Project of the Center of experimental archeology in Únětice

Based on postprocesualism theories, this master's thesis provides data for setting up the Centre of Experimental Archaeology in Únětice near Prague, designed to pursue an experimental research of Unetice culture agriculture settlement. This project aims to provide space for carrying out archaelogical experiments on the one hand, and to present the results of archaelogical research to public in an innovative way on the other. In addition, it might play an important role in the touristic development of the village.

The historical research devoted only small focus on the entrapment of the Czech nobility. Generally, mainly the conclusions made by Josef Šusta had been taken into account. Specialists say that we have no chance to find something new in this subject of historical scholarship. Big deposits of silver were found near Kutná Hora during Václav's II rule. The hot symbiosis started up between the monarch and the tops of the patriciate. This friendship was bringing benefits to both of the sites of the symbiosis. The patriciates was able to do businesses and trades very easily, when the monarch stood by their side. In retum for this the patriciates was providing the valuable services to monarch, especially managing the royal chamber or helping in financial crisis. Helping in financial crisis became important during times of expensive and ambitious statesmanship of the last Přemysls. When the last of the Přemysls died, the prominent patriciates were starting to participate in political events that were shaking the whole kingdom. They were taking part in voting congresses, different missions; actually some of Czech pretendents tried to win the patriciates over. Evaluation of Body Composition of Soccer Players

Název: Hodnocení tělesného složení hráčů fotbalu. Title: Evaluation of body composition of soccer players. V této diplomové práci jsem sledoval vliv pohybového zatížení na tělesné složení hráčů fotbalu během jedné sezóny na podkladě antropometrického měření. V minulosti se již mnoho studií zabývalo analýzou různých parametrů u hráčů fotbalu (včetně antropometrických), ale jen několik z nich sledovalo antropometrický vývoj během takto dlouhého období. Cílem bylo zjistit změny ve složení lidského těla mezi měřením na začátku sezóny (5.1.2005), průběžným (1.5.2005) a konečným měřením (15.8.2005). Během celého období sledování docházelo k trvalému snižování údajů o váze a Body Mass Indexu. S výjimkou řasy nad hřebenem kosti kyčelní, se tloušťka kožních řas zmenšovala od prvního měření. Významné změny byly pozorovány u procentuálního úbytku tuku naměřeném na konci sezóny v kontextu s předešlými měřeními. Během měření byl také zaznamenán nárůst hmotnosti kostí a svalů. Play and the Personality

This dissertation IS focusing on human personality In relation to phenomenon of game. In the first part, game is being defined by recognizing its main traits and categories, which correspond with major aspects of human nature. Next, sport is presented as a demonstration of one of these categories - agon. The first part is dosed by contemplation of Eugen Fink on the meaning of game. In the second part, the impacts of human personality on game are discussed, on the bases of psychological categories of action and situation. Last part presents a practical research on personal qualities of a sports player (player of "five aside football"), that are relevant for his success.

The Idea of Acceptability in Youth Magazines

Tato diplomová práce by měla přispět charakteristice jazyka tištěných médií určených mládeži jako specifické sociální skupině. Vychází z analýzy vybraných tištěných médií (časopisů) a snaží se zachytit a zjistit, jaké komunikační strategie a jazykové prostředky užívají média pro získání a udržení dospívajících čtenářů a komunikaci s nimi. Soustředím se na prostředky akceptability textu, které doložím na příkladech konkrétních časopiseckých textů. Předpokládám, že užití prostředků akceptability je na jedné straně motivováno snahou autorů seriózně a srozumitelně čtenáře informovat, na straně druhé snahou navázat s nimi kontakt, přiblížit se jejich světu, vytvořit atmosféru blízkosti a důvěry (oslovení, tykání / vykání...). Dále očekávám, že snahy o akceptabilitu se projeví také na volbě tématu a útvaru národního jazyka, na délce a strukturaci textů, lexiku, užití výrazových prostředků na rovině syntaktické, v množství kontaktních prostředků či aktualizovaného vyjadřování. Závěry, nimž práce dospěje, by měly přispět informovanosti o světě časopisů pro mládež a jejich jazykové kultuře. Dále by měly shrnout výskyt projevů akceptability na výčtu konkrétních příkladů a pomoci ke klasifikaci těchto zjištěných jevů a vymezení jejich funkcí. My diploma thesis is divided into two parts - the theoretical one and the practical one. In my opinion, people perceive religion as a natural part of the general education, according to the bibliography and my own experience. Not only this. People, mainly young people, are open-minded to faith. It assumes people are able to understand these things which only religion can bring them. It pays heed to this topic in the practical part of my work. There is also an emphasis on the school teaching of religion in history in this work. It concerns the personality of teacher who teaches religion (the qualification of the teacher of religion). Furthermore, it also concerns the status of religion, the church schools and Churches in the contemporary rule of law in the Czech Republic.

Integrating Pre-School Children with Health Problems in Nursery Schools

The subject of the thesis is the integration of pre-school children with the handicap in the common kindergarten. The author attempted to create a complex approach of the integration of the handicapped pre-school child. The study consists of two parts: the theoretical and the practical one. In the theoretical part the author studies the legislation and the progress of the integration in the Czech Republic. This part is focused mainly on participants of the integration process - the family, children and the school. The conditions of integration are included and positives and possible risks that must be taken into consideration in the responsible approach to the integration, are showed. The practical part of the study describes the integration process in the common kindergarten in Prague 6. Parents, the teachers and the consultants comment the consequence of the integration process. In the final part of the study two cases of the integration is described in detail. The author showed that this process, in spite of number of the problems, brings an advantage for the every participant of the integration and thus it is advisable to continue with it. Prague linguistic typology: an empirical test of a supposed correlation

AbstractAbstractAbstractAbstract The presented work is focused on the Prague school of typology, an approach formulated by Vladimír Skalička and pursued later by Petr Sgall or Jaroslav Popela. In the centre of the approach stands the formulation of 5 idealised language types or clusters of linguistic features. The combinatorial possibilities of these types are to be observed in the languages of the world. Prague school of typology has been a target of critique mainly as a holistic approach and due to its problematic work with typological data. The work is concerned with the possibilities of testing the validity of some of the proposals of the approach in question by means of the methods of modern typology. The possible correlation of morphological exponence and NP agreement was tested on a representative sample of 47 languages. The index of exponence and agreement was obtained for each language in the sample. No significant correlation between the indices was found. Both the symmetrical "favourability" of cumulation and agreement and "dis-favourability" of separation and agreement was ruled out. There was not sufficient data to prove or rule out the asymmetrical relationship between cumulation and agreement. Řízení kurzových rizik v exportní firmě

Cílem této diplomové práce je nejen teoreticky popsat řízení kurzového rizika, ale také zpracovat konkrétní případovou studii a nastínit, jak je tato problematika řešena v českých podmínkách. Základem je teoretické vymezení podstaty problému a jeho analýza. Důraz je také kladen na objasnění fungování vybraných hedgingových instrumentů. Takto získané teoretické poznatky jsou poté aplikovány na konkrétní případ jedné z největších dopravních firem v České republice. Nechybí tedy rozbor všech vazeb firmy, které mají vliv její devizovou pozici, predikce vývoje měnového kurzu a analýza současného způsobu zajištění. Nedílnou součástí práce je pak i několik návrhů, které mohou vést ke zlepšení fx managementu firmy.
