Project - Organization of Dance Marathon

This bachelor thesis deals with organization of dance marathon. In a theoretical part some terms are characterized, such as a manager, project management and sport marketing. The readers are also given information about dance features and characteristics. I used the survey and SWOT analysis to analyze the present state. Furthermore I deal with preparation and organization of dance marathon including the proposals for its innovation.
Information System for Dance Club

This system has to enable the keeper of the club to correctly organize dance courses and other related actions. It is equipped with editorial system for user-friendly modification of the web presentation. System is platform independent and technologies used are as follows - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL and Apache.
A Course Management Information System with Automated Timetabling

This thesis analyzes the requirements of the dance school on the software produced and designs all layers required for implementation of this product. The product manages courses, their attendees, lectors, places where the courses are held and related financial operations. It also includes an interface for automatical generation of schedules for courses according to the preferences of the dance school and course attendees. This thesis also includes detailed model of database structure, object layer model, user interface designs and describes their implementation. Furthermore this thesis includes description of communication between all parties participating in created solution and feedback from users.
Theory Actions in X Chapters/Actions Theory in X Acts : Talk and Twerk

The result of the project is a short video documentation of reciprocal lesson given by the twerking instructress and the teacher of the rhetoric. We can easily observe how the smart nonverbal choreography of speech is joining the erotically explicit dance. Women bodies are shot by camera during the training. They exercise proper breathing techniques first, then nonverbal expression and finally they try to articulate diverse notions on twerking. After the rhetoric lesson is given, they change the positions of teacher and the person being taught. It's time to learn how to twerk. In the final sequence we can see both women performing short twerk choreography on hip-hop music track made originally for the project.
Vizual Representaion of Selected Electronic Music Styles

This work is the result of the transfer of the author's musical experiences, perceptions and ideas to a static visual form. Selected electronic music styles like Dubstep, Breakbeat, Drumandbass, Trance, Techno, Psytrance have some typical characters that the author tries to capture in visual form. The result is a set of computer work that represent the musical styles and express the author's visual ideas that gets through the listening of the musical styles.
Design of a Holiday Package with the Intention on Sport and Dance

The bachelor thesis reacts on characteristics of contemporary time. We are surrounded by modern technology, our lifestyle is hectic and we are put under high pressure by school, our employee or our surroundings. Being well rested and relaxed is important in such a physical exertion. Even though a lot of Czechs are overweight and work at sedentary job, they prefer to spend their free time actively and sports holidays have increased in popularity. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to design a holiday package that focuses on dance and sports lessons, excursions included. The theoretical part introduces problems of domestic tourism, then deals with problems of creating holiday packages and analyses the field of sport and dance. The end of the theoretical part occupies of market segmentation that is necessary for creating and selling the product. The practical part consists of two chapters. The first one evaluates the results of the research using graphs. The acquired results serve as a basis for the next chapter, which deals with the design of the holiday itself considering wishes and needs of the respondents. The participants of the survey could express their preferences concerning sports and dance lessons and also tourist attractions. The survey inquires the optimal length of the holiday and the season of the year, too. The practical part integrates the characteristics of Nature conservation area Jeseníky where the holiday takes place, followed by the hotel description, its services and lessons description. The holiday package is cost out, the daily schedule and maps of the excursions are included. The survey demonstrates that 83 % of the respondents are interested in such a holiday package. The result shows that Czech tourist agencies should consider selling this kind of product.
The applicability of marketing trends and its exemplification on the phenomenon of twerk

The theoretical part of this thesis describes marketing in the field of culture, particularly dance, and it defines today's Internet world. It focuses on the tools and the most important aspects of current marketing practices. It also defines the dance 'twerk' examining its history, present and also the reasons why it became an international sensation. The practical part is then devoted to a detailed analysis of three subjects - dancer Aneta Antošová, STAGE Prague dance studio and Ballet of the National Theatre Brno. By a comparison of quantitative data of the 'before and after twerk marketing' period the thesis is trying to evaluate the applicability and success of this marketing decision. Qualitative expert interviews with big names of Czech dance and marketing fields are accompanying the analysis.

Support and financing of young people in art in the United States of America Career of professional dancer is one of the ways talented children can live from. The base for being successful dancer is to start in young age and be financially supported by parents. The piece treats of investment recovery of dance art especially in the United States of America, consequently it is compared with dance in the Czech Republic. The first part of this piece consists in description of the styles of dance, dance competitions, TV dance shows and dance opportunities both in the Czech Republic and USA. The second part is economical and deals with costs of dance education, average salary of professional dancers and their parents during the dancers' study. The piece also includes cultural differences in perception of dance carrer in USA and in the Czech Republic.
Analysis of management of the dance internship Dance Without Limits

This thesis focuses on issues related to the organization of cultural projects. The first part is devoted to definitions of project and internship and the specifics of cultural project. The following theoretical point describes the project staffing, strategic planning, marketing, financing and important phases of projects. The management of internship Dance without limits is analyzed in detail in practical part, which is completed with practical knowledge of the organization of this event. This analysis is based not only on information provided by the organizers of this internship, but also from the questionnaire and the author's personal experience from preparing this dance internship. Part of this thesis is also an evaluation of the management of Dance without limits and suggesting possible improvements for the future.
Marketing activities of dance center

The bachelor thesis was aimed to analyse marketing activities of dance center DanceArt PELHŘIMOV, subsequently interpret the outcomes and make suggestions and recommendations to improve it. After outlining the theoretical concept concerning this topic I briefly introduced the dance center, its development, courses and other activities. Then I presented in detail all the marketing activities that are being used. Afterwards I switched to the overall analysis of these activities and presented a survey that I did to receive customer feedback and thus reach more objectivity. Finally, I compiled all the data and interpreted the results. Many of my conclusions are applicable to the dance center in order to improve the marketing activities and boost future development.
