Non competition clause

The aim of the thesis is to be a comprehensive analysis of the non-competition clause in Czech Labour law. The reason for my research is to examine the non-competition clause, compare and contrast its advantages and disadvantages and to make a conclusion, whether the current legislation meets the requirements of both contracting parties. The thesis is composed of four chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of non-competition clause, its history and its current problems. Chapter One is introductory and describes the competition in general and in Labour law. The chapter is subdivided into two parts. Part One describes the difference between the competition during the employment relationship and after termination of the employment. Part Two describes the basic terminology and the current state of a non-competition clause. Chapter Two focuses on the history of the non-competition clause in our legislation and illustrates the evolution of such institute. This chapter is subdivided into three parts. Each of them focuses on a specific historical period in the evolution of the non-competition clause. The analysis of competotion film distribution

This text deals with the market for film distribution in the Czech republic and it focuses mainly on the competition in this area. Its theoretical background lies in a structural analysis of sector and Porter's Competitive Forces model. This theoretical approach is confronted with contemporary situation on the market in the practical part of the text. Also, there is formulated a competitive advantage in product and in producer as a purchase motivation. These aspects of competitive advantages are discussed and some recommendations for market subjects are proposed. Brief discussion of financial indicators of main firms is also included.

As I meassuring instrument to identify competitive advantages of EU countries I used the Global Competitiveness Report from World Economic Forum. In the last chapter I describe the forming of Lisbon agenda, goals and progress so far.

In this diploma thesis, I focus on Czech and European market of information technology. My principal aim is to analyze a measure of Czech competitive advantage in this sector. Both global statistic and segment characteristic are subjects of this analysis. My diploma thesis has following structure; after opening definition of literary sources, I deal with brief analyses of Czech IT market. Next two chapters are about European IT market structure and its characteristics. Last section is focused on competitive advantage of Czech Republic.

Knowledge management is one of frequently discussed disciplines. Knowledge in business area became the main competitive advantage in the last years and therefore it is necessary to manage knowledge effectively. This paper is focused on analysis of a system for managing knowledge used in a big software company and on suggestion of possible modifications of chosen parts of this system, which is the overall goal of this paper. Concrete goals are defined within the analytical part of this paper.

The life insurance market in Czech Republic

This thesis compares five major insurance companies and their products. In the first part of this thesis are evaluated according to four criteria insurance companies and their products will be evaluated by a total of seven criteria in the second part, and in the resulting sequence has the same weight each criterion. The main purpose of this work is to show the public, especially the various advantages and disadvantages of insurance products in a competitive comparison.

Innovation is one of the most important elements concerning higher performance in company efficiency. This methodical definition takes a look at the main benefits of on innovation on efficiency and hence on the efficiency and performance on the company as a whole, presenting the possibility of measurement of innovation efficiency and establishing defined methods for its improvement exploiting the development of innovation potential This particular issue is topical not only by reason of competitiveness of our companies but also maintaining share market and surviving the current economic crisis. Well managed and successfully introduced innovation into the market represents the tool for the companies, by means of which they can reach competitive advantages, enabling their prosperity in this slump. Every company has a certain innovation potential which should be explored, supported, utilized and systematically developed. The doctoral thesis focuses on the achievement of two basic goals, the cognitional and the inventive goal as well as confirmation or disconfirmation of set hypothesis. The first cognitional goal analyzes the present situation of solved questions, where current opinions and theories of our local and foreign experts are presented concerning innovation and company development. Basic definitions dealing with solved problems are described here as well. Various factors of innovation performance development are being carried out with the help of secondary and finally also primary research in Czech companies. The second related inventive goal is focused on design of methodical approach of increasing innovation performance that can be used in Czech companies. Contributions of the academic dissertation for theory and its contribution for corporation development and managerial practice are emphasized in the end part thesis.
