Summary of occupational therapy tests with possible use in testing dyspraxia
Holubová, Kateřina ; Demeková, Júlia (advisor) ; Zounková, Irena (referee)
The aim of the thesis was to find occupational therapy tests, or part thereof which could be used to test various inputs perception function of CNS. In cooperation with child and adult occupational therapists from Motol Hospital were researched occupational therapy various standardized tests designed to test children and adults. The intervention in Occupational Therapy for children with perception disorder of body schema
Smrčková, Andrea ; Ředinová, Barbora (advisor) ; Krivošíková, Mária (referee)
This thesis deals with process of body scheme, its disorders in childhood and the possibility of influencing, mainly due to the sensory integration. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a synoptic manual on processing of body scheme from the perinatal period when the creating of body scheme is an indispensable component, to neonatal, infant and toddler age, when the possibilities of influencing the disorders are the most effective and provide good results. The thesis is divided into two parts; one is theoretical and the other practical. The theoretical part describes the commonly used terms relating to the body and body perception, perception development, specific diagnoses, where the body image disorder is present, methods of evaluation and therapy. The practical part describes two case studies of preschool children diagnosed with dyspraxia, in which the body scheme disorder is analyzed. For practical knowledge there is an importance of proper physiological perception and negative impacts of disturbances on motor skills in all areas. Key words: Occupational therapy, body scheme, dyspraxia, Sensory Integration, process of body scheme
Possibilities of partial functions development in the first class of elementary school
Hroudová, Irena ; Felcmanová, Lenka (advisor) ; Durdilová, Lucie (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with pupils' possibilities of partial functions development in the first class of elementary school. The theoretical part defines the basic terms and it introduces the definitions in the field of specific dysfunctions of learning. It also deals with a possible diagnostics of the specific dysfunctions. The thesis describes crucial partial functions in the relation to school skills acquirement and it presents the partial function theory as one of the causes in difficulties in reading and writing acquirement. The practical part analyses the results of the diagnostics which was realized in the first grade at elementary school. This diagnostics was aimed to chosen partial functions and the results were taken before and after the exercises aimed to partial functions development.
Assessment of motor activity in children with autism by inertial sensors - Method of measurement and its utilization in diagnostic
Nývltová, Lucie ; Komárek, Vladimír (advisor) ; Zounková, Irena (referee)
Autism belongs to developmental pervasive disorders. Primary symptoms of autism include failure in communication, social interaction and imagination. Other symptoms are abnormalities in physical activity manifested by delays in motor development, stereotyped movements, postural instability, impaired in imitation and dyspraxia. These symptoms already come up in the first years of life. The first diagnosis of autism used to be made between 2nd and 3rd year of life, however if the diagnosis could be based on physical symptoms, it would be possible to establish the diagnosis earlier. The work presents a method of measurement by inertial sensors that could be used to assess physical activity of autistic children.

Final work "Interaction between speech and motion of a schoolgirl with developmental dysphasia" is focusing on finding in which way are speech and movement skill interacting specifically in the case of a school-girl with serious developmental dysphasia. In its theoretical part I'm focusing at first on the term disturbed communication ability, development dysphasia, its symptomatology and then at the term verbal development dyspraxia. Important information concerning this dilemma are also listed in second chapter which focuses on the problem of reading, process of mastering of reading and writing with understanding. The third chapter of the theoretical part is focusing on characteristics of terms as movement, motoric acts, coordination and also dyspraxia. I based the practical part on testing of children of the third grade at usual basic school as well as at the basic logopaedia school, which is attended also by the school-girl with serious development dysphasia I've been observing and monitoring. I created two different tests. First about reading with understanding and then second one about movement abilities. Their goal was to find in which way are reading and movement abilities interacting. In the end of my work I'm summarizing all the gathered findings, I'm also comparing results of testing...
