Spectral analysis of continual and synthetic jet
Broučková, Z. ; Trávníček, Zdeněk ; Šafařík, P.
This experimental work deals with a characterization of three types of air jet flows (continual jet, synthetic jet and continual jet which is controlled by a synthetic jet). The characterization is performed using the power spectral density (PSD). All the characteristics were obtained from single-point measurements of flow velocity. The velocity was measured by a hot-wire anemometer (CTA). Power spectral density was acquired directly from measured signal (or from velocity data) by means of MATLAB software. Obtained graphs showed the control effect on the main flow behaviour. The significant qualitative change was revealed near a boundary of synthetic jet formation. Moreover it was concluded that this significant change can be also well quantified.

Effect of selected factors on the yield and health status of cabbage, carrot and onion
Koudela, M. ; Novotný, Čeněk ; Nedorost, L. ; Kocourek, F. ; Svozilová, L. ; Brožová, L. ; Doležalová, J. ; Kubíček, M.
The presented methodology summarizes the results of field experiments documenting that the selected factors influenced the development of important diseases, namely: 1. Alternaria blight cruciferous of head cabbage (in the years 2012-2013) (caused by Alternaria brassicicola) 2. Alternaria leaf spot of carrot (in the years 2012-2013) (caused by Alternaria dauci), and 3. Blight of onion and onion neck rot (in the years 2013-2014) (caused by Peronospora destructor and Botrytis aclada, respectively). The evaluated factors were: variety, crop density (carrot and onion, only), year and location. It is necessary to take into account the earliness of evaluated cultivars that also represents an important aspect of variety resistance to pathogens. In the annex, there are diagrams showing the course of air temperature and air humidity as well as the length of moistening period of leaves at both experimental locations in Troja and Svijansky Újezd in the individual years. Changes of these variables significantly influenced, in interaction with the other factors, the development of phytopathogenic fungi on the infected plants in the individual years.

Insect growth in "jumps": A case study based on morphometric metadata from water bugs (Heteroptera: Gerromorpha, Nepomorpha).
VARAUSOVÁ, Eliška
The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to characterize the growth of water bugs (Heteroptera: Gerromorpha; Nepomorpha), to determine their growth trends and to confront them with the "jump" growth theory. Growth trends were verified on the morphometric metadata drawn from water bugs (Nepomorpha) and semiaquatic bugs (Gerromorpha). The literature review deals with growth in general, insect growth and the characterization of the selected groups of bugs. The main part consists in growth charts generated from metadata, capturing the growth trends, and commenting on these trends on the basis of visual and numeric evaluation. The growth was studied along five dimensions (body length, thigh length of the second and third pair of legs, shin length of the second and third pair of legs). The results confirm that there is a jump in growth, but it is not present in all of the examined species or in all of the examined dimensions. Jump growth of all of the measured dimensions was observed in 33% of the sample. The growth trend is different for each monitored dimension. Distinct jump growth was found more often in body length of individual developmental stages; than in the length of their thighs and shins.

The control of the finances of municipalities
Čepičková, Marie ; Sedmihradská, Lucie (advisor) ; Špinerová, Zuzana (referee)
This thesis deals with control of the finances of municipalities in the Czech republic. In the first part there is based on literature and law review and described the topic. The second and third part of thesis contain the analysis of specific parts of financial control and review of management of municipalities with emphasis on analysis of final findings given by the Ministry of finance of the Czech republic. In the last part of thesis there are closely compared and evaluated information about control of the finances of selected municipalities in Tábor's district. It turned out that control of the finances of municipalities is stable part of municipality's life and it is at a good level overall. The review of management of municipalities is at a higher level than the financial control. The control of municipalities is effective and it does not matter, if it is checked by controller of the Regional autority or by external auditor.

Vliv úrovně odchovu a věku při prvním otelení na výkonnost a dlouhověkost dojnic českého strakatého skotu
VAFEK, Jan
The set includes 1782 heads of culling Czech fleckvieh cattle eliminated from 1 January 2012 to 1 September 2015. Influences on the first calving age, calving interval and lifetime milk yield were detected for data in the set. The following items were integrated among selected lifetime milk yield influences : genotype, herd, first calving age and first calving month. It was also tested whether the age of the first calving of milking cows is influenced by genotype and a herd. The last tested hypothesis was related to the influence of genotype and a herd on the length of the carving interval. The influence of genotype, lactation and the age of first calving cows on the way of elimination was investigated in the set as well. Multi-factor analysis of variance were used for the calculation of differences among the individual tested groups . With respect to statistical significance there was a statistically significant effect (p <0.05)of the herd and genotype on the age of the first calving cows found out. From the set it is evident that cows calved earlier reached better lifetime milk yield than cows calved at the older age (p <0.05). Another statistically significant difference (p <0.05) was found out within the first month of calving. Milking cows calved during colder periods of the year reached the higher lifetime milk yield. The influence of genotype on milk yield was not proved in this set. This also holds to reproductive parametres, there was no influence of genotype and the age of first calving on calving interval. When observing the outcome in terms of how we can positively evaluate the elimination of voluntarily culled milking cows, which is 34% .This situation is significantly lower than it is stated in literature and shows a good zootechnical care of the herds. In terms of elimination method there were the most dairy cows culled because of fertility - 31%. This fact shows that fertility is one of the main factors influencing the managament and profitability of dairy herds of cattle.

