Multifunctional Building Křenová

The bachelors thesis deals with multifunctional building on the Křenová Street and Skořepka in Brno. The proposal is considered on the planned New urban boulevard. The main though was to form an integrated building wich will not be disrupt built-up area around. The building continuous on the existing buidings and so closes block of houses, lining the Křenová and Skořepka streets. The building is split in the three parts – administration part, shops and flats. Administration part is almost all made of glass. It was choosen orange, gray and milky color-tinted glass to make it attractive and architectual accent. Flats facade is painted in the dark and light gray color. From the facade are pulled out specific shapes. Family house with bookshop in Brno

The thesis solves a project documentation of family house with bookshop in Brno. The object is designed as a three-floor with partial basement and garage. Family house is rectangular in shape, staffed by sloping terrain. In basement is situated technical room and cellars. The first floor is used for operating purposes. Here is located bookshop with facilities for employees and garage. Acces road to the bookshop and sales area indoors are designed for disabled person. In other floors are two independent flats for family of four to five. Object includes terrace and balconies. Object is covered by a gable roof. Architectural and proportional design of the building fits into surrounding development.

Residential Complex in Brno - Komín

The area of the project is located in the calm part Brno - Komín. The current build up area is composed of the family houses and low flat houses. The area is on the ledge of the city, there is a good connection to the nature and also to the city center. The concept is trying to fill the current area with the quality and functional raster, which creates friendly public spaces for residents. The residential area respects the high of the buildings and keeps the way to the forest on east free. The design is splitted in more parts. The first are four floors high flat houses, which respect contour line from west to east. In between the houses are new public areas with playgrounds for children and also one multifunctional playground with the option for summer cinema. On the south the three floors high town houses are located. The last part is the residence for pensioners. This house is located on the east under the hill. From this place is possible to go directly to the forest and on the hill. On the north part of the area is alley with the path to the woods. New living area should react to this part of the city and create enjoyable place for residents.

Residential Complex in Brno - Komín

Assignment was to create an architectonic solution of residential complex in city district Brno – Komín, between streets Pastviny, Houškova and Uhlířova. Affected area of approximately 20,482.5 m2 is currently used as private gardens. Architectonic solution is based on east-west orientation and vertical terrain configuration of the area. Design of rectangular composition of four structures containing two to three-story residential buildings created four “nests” labeled A, B, C and D. Each “nest” contains 16 or 20 flats with underground parking solution. “Nests” seemingly create closed space, however simple rectangular masses of individual buildings raising from the structure of underground garages and terrain are situated shifted to each other to ensure the quality of housing, enough light and sun shine and not-disturbing parking capacity. Meanwhile visual and pedestrian permeability of the area were maintain to respect public, semi-public and private spaces. Construction of the residential complex is connected to public utilities and transport infrastructure through street Uhlířova. Design of the structures respect surrounding buildings and also public environmental areas.

NEW ON THE „OLD“ – Brno, Bratislavská - Stará Corner

Building has six full above ground floors and two underground floors. Two six floor buildings are block of flats and the middle two floor building has a function of mall from which goes underpass to the square. This building has the function of mall. All three buildings has common underground floor- entering area, commercial area, restaurants, fitness, From third to sixth floor are flats. Roof of the lower building is roof garden.

NEW ON THE „OLD“ – Brno, Bratislavská - Stará Corner

The entire facility comprises on the ground floor leasable space. In the second to fifth floors are apartments in the two materials. Apartments are designed for young couples, students or small families. The entire mass of the house is depicted in contrast to the ground floor and floors. Where the ground floor has an organic shape of the curve and floor rational cuboid. On the roof of the first floor are common atrium for apartments. Roofs are covered with extensive lawn.

Apartment house

The subjekt of my thesis is a project of a new apartment house. The building with 16 residential units and a garage for four cars has three aboveground floors and a flat roof. The walls will be made from clay blocks HELUZ. The project of the building is in accordance with the development plan of Příbram. Further emphasis is on layout, architectural, fire and thermal aspects of the individual structures. The thesis "Apartment House" has been prepared in the form of project documentation containing all terms required by regulations.
