Valuation of the company PENAM, a.s.

Aim of this final thesis is assessment of the objectified value of the company PENAM, a.s. to the date of 1. 1. 2015. The valuation is performed from the perspective of an independent external subject, which means that only public sources are used. Theoretical and methodological part consists of enumeration and explanation of terms, methods and procedures connected with company valuation. Practical part represents application to praxis and includes financial and strategic analysis of the company PENAM, a.s., prognosis of value generators, financial plan till 2018 and the final valution. The discounted cash flows method is used as a main approach using the variant of free cash flows to the firm. There is also the book value and the value gained through V/EBITDA multiple for comparison.

1 Abstrakt Development of stability indicating method for chosen preparation(HPLC determination of benzyl alcohol in vaginal cream) Graduation thesis Klára Chmurová Charles University in Prague, Pharmaceutical Faculty in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drug Control The task was to find out a method of simultaneous determination of benzylkalcohol and imidazol (decomposition product of main substance of cream - clotrimazole). This thesis is intent on determination of benzylalcohol. We were looking for proper modification of the pharmaceutical preparation (vaginal cream), then optimisation of chromatographic conditions and validation of this HPLC method also. The best results were obtained with LiChrosphere RP 18,5 µm column (125 mm x 4,6 mm, SUPELCO, ), methanol : buffer (solution of 250 ml water, 1,05 ml triethylamine and 0,333g natrium hexasulphonate, pH = 7, set up by 85% H3PO4) 30 : 70 (v/v) was used as the mobile phase, flow rate was 1 ml/min. Detection was realised by UV detector with wave length set up on 223 nm. Time of analysis was shorter than 10 min.

The Budget of Europen Union and relation to Structural Funds

European integration means for the member states many duties but on the other hand also many advantages. Among the most significant belongs the possibility to use financial means from EU Budget. The most significant budget items are the structural funds. Structural funds are the financial instrument of regional and structural policy EU with them EU tries to help member states regions to develop. The aim of my works is present the system of functioning EU Budget and also evaluate the system of the financial flows from the budget by the medium of structural funds. I am going to demonstrate this problem on the Czech Republic.

Evaluation approaches of flow inside agitated vessels

The description of main evaluation approaches of flow inside agitated vessels is demonstrated on data obtained by CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and compared with PIV (Particle Image Velocity) data. The results of three methods are presented and evaluated using vortex identification method. The evaluation method effect on calculations of total dissipation energy is discussed.

Applying Discounted Cash Flow Valuation Method to Assess the Investment Project of a Small Russia-Based Company

The aim of the thesis is the determination of investment cash flows generated from Finnish market development activities of a selected Russia-based small company, performing investment valuation using discounted cash flow method and presenting improvements which can rise the attractiveness for potential investors. It includes comprehensive investment valuation of the selected company at the seed stage of its` development, including the overview of current financial situation, usage a valuation model followed by stable growth and terminal value determination. Provided and copulated data serves as an example of complete valuation model for capital injections of future projects in the company, thanks to which the author is able to come to particular conclusions on the funding perspectives for the company. The results obtained through the analysis is assessed through the critical prism to be used as a basis for further suggestions on improvement.

Security inspection of network traffic

Thesis topic concerns the issue of information security in corporate environments. Literature search includes information obtained by studying articles and literature in the field of information security. Resources were selected with a focus on the security risks, security technologies and legislative regulation. Attention is focused on technology that supports monitoring of communication flows in the data network. Overview of traffic operating a data network provides important information for the prevention or investigation of security incidents. Monitoring also serves as a source of information for the planning of the network infrastructure. It can detect faults or insufficient transmission capacity. The practical part is dedicated to implementation of the monitoring system in the real corporate networks. Part of the experience is the analysis of the network structure and choice of appropriate tools for actual implementation. When selecting tools, you can use the scoring method of multicriterial analysis options. The integration of the monitoring system is also the configuration of active network elements. Subsequent analysis of network traffic provides information about the most active users, most used applications or on the sources and targets of data transmitted. It provides a source of valuable information that can be used in case of failure on the network or security incident. The conclusion is a summary of the results and workflow.

Financial analysis of Casia s.r.o.

A financial analysis of Casia s.r.o. company conducted for years 2003 -- 2007. The thesis is conceived for managers (owners), who are involved in a further growth of the firm. Not only standard quantitative methods are used in the paper (percentage analysis, ratios, horizontal and vertical analysis of account statements, cash flow, working capital, economic value added and financial leverage calculation), but also methods for complex assessment of the company: Index IN05, Quick Test. A part of the work is also an intercompany and industry comparison. Proposals for improvements are defined in the conclusion.

The aim of this thesis is to determine the value of Nutrend D.S., a.s. referring to 31st December 2015. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part consists of methodology and theoretical basis, that are used in the practical part afterwards. Before the valuation itself, strategic and financial analysis are included, which are followed by financial plan for the next years. For the purposes of valuation, the discounted cash flow method based on free cash flow to the firm was applied. For comparison, the book value of company was used as minor method.

The goal of this Masters Thesis is to estimate the value of CZC.cz s.r.o. as of 31.12.2016. The goal of estimating the firm value is to evaluate its current financial health based on historical data, which are primarily gathered from the firm annual reports and other official sources. The next step after evaluating the firm current health is to model future financial results based on expert predictions to find out what economic value will the firm bring to its owners, or what is the price for investor to pay for gaining control over the firm. The Thesis contains of two parts: theoretical part and practical part. Theoretical part explains terms, methods and instruments used in evaluation process. Practical part consits the results of analysis and comments, and the result of estimating the firm value based on Discounted Free Cash Flow method. The Thesis ends with conclusion, which summarizes the results of analysis and valuation.
