Assessment of methods of accessibility analysis of sociogegraphical regions in Czechia
Navrátil, Jan ; Hudeček, Tomáš (advisor) ; Schneider, Michal (referee)
The aim of diploma thesis is to compare methods of accessibility analysis in regions. The result of the analysis must cover only the region itself and not to overlap the neighbouring regions. This condition must be valid for every single region in the multi region system. The first part of the thesis deals with the methods which make the analysis possible. There are described their main characteristics and their advantages and disadvantages. The core part of the thesis consists of the detailed description of the functions and the approaches in the models and scripts, which were based on the methods identified in the former part. The methods are evaluated by the broad use of the models and scripts with various data samples. For every method is found an applicable use. The results are basis for the further inquires and questions eventually leading to the better understanding and the enhancement of the current approaches in that matters.
Database of Hand Poses for Skeletal Animation of Human Characters
Vojtěch, Tomáš ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with the skeletal animation and with the development of a plugin for Autodesk MotionBuilder. The aim was to create a tool that allows the animators to automate the process of animation and thereby greatly reduces the time requirements. The result is a tool that allows capturing, storing, applying and sharing hand poses for the purpose of reusability of already created gestures. The plugin is implemented in Python.
Methodology of coordinate system setup for optical measuring device Pontos
Volek, Aleš ; Drápela, Miloslav (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
The graduation thesis deals with invention of detailed definition of the coordinate system for Pontos system. The solution is based on suitable localization method of the point on a car body, whose coordinates are known from CAD data. First part of the thesis describes the design of adapter which determines the reference point. Software solution is presented in second part. Contribution of the work and accuracy of the method are discussed in the end.
AI techniques in algorhitmic trading
Šmejkal, Oldřich ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Berka, Petr (referee)
Diploma thesis is focused on research and description of current state of machine learning field, focusing on methods that can be used for prediction and classification of time series, which could be then applied in the algorithmic trading field. Reading of theoretical section should explain basic principles of financial markets, algorithmic trading and machine learning also to reader, which was previously familiar with the subject only very thoroughly. Main objective of application part is to choose appropriate methods and procedures, which match current state of art techniques in machine learning field. Next step is to apply it to historical price data. Result of application of selected methods is determination of their success at out of sample data that was not used during model calibration. Success of prediction was evaluated by accuracy metric along with Sharpe ratio of basic trading strategy that is based on model predictions. Secondary outcome of this work is to explore possibilities and test usability of technologies used in application part. Specifically is tested and used SciPy environment, that combines Python with packages and tools designed for data analysis, statistics and machine learning.
Konstrukce fotopasti pomocí počítače RaspBerry Pi
ŠVÁB, Daniel
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a functional photo trap using the platform of oneboard computer Raspberry Pi version 2. Photo trap is going to be used as CCTV or Security camera which také a photo every time it recognizes a movement. When the photo is taken, Raspberry Pi sends it to owner´s e-mail address and a notification about a movement detection is sent via Pushetta app to his mobile.
Porting of Prawn Library from Ruby to Python 3
Molhanec, Michal ; Pícka, Marek (advisor) ; Mikoláš, Mikoláš (referee)
This work focuses on automatic translation of code written in Ruby programming language into Python 3. First part investigates principles of computer programming languages translation as is described in the literature. Second part compares elements of these two programming languages and suggests ways how these elements can be translated. Based on this theory I developed Ruby-to-Python translator. Its working is demonstrated on the translation of the Prawn library for generating PDF files.
Monitoring Network Services in Internet
Styblík, Zdeněk ; Vasilenko, Alexandr (advisor) ; Rostislav, Rostislav (referee)
Diploma thesis deals with design and implementation of solution for monitoring servers and services over the Internet in combination with application for monitoring, Nagios. Common solutions are presented and evaluated first and serve as basis for design and implementation of a custom solution. Some of existing solutions were used, eg. HTTP protocol, others were developed, eg. scripts to automatically change Nagios configuration. Alternative solution for monitoring servers and services is the result of this diploma thesis.
Information System of an Orienteering Section
Hadač, Filip ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis is devoted to a designation and realisation of the information system of orienteering club in Opava.
