Analysis of Česká spořitelna's saving account communication mix

The bachelor thesis aims to analyze communication mix of Česká spořitelna's saving account. The theoretical part assays marketing activities from general perspective with detail focus on communication mix. Applied part begins with introduction of the firm and its products, afterwards describes development of saving account with overview of competitors based on advertising costs. The key part of the thesis are chapters about campaign proposal and execution containing target group definition, creation of graphic concept and communication plan. At the end the thesis deals with the evaluation of the whole campaign.
Controlling - the possibilities of its use in a bank and an outline of its implementation within the bank's branches in ceskobudejovicky region

This diploma work is focused on the Controlling in the bank sector. The first teoretical part describes Controlling in a common form and displaces frequent and wrong replacements of Controlling with a control and describing function of Controlling in a company and describing also its benefits. The other part deals with bank sector and is focused on evidence of costs and revenues in a bank business. It describes differences between findings profit on the basis of financial accounting and findings profit on the basis of managerial accounting, where deals with the fundamental method of Controlling {--} financial contribution. Practical part is focused on the comparison of profitability of the branches stores in the českobudějovický region. Comparison is executed just on the basis of financial contribution. Česká spořitelna divides these contributions into 1-7a. Individual branches are compared in the tables always according to the concrete contribution. For comparing e.g consulting centre and service centre is important to divide every contribution with FTE (full time equivalent).
Analysis of the development of derivatives in selected banks in the period 2006-2009

Purpose of this bachelor thesis is to study development of derivatives in the period 2006-2009 in certain banks present in the Czech Republic (Česká spořitelna, Československá obchodní banka and Komerční banka). The aim of this thesis is to evaluate whether this development was similar in the chosen banks or whether we can find considerable differences. In the first part, basic theoretical information on derivatives is given which is followed by an analysis of development of derivatives in the chosen banks. This analysis then serves as basis for comparison between the banks.
Loyalty of the retail companies' customers

The objective of this bachelor thesis was to describe the principle of loyalty programs, to think about their value for customers and their impact on the customer's loyalty. The Bonus program, loyalty program of Česká spořitelna, is described in more detail as an example. The first chapter describes loyalty in general, the second one says how to achieve it. There are examples of several loyalty programs principles in the third chapter. Last two chapters contain information about Česká spořitelna and detailed analysis of the Bonus program.
The Mutual Economic Relations between the Czech Republic and Austria

The objective of this bachelor thesis was to analyze the mutual economic relations between the Czech Republic and Austria (especially since the Czech Republic joined the EU), to consider the potential of their future development and to show how important Austrian capital has proven in modernisation of the Czech banking sector. The thesis is divided into two parts: The first part defines economic relations, determines the legislative and political background of those between the Czech Republic and Austria, describes the recent development in the fields of merchandise trade, trade in services, foreign direct investment as well as movement of labour force, and contemplates its perspectives. The second part consists of the above-mentioned case study.
Sponsoring as a marketing tool

Sponsoring really deserves its place among marketing tools. Its significance indicates not only the fact that in real life it is being used increasingly by companies, it is also being paid greater attention in the literature. This work comes with a synthesis that seeks to promote the perception of sponsoring as a specific and comprehensive marketing tool. With comparison of sponsoring within the frame of marketing tools; a detailed comparison with a tool of PR, and with reasons for and against the inclusion sponsoring under the PR. Specific part is focused on new trends in sponsoring-related change in society, and defines the concept of CSR in the frame of social sponsoring. The practical use of sponsoring is studied on example of Czech Savings Bank (Česká spořitelna, a. s.), and describes various processes associated with the sponsoring of the ČS, then describes selected projects of sponsoring and in detail describes and reviews the project Bike for Life (Kolo pro život). The aim of sponsoring in the context of marketing tools is primarily to increase the value and perception of the sponsor`s brand. Enhance sponsor`s image and promote and contribute to a positive public opinion, the last part is therefore devoted to an overall evaluation of sponsorship activities of ČS with measures for their improvement.
Evaluation corporate social responsibility of organization using method KORP

In my diploma work I wrote about Corporate social responsibility, I described their three pillars -- economical, social and environmental. In practical part, I evaluated CSR in Česká spořitelna with method KORP and then I made research with employees about their awareness about CSR in Česká spořitelna.
Position of Czech savings bank on the czech banking market

The main goal of this thesis is to analyse the position of the Ceska sporitelna bank (Czech savings bank) on the czech banking market by applicaion of multiple criteria decision making methods. Analysis is concetrate in two parts - the bank in its complexity and also in the product portfolio mainly in the area of current account as a most strategic banking product. The comparsion of banking products or banks at all is not a goal of this thesis. The thesis is concerned on a basic analysis based on certain presumpions and restrictions.

My bachelor work Banking Products of Česká spořitelna is focused on description of banking products of Česká spořitelna and analysis these products from client's point of view. In theoretical issue I describe bank system in the Czech Republic and Česká spořitelna development with its longtime tradition. I mention the financial crisis. The greatest deal of my work is devoted to describing of banking products, which provides Česká spořitelna to individuals. This is the goal of my bachelor work. Practically part of my work is focused on savings and investment products and provides confrontation of selected savings products with other banks. In this part we can find creation of investment portfolio for hypotetical client. There is a summary of important elements and analysis of position of Česká spořitelna on the bank market in the conclusion of my bachelor work.
