Pastoral and Missionary Service for Police Members of the Czech Republic

This dissertation paper analyzes the spiritual services within the law enforcement organizations of the Czech Republic, the specialized biblical and theoretical foundation of such services, the historical frame of the Church entering the law enforcement, the problems of curing psychological stress in law enforcement jobs, and the spiritual services currently rendered to the law enforcement officers. The conclusion summarizes the information processed and examines the future development of the issues involving the spiritual care rendered to the law enforcement officers under the provisions of a modern society.

59 SHRNUTÍ Diplomová práce se zabývá judikaturou Evropského soudního dvora na vybraném úseku ochrany životního prostředí. V konkrétním případě jde o problematiku odpadů. Odpady jsou samozřejmý produkt lidské činnosti a je nutné stanovit jasně daná pravidla, jak s nimi nakládat, tak aby bylo minimalizováno riziko dopadu na životní prostředí či lidské zdraví. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. Na úvod je zmíněno postavení a právní základy pro činnost Evropského soudního dvora v rámci systémů orgánů Evropských společenství, jeho organizační struktura a stručně i průběh řízení. Je zde také zmíněn vliv Lisabonské smlouvy na fungování ESD. Ve druhé kapitole se věnuji roli ESD v oblasti ochrany životního prostředí. Jsou zde identifikovány vybrané typy řízení před ESD a ke každému typu řízení je podána i statistika za určité časové období. Třetí část mé práce se zaměřuje již zcela na judikaturu ESD v oblasti odpadů. Jsou zde rozebrány klíčové judikáty zabývající se centrálním pojmem odpad, zejména předpoklady klasifikace materiálu jako odpadu a vymezení pojmu vedlejšího produktu, podmínkami přepravy odpadů a přesahem odpadového hospodářství do problematiky volného pohybu zboží, jedné ze základních svobod Společenství. Chosen psychological aspects of current educational reform from teachers perspective

The thesis "Chosen psychological aspects of Czech school reform from teachers perspective" is concerned about current Czech educational reform and is looking for psychological background to new trends and goals. In the first part the author identifies the changes, which will occur - the changes in the goals, changes in the content of curriculum and procedural changes. In further chapter the focus is moved on theories, which are supporting the direction of changes. It is child-centered approach, constructivism, multiple intelligence theory, and Bloom taxonomy. In the third part she is analyzing the impact of the reform on the teacher's profession. The last part of theoretical part is focused on the crucial part of the reform - key competencies. She is describing the term and ending with critical analysis of the concept in current Czech law. The empirical part of the thesis is devoted to evaluation of key competencies. Author suggests a didactic test and methodic for pupils portfolio.

Divorce and the legal regulation of relationship between parents and a child after divorce

61 6 Divorce and legal regulation of proportion of parents to the minor child for a period after divorce 6.1 Resumé This diploma deals with the Czech legal regulation of divorce of marriage and status of the minor child during and after the divorce procedure. In the second chapter, following the introduction, is described the divorce itself. The divorce is the only possible legal dissolution of the marriage throughout spouses' life upon the qualified breakdown. As demanded by law, the qualified breakdown has to be deep, permanent and the restoration of cohabitation cannot be expected. The Czech legal regulation recognizes tree forms of divorce, (i) non-contentious (consensual) divorce, (ii) contentious divorce and (iii) divorce with harshness clause. Non-contentious divorce (hereinafter referred to as "consensual divorce") was amended in our legal regulation in 1998 by the act No. 91/1998 Coll. In my opinion this consensual divorce is the best how to dissolve the marriage from the point of view of the protection of the child's interests. The advantage of the consensual divorce is that spouses have to set off all their rights and obligations relating to their marriage (i.e. property relations, living situation, agreement on the status of the minor child after the divorce, … etc.). Tactics to avoid false testimony

Resumé The name of my thesis is "Tactical Methods of Getting over the False Testimony". My thesis is divided into four parts. Each of these parts is concerned with the particular theme related to the false testimony. The reason I've chosen this theme is that I'm interested in criminal law, especiallly in criminalistics. During my study experience I cooperated with prosecution and police authorities. I could observe and study how law was used in common life and in profesional work of police officers and civil servants. I could see how criminal law was applied in criminal procedure, I was allowed to watch the video records of interrogation and testimony. I had a very good opportunity to use my theory knowledge of law in practice. The first part deals with the word testimony in term of law, criminalistics and forensic psychology. The law determines the basic legal frame of testimony. The Act (Code of criminal procedure) is the main source of law. Criminalistics doesn't only concentrate on the legal frame of testimony. Criminalistics is a special discipline of science that helps police, prosecution and justice to realize the process of interrogation. 62 8. SUMMARY The theme of my Thesis is The Peculiarities of Interrogation of Children. In the introduction of my Thesis I present the reasons which led me to the choice of the theme of my Thesis and describe the division of the Thesis into particular chapters. The second chapter deals with the interrogation in general and its definition, targets, subject and with the division of the interrogation into particular kinds from various points of view. The third chapter contains the interpretation of the term Child in accordance with the Czech law, the criminal procedural regulation of interrogation of children and also the periodization of the child's age based on the stages of development of the human psyche. The forth chapter concerns the preparation of the interrogation, division of the preparation of the interrogation into analytic and synthetic part and with particularities which must be obeyed by the interrogator before the beginning of the interrogation itself. Media content analysis of the IV Congress of the Association of Czechoslovak Writers in daily newspapers and culture press

The subject of this bachelor thesis is media content analysis of the IVth Congress of the Association of Czechoslovak Writers, which took place in 1967. Analysed press is: daily newspapers Rudé právo ("The Red Law") and Práce ("The Work") and culture press Literární noviny ("The Literary Newspapers") and Literární listy ("The Literary Pages"). This thesis contains not only the mentions about the IVth congress of writers but also the following events as regards the writers association because it had been tightly connected to this IVth congress. The thesis tries to compare the image created by the analysed media in 1967/1968 with the historic reality. There were two main aims of this thesis. Firstly, to learn if the analysed media reported objectively about the IVth Congress of the Association of Czechoslovak Writers, secondly, to find if there is a difference as concerns the freedom of press between the years 1967 and 1968. During the analysis it became obvious that all those media published incomplete and vague news about the IVth congress until the end of the year 1967. The Development of Musical Appreciation in Pre-School Children through Singing Activities

The student deals with the unfolding of musicality and especially vocal and singing education of children in pre-school age. She starts from physiological, psychological and ontogenetical laws of this life period. In the practical part she describes the level of singing abilities progress of children before they enter the elementary school. The aim of the thesis is to highlight the link between learning disabilities and school success. The theoretical part describes the specifics of the development of a child under school age, the learning process and its laws, specific learning disabilities, their various types and describes the conditions for success in education. The practical part is focused on research, processing, analysis and interpretation of results and subsequent recommendations for the general public and teaching, where there is contact with a child with dysorthography.
