Aggressive behaviour of pupils at Czech schools

My work is dealing with aggressive behaviour of pupils at Czech schools. After introducing significant theories of aggressivity of the 20th century, it is mainly focusing on meaning of a classroom climate as the main factor influencing the whole problem addressed above. The main emphasis is put on the teacher's authority and creating classroom rules of behaviour. In the last part, the central topic is competence of the teacher, not only in connection with the pupil's aggressive behaviour, but also its duration in the time of still higher requirements linked to the role of a teacher.
Weapon (not only) as a work of art

The aim of this thesis is to introduce various types of weapons, not only as objects of everyday use, but also as objects which are of high artistic value. The aim is to introduce the phenomenon of arms not only as objects, which are designed for different types of practical applications, but also as a fine art and artifacts with the aesthetic and functional value. The main method for the production of this thesis was to study literature and other texts, or materials related to the given topic. The thesis is divided into several chapters by type of weapon (cold, firearms) and by continents, where the weapons occurred. Then I focused my research on the phenomenon of arms in the film industry, and the question of arms and related violence and also the issue of preventing violence, bullying and crime. The purpose of this bachelor work is to introduce a small-arms not only as an object for various kinds of practical utilization, but also to afer on thein values from the point of their perception as an art artefact in the linkup on their development in different cultures. It directs also on the region of Japan and samurai swords with reference on their sociocultural value. In the part dedicated to the hand weapons it introduces a history of their creation and methods of their division. In the last part presents the weapon as a device used in the movie industry and in the computer games in the linkup on a weapon presentation as an item of the violence in an up to date society. One of the targets of this bachelor work about weapons is an analyse of the social pathological event of the shooting in the schools so called "school shooting", which becomes very extended phenomen of current days. Work points on the possibilities and reasons of the origin of this phenomen by revealing a possible offender profile and further I introduce a concepts of the school shooting prevention in the linkup on the posibility to reveal potencial offender in time. It is intended as a qualitative study; opinions of the schoolchildren regarding aggression serve as the main material for the research. This is considered on three levels: in nature (among animals), in society (among people) and also among the pupils themselves. The metaphor of the human animal is used to describe the aggressive behaviour of a person, as well as a starting attitude towards aggression. This is here understood as a naturally good quality of people. The study is presented as an active study of 6th grade pupils. I also hereby present the idea of the socially preventative didactic project in artistic education with the theme of aggression; thus also presenting its history and results. Aggression in Primary School

HITKOVÁ, Eva. Aggression in Primary Schoul [Thesis]. Prague: Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Education, 2010. The diploma thesis focuses on issues of aggression and aggressiveness of children in nursery school. The aim is to monitor the incidence, causes and manifestations of aggressive behavior in preschool children. The work is divided into ten main chapters. First, focus on the characteristics of the psyche of a preschool age and a child's socialization. It concentrates on the theory, explanation of key concepts and definitions of aggression. An integral part of this work is a list of causes and manifestations of aggression in children in nursery school. Within these chapters it tries to understand and analyze the influences affecting the preschool children and their behavior. In the empirical part, it deals with the investigation and detection of actual aggression and aslo the aggression in today's nursery school in preschool children. The survey was conducted by an observation of children in nursery school. The results were recorded and further processed into tables and graphs. Level of legal defence of a paramedic in practice

Members of the ambulance teams of Emergency Medical Services are increasingly becoming victims of assaults by patients, their close relatives or passers-by. Many of them does not end with only verbal threat or insult, but also with direct physical confrontations that affect not only the quality of pre-hospital care provided, but also the physical and psychological state of the crew members. On the contemporary risk of reprisal attacks aren't members of the Emergency Medical Service adequately prepared, equipped and mainly protected by law. Emergency Medical Service occupies a specific position with respect to powers and duties, which means to the level of legal protection in the same position as the basic components of the integrated rescue system. The theoretical part deals with the current level of legal protection of paramedic in practice. The beginning of work briefly defines and characterizes pre-hospital emergency care, which is the subject of daily activities of Emergency Medical Services. The analysis of laws listed the competencies of paramedic, then analysis of rights and obligations during the provision of pre-hospital care, but also offered a view of the recent changes in the legal protection or outlined the legal inequalities in Integrated Rescue System. The work also defined the risks of field emergency work and causes of aggression, which is causing attacks. The theoretical part is closed by chapter dealing with the consequences of the attacks themselves, which are taking their toll on the quality of pre-hospital care and the physical and mental state of paramedics. Introduction of practical part is dedicated to the processed statistical surveys. For the verification of research questions and for meeting the objective of this thesis was done supporting statistical surveys in order to determine the frequency of attack of paramedics in the individual regional emergency medical services in the period from 2010 to 2014, i.e. since amendment of the Criminal Code, which changed legal protection of paramedics. The aim is to evaluate the legal protection of paramedics in providing pre-hospital care and propose measures to improve its protection. The chosen research question determines what resources can be used to enhance the protection of paramedics For the practical part of the work was used the Region of South Bohemian, which was used for the qualitative method of data collection using structured interviews and subsequent analysis of data. Data collection was done through structured interviews and the sample consisted of 10-attackedparamedics in all regional centres of Emergency Medical Services in Region of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Český Krumlov, Jindřichův Hradec, Písek, Prachatice, Strakonice and Tábor. As the respondents' answers fixation method was used audio recording, followed by transcription of the audio into written form. By summarizing data obtained from structured interviews was carried The SWOT analysis based on the comparison of the internal and external environment in order to evaluate the legal protection in practice. From the percentages of the individual areas of the SWOT analysis has been chosen, for the needs of the work, WO strategy, which is aimed at eliminating weaknesses using the opportunities. From the apparent results of the level of legal protection, which is also demonstrated by the worsening prognosis of processed survey in the practical part from which is monitored an increase of attacks were in response suggested means to increase the legal protection of paramedics, which aim to minimize attacks on outreach EMS crew.
Aggression and bullying, its symptoms and prevention in the school surroundings

