The Strategy of the Entrance of UJP PRAHA a.s. company into the Foreign Markets

The topic of this thesis is the commercial strategy of the company UJP PRAHA a.s. for trading in foreign markets, or possibly for entering new markets. The thesis generally deals with the company's commercial policy including the analysis of competitors, the list of methods of the products selling and promotion and also the brief overview of market needs. Another part of the thesis contains the analysis of sales opportunities showing the most perspective territories for trading. Finally it concludes with a proposition of concrete recommendations leading to the sales increase and the future position of the company in the world markets.
Analysis of the development of activities of Skoda Auto company on the UK market

The topic of this diploma thesis is the analysis of activities of the Czech biggest automotive producer, Skoda Auto company, on the UK market. The thesis maps historical development of the Skoda Auto's activities in that country, goes into the company's chosen growth strategy and provides an analysis of weaknesses and suggestions for possible improvements, which could lead to strengthening of Skoda Auto's position on that market. The first chapter is dedicated to the presentation of Skoda Auto company, outlining the historical development of that car maker and describing of importance, which has that company and also the whole automotive industry for the Czech Republic. The chapter also analyses the sales situation on other markets and the company's global growth strategy. The second chapter focuses on the British market. At first it researches the economic background of the country and then the automotive market. Historical development, current situation and the competition of Skoda Auto are analysed afterwards. The third chapter analyses more deeply Skoda Auto's activities on the UK market. It deals with the historical development of the company's operation in that country, analyses in detail the current growth strategy, which is implemented from 2011 to 2015. The chapter analyses the four main pillars of the strategy, sales, marketing, dealer network and aftersales, and the fulfilment of the objectives, which were set for the previous year. After that it provides the proposals for the possible improvement and steps that the company could take to consolidate its position on that market.

Bachelor thesis focuses on the effects of globalization on different areas of the Czech automotive industry. The thesis characterizes the phenomenon of globalization in general and specifically from the perspective of the world's automobile production. It also records the history and development of automotive production in the Czech Republic. The thesis captures the Czech automotive industry in details, where the impact of globalization caused significant changes in the last two decades. From an economic point of view it concentrates on the impact of these changes on the overall role of the automotive industry in the economy of the CR. At the end of the bachelor thesis there is view of the current situation in the various car factories of the Czech automotive industry.
Importance of the concept - Fair Trade for developing countries

In this Bachelor thesis, I describe the formation and origin of the Fair Trade movement, way in which it operates, aspects which it brings on the market and the basic characteristics of trade with the most important Fairtrade commodities. Firstly, I focus on the general identification of kinds of products included in Fair Trade and afterwards I characterize the fair trading of four most significant crops among all: coffee, bananas, cocoa and cotton. Objective of the thesis is above all to create an image defining the present situation at three different Fair Trade markets: in the United Kingdom, Czech Republic and Slovakia. From the general outline of success of the movement in the world I continue with deeper detailing of above mentioned markets. From this definition I deduce particularities of Fair Trade performance in each country. Furthermore, I analyze the causes of the exact situation on every market. From the discovered indications I evaluate, if further development of the concept on those markets would be meaningful also in the future and what should be improved for its better effectiveness. In conclusion I briefly analyze the general conditions needed for successful implementation of Fair Trade.
Benefit analysis of Sales representative for a selected company with a focus on a traditional market

The aim of this thesis is to analyze benefits of Sales representative for a chosen company. As an Intern in the position of Sales representative in Procter&Gamble (in cooperation with p.k. Solvent), which is leader in the market, had the author chance to meet the organisation of direct sales and is offering thus to the reader of this thesis a successful model of direct sales, which is used in this company. First two captures are based on theoretical point of view of this matter. Further parts describe methods, which are used in P&G (p.k. Solvent). In those are companies described as a whole and give figure about organization of sales and pillar of the work of Sales representative -- Seven steps of business appointment. Next captures are oriented on an example which was taken from the month July 2010. Author is in the last part evaluating and summing up the real benefits of Sales Representative and is also suggesting possible ways for improvement. This thesis is mainly dedicated for a managers or companies who are thinking about implementing of direct sales model as an instrument of sales and also for team leaders who are already leading a group of SR.
The current position of Volvo Cars in automobile industry with focus on its future in relation to the new owner

My bachelor thesis focuses on the current economic situation of Volvo Cars and my aim was deep analysis of its position on the global and Czech market. This work also shortly foreshadows predicted development under the new Chinese owner and I tried to specify potential pros and cons resulting from this acquisition.
The discount phenomenon at the beginning of the new millennium

This bachelor's thesis aims to research into the consumer behaviour with respect to sales and discounts. The theoretical part provides the definition of consumer behaviour and forms of sales and discounts, focusing on the phrase "for FREE". The next part takes a look "under the bonnet" of low prices in retail chains and introduces Czech retail chains and their recent development along with the continuously increasing offer of special sales and discounts on the Czech market. One chapter deals specifically with "group-buying platforms" -- a new phenomenon on the Czech Internet. The practical part of the thesis summarises the results of a questionnaire-based survey among "discount hunters". The thesis is concluded by a calculation of the impact of special sales and discounts on people's wallets.
Consumer protection within indoor sales events

This thesis analyzes the course of indoor sales events and compares the deviations between facts presented and the truth. The thesis also researches views and experiences of consumers by the virtue of interrogation and observation. The list of ways in which visitors can defend against violation of the rights of consumers is another part of this thesis. The aim of the thesis is to provide basis for predicting future development of indoor sales events through data collected and processed.
