Contactless loading and measurement of high-speed machines
Model of controllable current amplifier based on diamond transistors and voltage amplifiers
Kos, David ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
This thesis is focused on modelling of controllable current amplifier based on voltage controllable amplifiers and diamond transistors. In a first part of the thesis, principle of modelling of diamond transistor and features of diamond transistor OPA860 are discussed. Furthermore, there are discussed features of amplifiers with controllable voltage gain (VCA810 and LMH6505) with main focus on their gain. These amplifiers are used for modelling the current amplifiers. In the next parts there are analyzed of the proposed models and verification of the simulations. The functionality of the models is verified by practical measurements and results are compared with the simulations. In conclusion of the thesis, there are examples of simple applications.
Analysis of human tremor by using hight speed camera
Kuder, Zenon ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Rychtárik, Milan (advisor)
This thesis investigates the possibility of using the Olympus iSpeed 3 high-speed camera and light-emitting diodes in visible light spectrum to analyse human tremor of upper limbs. Moreover, it discusses possible realization of a measurement apparatus including software implemented in the Matlab environment. The system is then tested on a small sample of healthy subjects.
Electronic tester of capacity and internal resistance of batteries and accumulators
Machala, Pavel ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This work deals with the design and realization of electronic tester of capacity and internal resistance of galvanic cells. In the begining is situated the familiarization with basic concepts and features of galvanic cells. There are also described appropriate methods for measuring capacity and internal resistance. These principles are aplied into the design of electronic tester which is described in detail in the next chapter. The designed device is controlled by a microprocessor chip ATmega16, whose software is thoroughly described in the second part. In the end you can find the results of testing and assessment of these tests.
Design and realzation of electric measurements on biological tissues
Kocová, Lucie ; Palai-Dany, Tomáš (referee) ; Tománek, Pavel (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on the electrical properties of biological tissues and flesh in particular. Their electrical characteristics depend on the physical and chemical parameters that determine the concentration and mobility of ions in metabolic fluids. From the electrical point of view, flesh can be simply substituted by a field of elongated conductive cells which are separated by the insulating membrane from each other. In the next part, the Fricke model is introduced. The model describes the measurement of impedance of the tissue at low and high frequencies. The aim of the work is to assess how the impedance of the dielectric sample is dependent on the frequency of the electrical signal during the optimal aging or ripening of flesh.
Optoelectronic sensor of polarization state of light from biological samples
Mikláš, Jan ; Brüstlová, Jitka (referee) ; Tománek, Pavel (advisor)
The living body tissues consist of cells which dimensions are bigger than a wavelength of visible light. Therefore a Mie scattering of reflected of backscaterred light occurs and different polarization states arise. The changes of polarization state due to the multiple scattering of light in the biological cellular tissues allow measure the aging of biological tissue. The reflected or backscattered polarized laser light exhibits multiple scattering on the sample surface and in its subsurface area.
Measurement of gradient magnetic field decay in MR tomograph
Kubásek, Ondřej ; Kubásek, Radek (referee) ; Bartušek, Karel (advisor)
The objective of my thesis is to measure magnetic field gradient decay in an MR tomograph, process and evaluate the data measured and analyse the issue. The theoretical section focuses on the reasons for the gradient distortion which has a negative impact on NMR measuring techniques and it also describes options to eliminate the negative effects, focusing mainly on pre-emphasis filtration. It also lists methods of gradient magnetic field measuring. The practical section contains results of magnetic field decay measurements taken with the tomograph in the Institute of scientific instruments of the Academy of sciences in Brno using the method of instantaneous frequency with and without pre-emphasis compensation. The data are processed with MAREVISI and MATLAB programmes. MATLAB is used to develop a modern method of filtration to eliminate noise in useful signal leading to more accurate measurements of MR magnetic fields. This filtration uses a method of time-dependent variable thresholds and two-channel filter banks. MATLAB is also used to design a programme for approximation of the measured gradient magnetic field decay. The decay must be approximated in order to obtain time constants and the degree of exponential decay, which serve to set up the pre-emphasis compensation.
Parts inspections by using reverse engineering methods.
Urbánek, Aleš ; Sedlák, Josef (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor work deals with parts inspections by using reverse engineering methods. In first parts is adduced distribution and description devices used for reversing engineering. In next parts of work is characteristic of conventional measuring methods. The parts of this work is practical utilization of ATOS system to verification given part. Purpose of work is comparing conventional measuring methods with reverse engineering methods.
Ballistic pendulum
PEŠEK, Milan
The subject of my thesis is ballistic pendulum. I am describing here not only the function and the physical characteristics of this device but also I am proposing experimental procedures of tasks that can be measured. Then these tasks are processed and evaluated. Furthermore, the above mentioned device will be available to students for any kind of experiments.
