The use of children's musical in the process of teaching music

This diploma thesis introduces children's musical as a didactic tool at primary schools. This work maps the influence of creative playwright on the development of musical abilities, skills and creativities. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis defines the term "musical". It briefly describes the origin of the musical as a genre. The practical part brings possibilities of using a musical as a means of an educational process. It provides particular demonstrative situations which lead to development of the crucial competences of the students. The author of the musical is the author of this diploma thesis. She herself translates the music recording, scenario, and methodical material. The method, that has been used for the field research, is a systemic observation which is divided into ten lessons in the form of a project-based learning. This thesis deals with an issue, whether the musical enables an active engagement of the pupils in the musical educational process. The hypotheses, which have been set, are verified by the means of collective reflection from which follows students' higher motivation for musical activity. Time traveling through the town Aš : A history project

This diploma thesis deals with the history of the town Aš. The first historical part describes the history of the town since the first mentions to the present days. During the historical development of the region as well as the town itself the diploma thesis focuses mainly on the interesting or unusual events or the differences between the development of the Czech territory central region and the region of Aš. In this diploma thesis is also emphasised the historical development of the textile industry that was interwoven with this region. The didactic part depicts the topic connected with the educational area called Man and his world, specifically describes the thematic areas Place where we live and Man and Time. It also describes the connection between the historical education and project-based learning. The project Time traveling through the town Aš focuses on getting to know the region for the fourth graders. The pupils work with historical materials, meet the town's history and compare the historical and present situations. The project helps the pupils understand the particularity of the place they live in and helps them create a favourable relationship with the town. Project Teaching in Science Education at School in Most Region

This diploma thesis deals with the inclusion of project days in Natural history lessons at elementary schools in Most and nearby villages. The diploma thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part is devoted to origin and history of project-based learning in the world and in czech schools, theoretical concepts that are directly related to project-based learning, and also the incusion of project-based learning into present educational proces, advantages and disadvantages of project-based learning. The research part of the thesis and the main research problem focuses on using the project-based learning at primary school. The research part is the result of a questionnaire survey that I realized at selected elementary schools. In the process of researching was used a questionnaire method, which i sone of the most common tools for data collection. Teachers from these schools took care of completing the statistical data. The questionnaire was created and distributed electronically. In the practical part I present the project day "Tree Day" which I realized at lower secondery school Obránců míru in Most. The Technical Monuments in Plzeň Region And How to Use Them in Primary School

This diploma thesis is focused on technological sights located in the Pilsen region. The selection contains only those technological sights that are suitable for primary schools. The theoretical section introduces terms project and project-based learning. It describes the realization of a project, its advantages and difficulties. It explores extensively the educational theme A human and His World, technology education and technological literacy. The end of the theoretical section deals with the term technological sight and also the characteristics of six selected technological sights in the Pilsen region. The practical section of the thesis involves a field research of technological sights, planning field trips, possibility to join a field trip to a selected project for primary school pupils and in the end also creating worksheets for field trips.
Implementation of project activities into the teaching of regular subjects in adapted physical activity

Name: Implementation of project activities into the teaching of regular subjects of Adapted Physical Activity. Objective: The aim of the thesis is finding out the current state of implementation of project activities into the teaching of regular subjects of APA, examining the students experience with project-based learning, their opinion on project-based learning and the impact of project- based learning on students and their professional and personal life. Furthermore, to present opinions, ideas, experiences, comments and perspectives of students to practising pedagogues and professional public in order to improve attitude to project activities in APA. Methods: We will use theoretical qualitative research phenomenological conception. To achieve our objectives was used a literary analysis, which introduces theoretical bases in relation to APA, pedagogy and philosophy and self-opinion survey containing 46 closed and open questions focused on experience, opinion and attitude towards project-based learning among 15 contemporary and former students of APA who were intentionally selected. School practice in a company - comparison of current and new approaches

This bachelor thesis deals with a vocational training in a high school and a professional training in a company. First, the current model of the vocational training in the particular high school in České Velenice was mapped. Afterwards, a questionnaire survey was made. The respondents were the students and alumni of this high school. The questionnaire survey focused on issues related to vocational training, instruments for the vocational training, projects, professional training in the company and internships. Based on specialised literature and the results of the questionnaire survey an innovated model of teaching was created.
Working with Texture in Experimental Art Activities at Primary School

This theoretical project-based thesis focuses on surface quality of art objects in the field of artwork. The theoretical section provides general insight into the problematics and it also offers concrete examples of artistic and architectural creations where texture serves an important role. It further introduces and elaborates a few instances of art lessons from special didactics focusing on texture utilization in its artistic activities. The project section of the thesis contains seven logically systematized art lessons which utilize various forms of experimental activities dealing with the subject of texture suitable for the primary school children.
Medieval city - project-based learning at primary school

The diploma thesis "Medieval City - project-based learning at primary school" deals with the issue of the development of knowledge of pupils through project-based learning. The theoretical section is divided into two parts. In the first one, the principles and procedure of creating the project are defined, the link between project-based learning and cross-curricular subject Environmental Education being described. The second part focuses on the history of a medieval city. It explores particular aspects of the origin and development of the city during the Middle Ages, providing a summary of the knowledge that is passed on to pupils through the project instruction. The practical part of the thesis describes the preparation and realization of the "Medieval City" project. The aims are to bring pupils to understand life in a medieval town, its construction and development, so that they can understand its construction structure and location in the landscape, looking at a contemporary city from the perspective of its historical development. At the same time, they deepen their interest in the history of the place they live in and build a relationship to the cultural and historical heritage. This thesis Medicinal plants: analysis of biology textbooks and the project proposal for lower secondary school is focused on project-based learning at lower secondary school on the subject of medicinal plants and on the analysis of biology textbooks in the context of the topic. The first part is devoted to the theoretical bases on the method of project-based learning and theory about medicinal plants. The theoretical part of the project-based learning involves the historical development of project-based learning and the current concept of project-based learning. The theoretical part devoted to medicinal plants presents a view of this issue, focusing on the basic active substances of plants and their harvesting, drying and storage. The following is part of the research, which includes quite an extensive analysis of biology textbooks on the subject of medicinal plants. This section presents a considerable part of the thesis and thus represents a valuable material for teachers who want to deal with medicinal plants in their classes. Krátká, M.: My city a century ago [Diploma Thesis] Praha 2014 - Charles University, Faculty of Education, Art Education Department, 135 p. The diploma thesis focuses on cross-curricular connection of two educational areas; The Art and Culture - Art education and "Man and His World". The thesis also analyzes textbooks of the "Man and His World" educational area and determines how and to what extent it is focused on the theme of home, region, the past, identity of subject and places of public area. The empirical part consists of an educational project closely linking the curriculum of art education with curriculum of the subject "Man and His World". It focuses on primary education and it's goal is to effectively educate children about the history of the town they live in using interdisciplinary approach. The educational project is based on theoretical findings stated in the theoretical part of the diploma thesis. It is also set to the context of contemporary art but in comparison to modern art it seems to be based more traditionally.
