Public Tenders in EU: Statistics and Overview
Kurka, Vojtěch ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to provide well-arranged statistics and surveys about tenders in the European Union. Statistics and surveys are visualized as graphs, textual informations and different kinds of maps. Those statistics are based on data from corresponding EU information system and stored in MySQL database. In advance these data are offered to others in machine readable format. Easy understanding and mainly graphical representation of data is the most important part. All statistics are accessible via web pages optimized for the most common web browsers.
System for Information Processing Information of Flexo Printer
Appl, Martin ; Ščuglík, František (referee) ; Ráb, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerning about research and evaluation of data collecting possibilities from Soma engineering flexo printing machines. Design and testing of system prototype is also discussed. Software is using FTP protocol for communication. There are two possibilities for data storage. First are XML files and second is database connection through ODBC driver. Graph and numeric representation is used for presenting information. System have been built on wxWidgets library.
Monitoring of User Activities on Workstations
Skopal, Aleš ; Ráb, Jaroslav (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with proposal of a system for monitoring of user activities on workstations Windows XP over .NET 2.0 platform. The system should monitor running programs, processes and find out user activities in these programs like movement of the mouse or writing on the keyboard. A part of whole project is a suggestion of the system which contains specifications of requirements for this system, creation of the architecture, creation of important models, suggestion of the communication between separated part of system and final compile of results. The project should get information about user's activities and also information about usage of software installed on these workstations. The final system will be tested by use case study. Last but not least, project deals with ethic questions in the context of monitoring of users and discuss law questions about this project.
Software for Sociological Research of the Relationship of Children to Computer Games
Hercová, Světlana ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis investigates different aspects of children's computer game world. In the opening chapters are described available computer games for kids, which are split into groups. After that follows theoretical introduction to the problems of sociological research and advantages of using computer and Internet for it. On the basis of observation are introduced three types of applications for investigation of children's interest and abilities in computer games and parents opinions. Two of them were already used for investigation within this thesis. Thesis also presents results of realized survey.
Automatic Weather Forecast Station
Kraicinger, Lukáš ; Šátek, Václav (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
Thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part provides a brief overview of current sensors for professional weather stations and a list of affordable sensors and control units. The practical part describes the design and realization of a prototype station including processing and presentation of measured data. The thesis contains the source files and electronic wiring diagrams.
Energy Intensity Reduction of a Professional Laundry Care Process
Bobák, Petr ; Klemeš,, Jiří (referee) ; Noskievič, Pavel (referee) ; Stehlík, Petr (advisor)
Doctoral thesis deals with professional laundry care process and reduction of energy intensity and use of other operational commodities used in the process. Professional laundry care process is a specific energy intensive process; its purpose is to re-establish original properties of the now dirty laundry so that it may fulfil its functions again. This is basically a recycling and regeneration process comprising many sub-operations. Key operation is washing of the laundry in a washing bath, which removes impurities from the laundry. This thesis describes the most common technology of impurities removal, which is washing in a hot washing bath in cooperation with mechanical work and detergents. However, all of the described procedures may also be applied on alternative technologies, such as ozone washing, washing with low-temperature enzymes and ultrasound. Water is applied in all these technologies as a soaking agent. Water must have appropriate properties and must be removed from the laundry after the washing process in subsequent operations (drying, ironing, and pressing). Theoretical introduction of the thesis describes professional laundry care process in detail, and continues with mathematical modelling of the process and its main sub-operations (washing, drying) using mass and heat balance, and data acquisition and their application in research and development. Thesis further describes design of information system on the basis of relational database controlled by web application. This system enables to organize data and information from various sources – measured experimental data, data concerning measurement devices, operational records of machines, etc. Thesis further proposes how to evaluate and reduce energy intensity of a process. Descriptions are validated by examples and case studies. Key section of the thesis is a chapter describing experimental infrastructure. This infrastructure integrates several instalments of laundry equipment and is a fully functional operation of industrial laundry facility with 500kg/shift capacity, which serves as a model of energy intensive process. Sophisticated infrastructure and data acquisition system allows measuring wide spectrum of physical entities and examining factors influencing energy intensity of processes, and relationships between these factors as well as effectiveness of various savings measures in real life facilities.
Measurement and analysis of dynamic properties of rotating machine parts
Gofroň, Vojtěch ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Houška, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis focuses on measurement and analysis of shaft motion, torque, angular velocity and vibration. First part of the thesis deals with general issue of acquiring a digital signal. Next part describes suitable sensors for each measurement type, and data acquisition hardware. The last theoretical part describes methods for measurement data analysis and vibration diagnostics. Practical part of the thesis describes shaft motion and torque measurements made on laboratory equipment, and vibration measurement made on real machine system. Each measurement includes measurement data analysis and evaluation.
Data acquisition by Zigbee wireless technology
Kubíček, Lukáš ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Koutný, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with a ZigBee wireless technology and focuses on the potential use in the sensor networks. This thesis addresses both the structure and basic properties of ZigBee standard and possible use of this application in practice. The main part of this work is implementation of the sensor networks using ZigBee development kit of Jennic company. As an example of the practical use of ZigBee technology this network is connected to a computer in which data is collected from each sensor using the database and then through a PHP script presented on the Internet. Problem solving in this thesis focuses primarily on the simplicity and universality of the resulting applications.
SOFTWARE FOR LOAD TESTS OF EL.MOTORS-data acquisiton from temp.sensors systems (RS232,USB,PCI DAQ) and power analyzer (GPIB) in LabView.
Čípek, Radek ; Hejč, Tomáš (referee) ; Nesvadba, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the creation of a program for collecting data from three optional systems of temperature sensors (RS232, USB and PCI DAQ), torque shaft and a power analyzer (GPIB) in LabVIEW. The implementation of the results to Excel by the automatic periodical writing of the gained data (LabVIEW › Excel).
Excercises for Data Acquisition for BEMS course
Novotný, Marek ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Čejka, Miloslav (advisor)
The content of this thesis is to understand a field of data acquisition. There is explained what it is data acquisition and also there are described frequently used terms and principles, which belong to this theme. We have to understand how to get useful information from a specific physical effect or event; how can be this information processed or represented. A part of this thesis describes hardware side of this mechanism – the most used buses and measuring systems, cards and modules belonging to it. There are also described used developing and measuring programmes, their features and system of output of applications besides. In the thesis we can see which tasks can use data acquisition, which problems can appear and we have to know about them. As an example of the whole data acquisition there are showed two tasks which are worked out in system of LabVIEW. Both tasks work with real mechanisms so they get real data and we can work with them further.
