Analysis of the impacts of government regulation in the purchase of electricity from renewable energy resources with focus on photovoltaic power
Krchová, Eva ; Louda, Jiří (advisor) ; Petrášek, František (referee)
The aim of bachelor thesis is to analyze the impact of government regulation in the purchase of electricity from renewable energy resource, with a focus on photovoltaics. The work will familiarize you with the steps that artificially created photovoltaic boom, and it will analyze in detail the reasons for changes in purchase prices, the reasons for the imposition of additional taxes, and impact of these changes. The method used to obtain data for this work is the analysis of literature, as well as an interview with the investor in photovoltaic devices and corporate data provided by him. In the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis it deals with the energy legislation in the Czech Republic. It also acquaints the reader with an effort to develop renewable sources within the EU. The final practical part examined the impact of the regulation by the state to consumers -- if due to regulation there is an increase of price of electricity, and furthermore, what impact regulation has on a particular company, its realized investment and return on investment after the application of new legislative measures. Whether in this particular case it exceeds the state-guaranteed payback period 15 years.
Hybrid Lamps Installation in the Czech Republic
Malafová, Martina ; Dvořáček, Jiří (advisor) ; Pajer, Petr (referee)
The aim of the paper "Instalace hybridních lamp v České republice" is to reflect on the worldwide phenomenon of renewable energy and its usage in everyday life in the form of a street lighting. Hybrid lamps are particular for the combination of the wind and solar power they generate thanks to the wind turbine and photovoltaic panels they carry. In order to evaluate their possible installation in the Czech Republic the business plan is viewed from four different perspectives - technological, economic, ecological and legal.

Legal aspects of installation and persuit of solar energy
Jurmanová, Lucie ; Štěpánek, Petr (advisor) ; Černý, Pavel (referee)
This Bachelor Thesis deals with the legal issues concerning the instalation and operation of solar energy sources. It is a quite complex domain of legislations, ordinances and regulations. The objective is to analyze this topic from legal point of view as well as from the practical application of this matter. This Bachelor Thesis describes premises of photovoltaics, government institutions and monopolistic distribution companies. A logical follow-up is the interpretation of applicable laws and ordinances, its practical excercise and the following legal procedure while constructing solar collectors. There has been major legal development concerning this issue during the year 2010 and therefore the Bachelor Thesis summarizes current situation and changes that have been made this year.
Solar energy
Růžičková, Iveta ; Slavíková, Lenka (advisor) ; Jílková, Jiřina (referee)
One of the main features of the energetic policy of the European Union is the increasing percentage of renewable resources of energy. It is expected that by 2020 renewable resources will have increased to 20% in the European Union and renewable resources should reach 8% of the gross electric power consumption in the CR. Nowadays there are more technologies for energy production using renewable resources. Solar power stations are not widely used in the Czech Republic. Why is solar energy, if compared with other resources, used at the very minimum? Are there any economic conditions for the use of solar energy in the Czech Republic, considering the present technologies? Is that a perspective renewable resource of energy? This work informs about the present state of the use of solar energy in the Czech Republic, about the government interventions, about the economic and geographic conditions of solar energy in our republic, and the perspective of the use of solar power stations is evaluated.
