The influence of Federico Zuccari on the education of Italian artists at the end of the 16th and in the 17th century
Vítová, Kateřina ; Konečný, Lubomír (referee) ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor)
Federico Zuccari was a major figure of the Italian history of art in the late 16th 17 century, at a time when culminate efforts to prove higher than the substance of craft arts. One of these efforts was the creation of new artistic institutions, academies of art. Federico Zuccariho is very closely linked with the beginning of their activity. Today's essential objective Academy of Fine Arts, a teaching young artists, was in time of their shaping only secondary function. The development of academies as the first place educational institutions was a major objective of Federico Zuccariho. The most of his theoretical and literary production focuses on the appropriate form of teaching and the necessary level of knowledge (both practical and theoretical) students of Fine Arts. Lectures on the theory of the arts, particularly those that reveal his deepest essence, Disegno, Zuccari considers as necessity for awareness of the role artist new era. Zuccari is in their thoughts also a great systematist and didactics using new methods. Unfortunately, most artistic companies were not yet ready nor mature for his theory. Bad to say, the quantity of his advanced ideas remained only in its infancy realization or even failure in practice at all.

Karel Havlicek Borovsky founder of Czech economic thought? Ppart of the history of Czech economic thought
Brožek, Jan ; Szobi, Pavel (advisor) ; Chalupecký, Petr (referee)
The aim of my paper is a critical examination of the thesis, held by Czech public professionals, that Karel Havlíček Borovský was the founder of Czech economic thinking. I begin with the premise that Havlíček was primarily an economic journalist with a basic knowledge of liberal thinking, which he wanted to interpret for the general Czech public in his articles, in order to familiarize the upcoming "Czech national movement" with the basics of economic theory. Based on the methodology of the History of Ideas, I want to show how liberalism looked in the Czech region of the 19th Century, to focus on the social stratification of Czech society and illustrate the difference between a scientist and journalist. In my work, I want to not only deal with That Havlíček wrote in his texts, but would also like to take into account an analysis of the interests of the "Czech national movement" in the 19th Century.

Nguyen Minh, Tuan ; Pavlík, Petr (advisor) ; Sejkora, Jiří (referee)
Political and economic reforms (Doi Moi) launched in 1986 have transformed Vietnam from one of the poorest countries in the world to a lower middle income country within a quarter of a century. Country has achieved such success thanks to its geographic, strategic, and demographic advantages. The work will examine the effectiveness of advantageus economic sectors of the country to respond how much effective these streghts are for the country in today's global economy during which the work will focus its attention to the main drive motor of the economy, the Vietnamese human resources. The shortcomings of the Vietnamese labour force and the need for reforms in education and training systems to achieve greater economic efficency will be analyzed afterwards. In conclusion, it should noted that foreign direct investment flows to all major sectors of the economy and play a key role in the development of technological level of the country. Vietnamese workforce lacks technical expertise in the health service, counstruction industry, transport and logistics and the chemical industry. Therefore it is neccessary that the local firms and educational institutions work closely together and define curricula and training programs for employees to achieve a better quality of Vietnamese workforce.

Leasure time of teenage skinheads in Most (Research in Zahradní district in Most)
Mašek, Lukáš ; Matoušek, Oldřich (advisor) ; Lukešová, Zdeňka (referee)
During my interviews with teenage skinheads their insightful answers suprised me. I wanted to speak with them on neutral grounds, but then I decided, for convenience, to invite them to my home. This offer was reseived with amazement. It ment that I was not scared of having them at my home and showed my determination to know more about them and their motives. They were very communicative and honest, which I did not expect. I thought that they would be bald and would be wearing bomber jackets and DocMartens boots. The reality did not match the stereotypes as these teenage skinheads were much like other teenagers in appearance. I saw only few indications of their subculture (sewn-on patches, badges on their trousers, safety pins on the boots). Some of them had bomber jackets. These teenagers are still developing unlike the previous generations of skinheads. It can bee seen clearly by the clothes they wear, by the asseseries they choose, and the way they conducts themselves. My first hypothesis about the attendance of youth centre was not varified. However, I came across interesting jargon which they are using. They used normal words with rather meanings, for example "fight", "riot", and "meeting" means organized group fight, fight for political and social reasons, and spontaneous fight respectively. Fight is...

Julien Green's journals and autobiographic writings
Suchá, Radka ; Jamek, Václav (advisor) ; Voldřichová - Beránková, Eva (referee)
Julien Green (1900-1998) was the famous novelist of the 20th century. He was dealing with spiritual and moral dilemmas in his novels, which were among others due to his life experience with several faiths. He was also the author of an extensive diary and autobiographical works. He was keeping diary from young age and covers almost the entire 20th century. His aim was not to describe events, rather to let his thoughts, observations and dilemmas took shape. This work aims to explore that angle of Green's work and reveal its character. It will thematically examine specific centers of interest through this work, focusing on the relationship that exists between the diaries and autobiographical prose, whether by consensus or differences in the content, but also in the form of works. The final goal is to transcribe a specific form of statements about himself, which Julien Green created. Keywords autobiography, introspection, christianity, history, intimacy

