Marketing support of baby food in the company Nutricia

The aim of the thesis is to present a correct way of proper child nutrition under three years of age, describe the baby food market and trends in this category. Then, apply the theoretical knowledge of the marketing mix to one of the strongest players in the baby food market, the company Nutricia. In conclusion, using the results of the research, suggest for this company marketing recommendations . The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the proper child nutrition from birth to three years of age, components of the marketing mix and competitive enviroment. In the practical part, the baby food market in the Czech Republic, the trends in this category, market competition, the company Nutricia and its marketing mix are beying suscribed. The practical part has its own research. At the end of the work the hypothesis are confirmed or disproved and marketing recommendations for Nutricia are made.

Analysis of the activities of South Korean companies from music industry in the European markets

This master thesis analyzes activities of South Korean companies from music industry in the markets in Europe and this analysis is based on a questionnaire survey. The first part focuses on the theory and describes the Korean popular music, cross its history, major companies in the sector and their activity in foreign markets. In following theoretical chapters there is the definition of basic marketing terms, the theory of marketing research, its methods and evaluation and use of marketing research in culture, a summary of the economic situation in South Korea and differences in business negotiations between Koreans and Europeans. The practical part of the thesis describes in detail the selected companies, their products and activities in Europe. Furthermore there is an introduction to research and information about the survey. The final part deals with the evaluation and interpretation of the findings, conclusions drawn from the information obtained and the proposed solutions.

Title of tbe Tbesis Developing explosive strength in volleyball ofyouth Abstract In this Thesis, I will explode an issue which is very important for all volleyball coaches working at any level. I will research the development of leg explosive strength for youth, which is in terms ofphysical condition very important factor. Site's object will be 15-17 years old girls, already performing competitive volleyball for several years. The research will take place in the course of eight months, from September, 2007 to May, 2008 using 3 measurements - initial measurement at the beginning of the research, another in the middle and the final one at the end of the research period. Two kinds of the jump will be subject of the measurement - when spiking and blocking. The results will be recorded in tables and converted to graphs. I will acquire information on the overall development of explosive strength for individuals and overall effectiveness ofapplied training methods. Analysis of current situation and trends in distribution channels in the German market

The objective of this master's thesis is to analyse trends in distribution in the German market and evaluate their importance in the retail environment. The first chapter of the thesis deals with the issue of distribution from a theoretical perspective. Analysis of the German economy and retail environment serves as a basis for further elaboration of the thesis. In the German market is growing the importance of the e-commerce and there is a tendency of integration of distribution channels. The current situation and trends in distribution channels as well as the trends of the future are outlined on the basis of secondary data. The analysis is completed by qualitative research, which determines the potential use of current trends.

The Possibility of Changing the Payment Process at Discount Portals

The bachelor thesis deals with the discount coupons. The theoretical part explains the concept of a discount coupon which is connected with the marketing mix. There is also mentioned the history of discount portals in the Czech Republic as well as in the whole world. The second part is about an evaluation of the present situation of using the coupons. There is also mentioned the fact that a lot of users of coupons were not satisfied with the situation about using them. The questionnaire was created to prove the thesis that there is possible negative experience with the using of discount coupons. The research subject is whether coupons fulfilled their purpose in business promotion or not. Afterwards there are finding obstacles that would essentially allow the fact of showing coupons while paying. The last part described models whether it would be possible or not to show coupons while paying. There is also suggested what would theoretically be the coupons about, if they should be submitted at the end when paying.

In theorethical part of work are explained important terms and methods related to marketing research and also ways of collecting data. In practical part of work is secondary research of In Motion company with help of SWOT analysis performed together with the primary research with help of questionnaire surveys. The main goal of this work is performing a marketing market research and provision of practical advices and recommendations in order to improve sucessfulness of In Motion Company.

Analysis of the bitter spirits category and the perception of the brand Becherovka Original in the czech market

The aim of the thesis is to analyse the bitter alcohol drinks market and to evaluate the brand image of the Becherovka Original on the Czech market and to suggest appropriate recommendations for improvements in perception of the brand amongst the younger generation of customers. The theoretical basis is defined to understand the terms as customer behavior, consumers buying process, brand elements, brand equity, brand value and brand image. In order to achieve the main objective the primary research was carried out. The research was provided by online customer survey. Based on the collected data the whole Czech alcohol market was analysed, with emphasis on the spirits market, especially on the bitter spirits category. Also, the brands marketing strategy was analysed. At last, the perception of the brand Becherovka Original on the Czech market was analysed. The data for the analysis were obtained by the theoretical basis and by the research. The conclusion contains suggested recommendations for the future prosperity of the brand.

Psychosocial Impacts of Injuries in Children

Accidents are widespread society problem concerning all age groups of population at present. In children, they are even the main cause of mortality. Injury is the main cause of death, hospitalization and disability in children over 1 year of age in the Czech Republic and it represents a serious health, economic and social problem. Traffic accidents, intentional self-harm and drowning are the leading causes of fatal injuries among children aged 0?19 years in the Czech Republic. Traffic accidents cause the most serious long-term injuries of children aged 0?19 years. Most child injuries happen at home, nearhome, in school, and while playing sports. Injury mortality rates among boys are significantly higher than among girls. Abstract part focuces on person characteristic with handicap, explains term Family, Difficult life-time situation. It aims at evaluating the impact of acquired physical disabilities on children?s lives and their families, and also on the awareness of patients and their families about subsequent care options. Furthermore, the thesis calls attention to gaps and sequencing in the healing and therapeutic process and insufficient interaction among individual components of complex rehabilitation in practice. The empirical section, which uses qualitative research methods, focuses on the sample consisting of five children with acquired physical disabilities and their families. The core of this section includes analysis of semi-structured interviews with children and their family members.

Implementation of the Smart Metering Systems in Energetics in Slovakia

The goal of the Master´s thesis is to map the actual situation of transformation of power energy sector to smart grid, find answers to some of the major questions concerning the implementation of smart metering systems, evaluate societal and economic costs and benefits, evaluate trends in legislation, compare the situation in Slovakia with other peer countries from the European Union, and create a follow-up recommendations for Slovakia based on this assessment. The thesis includes detailed critical analysis of the CBA, originally created for Slovakia, using benchmarking with countries with a different calculation approach. The used methodology in this work is a research of available resources, qualitative research of case studies, break-down of the CBA, and expert research through interviewing. The outcome is evaluation of economic and societal contributions of smart metering systems and mapping the process and state of the implementation.

Event marketing

This study aims to analyze event-marketing activities of the small firm and propose new events. At first the theoretical part describes marketing and communication mix and then especially planning and development of event marketing campaign. Research data were collected by the method of survey to propose the new events. Randomly selected customers were asked to fill the questionnaire. Its results were integrated into the proposal of the new events. The interview was realized with the owner of the firm and with the employees. This interview was concerned mainly recent communication activities of the firm. Besides the presentation of the company there are the marketing mix, the competitive analysis and the SWOT analysis in the practical part. In addition the study describes the current event-marketing activities of the firm, the analysis of the unsuccessful event and the proposal of the several new variants of the events for this firm.
