Influence of cutting speed and other parameters on the surface quality of aluminium alloys after AWJ cutting
Hendrych, Jan ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
The main goal of this work is to get known with this new technology of division material. That means dividing material with water beam and its consecutive comparing of advantages and disadvantages, with cutting material by laser or plasma. Than we pay our attention to parameters which influences the quality of surface especially to how fast is the movement of water beam and thickness of division material. These two parameters are evaluated and cutted material is also photodocumented.
Design of Machine for Water Jet Cutting
Rašková, Jana ; Bukvald, Jiří (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is an innovative approach to design of machines for waterjet cutting with technical, aesthetic, ergonomic and ecological requirements. The work focuses on the interaction between user and machine in small batch operation.
Surface integrity after waterjet cutting process
Pešata, Jan ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
is thesis on subject "Surface integrity after waterjet cutting process" describes problem of the progressive advanced technology, unconventional hydroabrasive jet cutting, examines the integrity of the surface after cutting AWJ and discusses selected factors on the outcome of the cutting process. Also, there are mentioned accompany effects of cutting process and the various applications of AWJ. A special attention is devoted to the surface integrity evaluation in terms of its quality. Next was attention to factors entering into the process of division and affecting the surface topography.
The study of the influence of process parameters on the roughness of the cut for flame laser cutting of stainless steel
Kučera, Václav ; Hála, Michal (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
Thesis presents a study of the influence of process parameters on the roughness of the cut surface. The test material is 1.4301, namely austenitic stainless steel. When a parameter is the surface roughness not change too much. In some samples there were defects in the form of cutting burrs. The graphs below show the estimated minimum change one parameter (the lowest point of the curve). As the most important parameter from a technological point of view, cutting speed, constitutes a major cost item compared to the auxiliary gas and power. For samples with a thickness of 2 mm and 3 mm has been achieved good results with decrease in the cutting rate of 30% percent, although when cutting the samples with a default rate was almost identical results. For samples with a thickness of 3 mm the best results were achieved by increasing the speed by 30 %, decrease the rate should be compared with the economy of the process to reduce surface roughness. For changes in the gas pressure was achieved the best values at a pressure increase of 30 %. When you change the performance of the best results are achieved by setting 100–90 % capacity.
Proposal of suitable technology for manufacture of the part "foot column"
Langr, Aleš ; Šlais, Miroslav (referee) ; Peterková, Eva (advisor)
Master's thesis, elaborated within Master's degree, submits a proposal of suitable technology for manufacturing “column foot“ part, which attaches filtration unit to the ground. Material is 6 mm thick sheet steel in accordance with ČSN 41 1375 norm. Run (/production batch) of the part is 4 000 pieces per year. On the basis of literary study about unconventional technologies for flat sheet metal production 3 technologies were suggested: plasma cutting, water jet cutting and laser cutting. These technologies were technologically and economically analyzed. At the end thesis evaluates whether purchase of respective machine would pay out for the firm or they should continue to buy parts from cooperation company.
Confrontation of processes WJM/AWJ and LBM in condition firm
Novotný, Petr ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis describes confrontation of processes WJM/AWJ and LBM in condition firm. This is describes basic principle both methods, the most commonly used source of laser beam and pressure water. Use in practice, advantagesdále and disadvantages of technologies. Furthermore there is a proposal for a new machinery in the current. Water jet is recommended, because of the wide use cut materials.
Technology of Laser Cutting
Kolkop, David ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This diploma thesis treats about technology of laser and its use in practice. It describes principle, available types and possible applications in material working. The work is specifically focused on the technology of laser cutting. Diploma thesis was written in co-operation with Technologické centrum a. s. company. This company disposes of four cutting lasers. The aluminium template was produced by laser Byspeed 5200 ARC.
Design of a workplace for polystyrene objects cutting by industrial robot
Macek, Jakub ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis mainly focuses on the construction of the effector for cutting complex shapes made of polystyrene by an industrial robot. This thesis describes various methods of cutting polystyrene, the choice of the right type of robot, construction of the effector with the possibility of tensing the wire, workplace suggestion, as well as the results of accuracy and precision measurements of the constructed effector.
Laser Plotter for Cutting Steel Plates
Dokulil, Marek ; Nevoral, Jan (referee) ; Crha, Adam (advisor)
This diploma thesis is divided into two main parts. The first section is dedicated to the history and development of the laser technology. The second part describes all individual types of laser technology which are used in the industry nowadays. The next section follows with the research of various laser devices which serve mainly as a cutting tool. This knowledge gathered in the previous part was used to create the next part including the own conception of the machine. The second half of this diploma thesis deals with a research of software available at the market today. Eventually, after summarizing the characteristics of each software, the new concept and implementation of own software are made. In the final section, there are mentioned the possible extension and available upgrades. The reader should be able to create his/her own conception of the laser device and software after reading and understanding this paper.
Design for Manufacturing of an Assistant Facility for CO2 Laser
Okřina, Lukáš ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Slaný, Martin (advisor)
The main point of this thesis is a design of an assistant facility for low power CO2 lasers with a focus on a manufacturing process of the supporting metallic parts. The theoretical part of the thesis summarises the general subject-matter of CO2 laser technology, their types and industry utilisation. The thesis includes a review of main characteristics of the available assistant facilities. Main task is to design a construction of a new facility with the consecutive technological manufacturing process. The next part of this design is technical and economic evaluation in connection with mass production.
