The System of Individual Education in France and in the Czech Republic.

Keywords: homeschooling, alternative of education, traditional school, legislation The fundamental objective of this diploma thesis is exploration and description of the homeschooling in the Czech republic and the France. At the same time, the parallel intention is the comparison of this type of education in theese two countries. We also focus not only on the theoretical arrangement of the homeschooling in the legislation of the both countries, but we also analyse the practical part of it. It is why the inseparable part of this thesis is also the analyse of the concrete practical activities and operations that each family, educating their childs at home, have to completes. From the point of view of the structure of the basic objectives, that is why this thesis is create as the analyse of the homeschooling from the theoretical and practical point of view. The thesis deals with home education. The theoretical part defines the basic terms. The next part defines communication strategy and cooperation between parents and school. The practical part of the thesis is focused on communication between parents and school. This section is considered to be information relating to the information obtained from the questionnaire for parents and teachers. The aim of this work is to find and expand their knowledge of cooperation and cooperation, based on the communication aspects of this cooperation. The results of the evaluation of questionnaires and interviews are evaluated by research questions and assumptions. Social emotional competencies of home-educated children

My thesis deals with level of socially emotional competence of home educated children. In theoretical part I present concept of individual education and disputation of various authors on this subject, characterize development period of young school age and present theoretical delimitation of both test methods that I use for data collection. Empirical part consist of elaborate comparison of output of two groups of children aged 8 - 10 years, each group consist of 5 respondents. First group is constituted of children that are home educated more than one year. Second group include children attending regular educational institution and meet the conditions I determined for pair comparison. Main methods for data collection are the Intelligence and Development Scales (IDS) and my own initiative material made of seven photographs, that are evaluated with the Scale of Social Orientation (SOS). Results are processed qualitatively. I compare individual pair of children from exploratory and control group followed by summary comparison. Then I analyze content of answers. Acquired results don't imply any significant differences in performance of exploratory and control group. Home schooling as a contemporary alternative stream

This diploma thesis deals with the homeschooling of pupils at the first level of primary schools, its rules and history in Czech Republic. It focuses on the reasons that lead to this type of education and describes its positive and negative influences. It also offers insights from teachers who review the child in homeschooling and the views of families who have decided for this type of education.
Development of Aesthetic Perception in the Context of Pre-School Home Education.

Bachelor thesis deals with the problem of development of aesthetic feeling through the creation of art and reception of works of art within the framework of home (or also "individual") education in preschool and younger school age. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical concept of home education in general, the historical background of home education in the Czech Republic (briefly compared to the situation in other countries) and finally the legislative background of home education in the Czech Republic. It also defines the age categories of pre-school and younger school age and characterizes them. Then the thesis further clarifies the concepts of "aesthetic education" and "aesthetic feeling" and their correspondence with curricular documents for pre-school and primary education. The empirical part presents interviews with parents who educate their children at home. The aim of this research was to gain a deeper insight into the form and structure of aesthetic education focused on the reception and creation of works of art within home education in the Pilsen Region. The aim was to find out what (didactic and material) techniques, tools and methods of creation and presentation of visual art works are used in this type of education. The second aim was to observe specific aspects of the "hidden curriculum" of home preschool aesthetic education in the form of other circumstances that affects the children's reception of artworks (such as a gallery visit etc.). At the end of the empirical part of the thesis is presented a practical proposal for a program of development of aesthetic feeling, intended for children in home education.
Implementation of health education for alternatively educated children

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to find out, how are alternatively educated children between 6-12 years of age being taught health and care in their home schooling or in a community. Furthermore, it addresses the broadness of their education, what the topics are within the scope of the health and care education and how much time they are given. It focuses mainly on finding out what the interest is in regard of these topics such as family relationships, personal safety, healthy eating, sport and healthy movement, prevention of using addictive substances and social behaviour. At the same time, it considers the difference between preferences of boys and girls regarding each topic. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part, it addresses the delimitation of terms such as alternative education and health and care education of a child between 6-12 years of age. The empirical part focuses on evaluating the information acquired through a questionnaire. It brings practical knowledge in relation to each topic of health and care education. Questionnaire survey collected data from 100 individual educators and from 100 educated children, including 50 girls and 50 boys. The outcome of the survey is formulated into easy-to-follow graphs and charts with a comment. The overview of the outcome is included in a following discussion and in the conclusion.
Worldschooling as an alternative model of education

This thesis's aim is to unite the worldschooling information available, show different educational models in various countries where it would be the easiest to execute for Czech families, suggest an advancement and an example of such education. Further on detect its benefits and weaknesses. The main contribution of the thesis lays in the comparison of the obvious benefits such as unworldliness, overview, or extensive progression in the field of language or geography as well as the negatives of such upbringing such as uprooting, instability or social isolation. Later on the latent advantages and disadvantages shall arise from the research part which will be focused on interviews with families already practising worldschooling. To meet the goals, specialized literature will be used, prevailingly a foreign one, most of all however using naratives. Home education for primary school in Czech Republic

This Master's thesis deals with homeschooling in primary school students in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part provides information of homeschooling as an alternative to fulfilling compulsory school attendance. This thesis is answering questions about the history of homeschooling in the Czech Republic, its development in our country, the way home education works, what are the reasons for choosing home education, what are its positives, negatives and risk factors. And in the end the thesis is also concentrating on homeschooling in secondary school or information how home education works in the world. The research section deals with two areas. The first area is devoted to quantitative research - a survey among students of teaching. The second area is high-quality research - this area deals with case studies. The aim of the research part of the diploma thesis is to find out the opinion, experience and awareness of the given topic from the study among the students of the who are training to be teachers. Using interviews and observations to analyze how the relevance, opportunities and risks of home education are changing from a time perspective.