Rachmaninov and his operas.
Viskotová, Edita ; Přívratská, Jiřina (advisor) ; Jonášová, Jana (referee)
In this work I attempt to summarize the life and work of Sergei Vasiljevič Rachmaninov. He was one of the most important figures of the first half of the twentieth century. He achieved the highest posts as a composer, an interpreter and conductor. Proof of his exquisite piano playing are numerous recording which we still have today. It is interesting to note that it was the Japanese who first attempted to restore these recordings. Thanks to them, we are able to hear and appreciate the mastery, exceptional musicianship and technicel perfection of Rachmaninov. His piano works are at the pinnacie of the composition Word. His third piano concert is thought of as the apex of interpretative art. He recorded all of his four piano concerts including Rhapsody on Paganini´s theme, under the battons of E. Ormandym and L. Stokowki. His second piano concert alongside Tchaikovsky is the most played concert ever.l His operas remain somewhat in the shadow of his other famous compositions; however it is only a question of time until we shall witness new productions which will bear ligth on their merit.

Sílová, Soňa ; Filipi, Pavel (advisor) ; Rejchrtová, Noemi (referee)
This thesis concerns with Tereza Nováková's view on the protestant movement in the region of Eastern Bohemia. Teréza Nováková (born 1853, died 1912) was a Czech realist writer, who had moved to Eastern Bohemia from Prague and started to write about rural way of life. She noticed complicated relationships between Catholics and Evangelicals and this became her main theme. She wrote not only fiction, but she collected ethnographical records as well. The time period concerned stretches from 1720 to 1912 with the emphasis on the last two decades of the 19th century and the first decade of the 20th century. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Muslims in contemporary Spain and the Spanish official Islam
Břeská, Jana ; Veselý, Rudolf (advisor) ; Gombár, Eduard (referee) ; Mendel, Miloš (referee)
Islam has always been an integral part of the Spanish reality. After eight centuries of Muslim al-Andalus, Catholic Spain maintained its connection with the Islamic world through war, trade or diplomatic contacts that led to the colonial adventure in northwestern Africa in the first half of the 20th century. The Spanish transition to democracy converted the country from an emigration country into a destination of immigration; mostly the Moroccan economically motivated one. The historic experience and the number of Muslims on the national territory led also to the legal recognition of Islam's presence in Spain (1989) as a fundamental requirement for negotiating an agreement for cooperation between the Muslim community and the Spanish state. The legal framework (Constitution of 1978, Religious Freedom Act, Aliens' Act, Asylum Act) gives indigenous, naturalized and immigrant Muslims in Spain a possibility to create associations and the Registry of religious entities (Ministry of Justice), established in the consequence of the approbation of the Religious freedom act, provides the religious Islamic associations with the status of legal person. The Islamic associational process in Spain started at the end of the 60's and has passed through different legal phases, from basic associations, through the hierarchical...

The sound to the everyday's life and thought of the middle class of society in 1970's and 1980's (Oral history)
Krákorová, Alena ; Vilímek, Tomáš (referee) ; Čechurová, Jana (advisor)
In my thesis I try to solve the problem of the everyday's life and thought of the middle class of society in 1970's and 1980's in the CSSR. I use the methods of the oral history and I work with narrators and their memories. The selection of narrators abided by advance criterions. All narrators had to be in the watched period employers of the ZPA !akovice. The selection was limited also by the age of narrators and working position (technical-administrative sector). I was making interviews with eight narrators that fulfilled all the conditions. Next to a free narration of each of them, main topics of interview were: some important historical events (1968, 1989), perception of the period called "normalizace", relationships between the people, national jubilee and festivals, travelling and recreation, family, leisure time and spare-time activities etc. . In my thesis I put brain to analyse and interpret the interviews and before that I try to explain my motivation and various expectations. The reason why I do this is that I try to find some general context which will help readers to create some visual angle, that they can use to understand my analysis and interpretations of the interviews. I enlarged the interpretations of two topics. The first: Perception of "West" and travelling in the period called...

Schleiermacher's general hermeneutics and brief outline on its influence on advancement of hermeneutics in 20th century
Hauzrová, Kateřina ; Lyčka, Milan (referee) ; Halík, Tomáš (advisor)
The work is divided into two quite heterogenous parts. First part deals with Schleiermacher's concept of hermeneutics. The character of this part is more likely interpretative. The second part of the work is conceived as brief summary of the basic branches of 20th Century hermeneutics. It should only briefly outline what direction took the Schleiermacher's idea of the creation of general interpretation method. The second part is meant to be only a kind of addition to the first fundamental part. That is the reason why both parts are of different lenght (the first being significantly longer) and why the extend of investigation of each subject is of different intensity (the second being rather superficial). Main part of the work tries to show Schleiermacher's concept of interpretation. According to him the interpretation is not primarily concerned with text but speech. Speech is in his point of view identical with thought, text being only one form of the speech. General hermeneutics should be first of all concerned with search for understanding the other, finding the sense respectively. Further, Schleiermacher tries to show our relation to the world as primarily happening through this speech and what more, the world being shaped by our own speech (thought). Mainly this theoretical philosophical extend of his...