This bachelor work in its theoretical part clarifies the basic concepts as example of aggression, bullying, its causes, conditions, symptoms and prevention. As next are characterized the sides involved in the act of bullying. Practical part is focused on the quantitative research. By the questionnaire survey to find out whether the pupils do understand and can solve the symptoms of bullying. The goal of the work as itself was to show the issue of aggression and bullying in the school surroundings.
Bullying of children and youth and the prevention possibilities

The topic of my bachelor thesis is "Bullying of children and youth and the prevention possibilities". The theoretical part of the thesis deals with aggression, the definition of bullying, characteristics of victims and aggressors too, cyberbullying and prevention. Quantitative research and method of questioning are used in the practical part. For data gathering the method of questionnaires was used. The aim of this work is to introduce the issue of bullying and to find out how children and young people feel threatened and bullied, and how well they know possibilities necessary to protect themselves from the danger of attacks at school and on the Internet.
A nurse´s work in the care of clients in the home with the special regime.

The house with the special programme is an institucion providing specific services for the people with mental disorders, while respecting their rights and individual needs of them. This bachleor thesis pays attention to the work of nurse, who is taking care for the clients just in a such type of institution. It is focused on the specific care and the risks which are connected with its role. In the houses there are placed mainly clients with diagnosis as Schizophrenia, Alzheimer's disease or mental retardation. These diseases bring reduction of self-sufficience and self-control which family is not able to provide by itself. At these institutions we can often meet with the aggressive behaviour of client, going hand in hand with some of the noticed diseases. From the reason of specific care, which can appear in the work with the mental diseased clients and risks beginning here. It's necessary, that the nurses which are working in these houses are enough informed, self-reliant and well educated. Bachleors thesis is divided into two parts, both are theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, there is description of the care history for mentally ill persons, further, there are named the present forms of care for mentally ill people and there is a short description of distribution of mental illnesses also. From the spectrum of diseases which are possible were chosen three of them Schizophrenia, Alzheimer´s disease and mental retardation. These were chosen for their highest representation in the houses with the special programme. Two goals were determined for treating of this thesis. Detection of the specifics of the nurses' work according to the care for clients in the house with the specific programme and identification of risks of the nurses' work, connected with the specific care for clients with mental disorder. For treating of this chosen topic, there was picked the qualitative method of research with the help of the semi-structual dialogue and the involved hidden observation. Practical part of thesis contains results, of the qualitative method of research, which were obtained from the dialogues with seven registrated nurses working in the house with the special programme. Nurses had various length of practice with the mentally ill clients in an interval 2-25 years. They were in the age of 35-52 years. Two interviewed nurses in the House Libníč and CSS Empatie, remaining five nurses in CSS Emausy. Both these institution are registred as the house with the special programme. Answers of the nurses were treating into two categories. Specific access of nurse and the risks for her in the house with the special programme. Every category was divided into sub-categories. The result of it was, that the specific access for the nurse is such a type of behaviour of staff, that is directed at the quiet and pleased life of client. As specific, the nurses see managing of aggression of client, activization at the house, work and duties of the key-employee and there is very special communication with the mentally ill client. Nurses expressed on the changes in the house with the special programme too. In the second category were nurses asked about the risks for them in these houses. It was found out, that the risks, termed by nurses, is aggression and negative influence of this work with mentally ill clients to psychical condition of nurse. In the dialogues, there haven´t been noticed any advantages or disadvantages for the nurses, who are engaged in these diseased.
Aspects of social communication with clients in crisis situations

The aim of this thesis is to resolve conflicts in crisis situations. The topic will be addressed from the perspective of negotiating parties. Bachelor thesis in theoretical part will deal with the various concepts of selected issues, crisis negotiation, as part of a specific crisis communication, specifics of various crisis situations, tasks negotiator, negotiation and training. It also focuses on extremely complex a serious communication activities associated with overcoming a difference of opinion in the direction of the agreement, respectively. Solve hostage situations to provide guidance on how to survive through appropriate communication. The practical part deals with the number of cases handled negotiations in practice for the years 2007-2013 in the South Region, based on statistical data, followed by an analysis of communication -intensive situations where through individual case studies examining the typology of crises, typology of individual perpetrators, their motivation, mental state instead of negotiating, the first contact with the negotiator, critical moments in the negotiations, a way to end the incident and in the end the author formulates the most important principles in negotiations communication management practices in crisis situations .
