal of this thesis is to identify the social structure of the students' group, to map the value orientation of the students, to identify their trendy things, and to connect all these findings. The thesis tries to answer the question of the influence of trendy things to the prestige in this students' group, and find out whether in this group of students exists the materialization of prestige. The text is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on pointing out the main aspects of the topic of trendy things, adolescence, materialism and prestige. These topics are analysed in the context of psychology and partly sociology, antropology and education as well. Empirical part, in addition to the description of objectives, methods, research sample and environment, pays particular attention to analysis of its own data of quality-oriented research with the support of several quantitative methods. First, it describes the social hierarchy of students in terms of their degree of influence, popularity and prestige, and identifies their sub-groups. Life values of pupils of 8th and 9th grades

The diploma thesis "Life values of pupils of 8th and 9th grades" deals with the life values in the complicated lifetime of adolescence. The main focus is on the youth at the age of 13 to 15, which corresponds with the 8th and 9th grade of elementary schools or with tercie and kvarta of grammar schools. The thesis concentrates primarily on the values and value rankings of individuals, mentions possible influences on these values and explains some concepts related to the values.or explaining the values. I specify the life period of adolescence, the integration of individuals into the society and their bonds to their families. The adolescents' ideas about their future are also reflected. The practical part of the thesis compares the life values of primary school pupils and grammar school students. To demonstrate the differences, I use a questionnaire survey complemented with professional opinions of teachers and professors from the schools mentioned. I am trying to find out if their values, value rankings, ideas about future life and their parents' support are significantly different in some ways or if there are any remarkable contrasts in these areas in terms of genders.