Vlnatka krvavá (Eriosoma lanigerum), význam a možnosti její regulace
Klimešová, Lada
The research was performed in vegetation season of year 2014 in apple orchard near Nosislav in Břeclav district. The task was to compare efficiency of two auxiliary preparations and two insecticides, separately or in different combinations. Valuation of efficiency of these preparations in various variants was performed by measuring lengths of colonies of woolly aphid 1.2 and 7 days after application. The trial had been started at 4.6.2014. The most efficient variant was Cocana 1.5% followed by Mospilan 20 SP 0.013% -- Mospilan was applied immediately after applying of Cocana (efficiency 80.2%). Very good results were noticed on variants Mospilan 20 0.013% (efficiency 75.6%), Cocana 2% + Mospilan 20 SP 0,013 % -- tankmix (74.2%), Cocana 2% followed by Mospilan 20 SP 0,013% (68.8%), Cocana 1% followed by Mospilan 20 SP 1% (64.5%). Low efficiency was found out at Cocana 2% followed by Wetcit 0.3% (48.7%). The worst efficiency was by application of Cocana 2% followed by Spintor 0.6 l/ha (13%).

The French Foreign Legion: Building of a New, Common Identity
Janík, Daniel ; Matějka, Ondřej (advisor) ; Perottino, Michel (referee)
The author bases his bachelor thesis "The French Foreign Legion: Building of a New, Common Identity" on the presumption that creating such common identity within the men who join the Legion is one of the main factors ensuring that the Foreign legion functions as a military unit. The neccessity of paying attention to the question of identity in the Legion follows the fact, that this unit consists mainly of foreigners. These men need to be formed during the training in a way that they can become a functional part of the Legion. Observation and analysis of the means of building and maintaining the common identity in the Foreign legion forms the main contents of this thesis. The identity building itself comes in form of procedures that weaken and change the original identity of the legionaries, as well as strengthen the soldiers' loyalty towards the Legion and the sense of brotherhood among legionaries. The identity that the Legion tries to create, is also being constantly fortified by legionary symbols and traditions. However, the loyalty of the soldiers towards the Legion isn't always strong enough, which is reflected in phenomena such a desertions. And even though the Legion functions well despite these problems, the question remains to what extent the buiding of the common legionary identity is the primary...

Spa services for children and adolescents
Martinásková, Marie ; Mlejnková, Lena (advisor) ; Kruisová, Hana (referee)
Medical spa in the Czech Republic has a long tradition. Spa treatment of children and adolescents has its position in the therapeutic process and shows very good results for the chronically ill children. Several changes of the conditions for thermal treatment of children and adolescents have occurred in the Czech legislation. They might affect its future development. The aim of thesis is to provide a comprehensive view on the Czech spa for children and adolescents, analyze its development in recent years, describe its main characteristics and to detect problems in Czech spa for children and adolescents. Spas for children and adolescents have been examined from the perspective of the balneologic institute, health Insurance, association of spas and from the perspective of parents of children. Balneologic institutes for children and adolescents will probably deal with problems in the next years and their further development will not be easy. Uneven capacity utilization, tightening of the rules for complex spa care, reducing length of stay, less repeated stays for some clients and the recent increase in regulatory fees will complicate the future of Czech spas for children and adolescents.

ISO 9001:2008 compatible IT Management System Specification for IS/IT Non-intensive Small Businesses
Lozan, Petr ; Voříšek, Jiří (advisor) ; Pecha, Tomáš (referee)
Information systems and technologies (IT) are ubiquitous and play a significant role in everyday life of people and enterprises. Even the smallest organisations need to be sure, that their information systems are working properly, appropriately support their operations, are cost-effective and comply with regulations and other requirements. The service-based management approach to management of enterprise IT is the most promoted and widely used. But what if this approach is not equally suitable for enterprises of all sizes? This thesis presents an alternative approach to IT management, directly built on requirements of well-known International Standard ISO 9001:2008. For many people who know and understand ISO 9001 and its requirements, it should be easier to use their knowledge about management of quality for managing of IT than learn and implement IT service management and -- probably -- try to find out how to scale service management down to the environment of limited resources which is typical for small businesses. Author describes ISO 9001 as universal management system model and investigates requirements of ISO 9001:2008 related to information technology. Then attention is aimed to existing International Standards for various aspects of IT governance and management. Text describes main content of ISO/IEC 38500 for IT Governance, ISO/IEC 20000 for service management, selected standards from ISO/IEC 27000 series for information security management and ISO/IEC 19770-1 for software asset management. Next chapter shows mainly approach of COBIT5 and COBIT solutions suitable for small businesses -- COBIT Quickstart and COBIT Security Baseline. Last part of text explains, how ISO 9001:2008 was used and adapted to create the main subject of this thesis -- ISO 9001:2008 compatible IT Management System Specification for IS/IT Non-intensive Small Businesses.
