The presented work concentrates on a development of a card playing game application for PC. The resulting application allows us to play against computer opponents or to play over the network against human opponents. Arti ficial intelligence achieves slightly advanced gameplay level, complies with common game practice and uses minimax algorithm for solving situations at the end of game. Network communication runs over a protocol based on XML, which allows easy development of alternative client interfaces in any programming language. Bene ts, compared to present applications, include modern graphical interface, large number of rules settings and also the possibility to save the game state at any time when playing local or internet game. This work describes the application from user's and programmer's point of view and it also includes a comparison with other similar applications.

Development of Multithreaded Applications on the Java 8 platform
Souček, Dan ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (referee)
This master thesis is a programmer's guide book of a concurrent programming on the Java 8 platform. Concurrency brings additional issues that cannot occur in single-threaded ap-plications. One of the thesis' objectives is to analyze these issues and introduce several principles that, in case they are properly followed, help to create flawless and well-behaving concurrent applications. Another goal of this thesis is to describe the Java con-currency programming from the theoretical point of view. Firstly, the thesis is focused on basic thread development and synchronization issues. Later, it introduces the features and instruments that are provided by Java 5 and higher versions. The theoretical passages are enriched by practical examples that perform discussed features and help to clarify some specific issues. The thesis is written in Czech language and covers large set of concurrency topics from the very basics through the utility libraries to modern instruments present in Java 8.

The relevance of the study of this topic is that nowadyas TNC is one of the main structural elements of the economies of most countries, as well as the driving force of its development. To improve the efficiency of the Russian economy and the sustainability of its development is necessary to evaluate the potential of domestic companies and to develop recommendations for the exit to the transnational level. In this regard, the phenomenon of transnational corporations and transnationalization problems require further study. The goal of this study is to develop a methodology to evaluate the potential of transnationalization of Russian companies on the example JSC "Transneft", in other words, the potential of entering to the foreign markets.

Comparative analysis of the contents of German language exams with focus on the German language diploma II KMK exam

Historical interpretations of Lithuanian language system
Vaněk, Michal ; Blažek, Vladimír (referee) ; Hoskovec, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to analyze and compare two historical interpreta-tions of Lithuanian (and Baltic) language system. The first one is Verglei-chende Grammatik der baltischen Sprachen (Oslo - Bergen - Tromsö 1966) by Indo-European, Baltic and Slavic philologist Christian Schweigaard Stang, the other one is Lietuvi kalbos istorin gramatika (Vilnius 1968) by Baltic phi-lologist Jonas Kazlauskas. Both books are of major importance for the Baltic studies. Stang gives a comprehensive compendium of the latest knowledge on the history of Baltic languages in perspective of young-grammarian tradition of Indo-European historical-comparative linguistics. He demonstrates the In-do-European correspondences in Baltic languages and describes the evolution of the Baltic languages in context of the evolution of Indo-European lan-guages (particular importance is given to ancient Indo-European languages, especially Ancient Greek and Ancient Indian) which can lead to some misin-terpretations. Kazlauskas's book is based on methods of modern phonology and struc-tural-functional approach to language. Kazlauskas rather concentrates, in con-trast to Stang, on partial evolutionary processes in Lithuanian itself using me-thod of internal reconstruction and analyzing voluminous amount of dialectal data.
