Stochastic Programming Algorithms

Proposal of Engine Intake System with Exhaust Gases Recirculation
Vojkůvka, František ; Štěpánek, Karel (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
The object of the diploma thesis is to optimize vacuum function of the ejector using computional fluid dynamics, or CFD. The ejector is inserted to the intake system of the six - cylinder diesel engine to increase the pressure gradient of the exhaust gas recirculation system. The analysis of the current design solution is performed and then the ejector with the new shape affording higher vacuum effect is proposed. The introductory part is devoted to the questions of diesel engines emissions and technology to reduce emissions in the exhaust system focused on the EGR.

Passivation of Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys in passivation baths without Cr6+ Compounds
Macháč, Pavel ; Tulka,, Jaromír (referee) ; Molliková, Eva (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with evaluation of efficiency of protection conversion coatings created by passivation metals and alloys in passivation baths without chromium compounds. The theoretical part is initially concerned with question of electrochemical corrosion of metals, consequently there are mentioned different methods of corrosion protection. The main section of theoretical part of this thesis deals with chromate conversion coatings, description of their protective efficiency (including their unique self-healing effect) and then with account of new chromate-free conversion coatings occurring as chromate alternatives, whose usage is constrained because of their content of hexavalent chromium, which is highly toxic, oxidizing and also carcinogenic and thereby very dangerous for human body and the environment. Experimental part of this thesis is concerned with evaluation of efficiency of particular conversion coating which is quite commonly use in some applications as chromate alternative. It is chromate-free conversion coating which is created by passivation of metals or alloys in passivation bath Pragokor BP, which contains zirconium fluorocomplexes and is without any chromium or other toxic or ecologically unhealthy compounds. The influence of sealing of the coating in preparation Pragokor Seal Al and also other surface treatments such as application of conservation wax WAXENG or cold application of zinc coating were tested too. Efficiency of mentioned surface treatments was then evaluated on aluminum and steel by laboratory accelerated and atmospheric corrosion testing.

Application of modelling for noise control of computers
Nešetřil, Čeněk ; Mišun, Vojtěch (referee) ; Pellant, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to discuss the diffusion of noise inside the personal computer and possibilities of decrease it. The results of this thesis are presented in this work. I used the Ansys FEM program for simulation of the noise diffusion and effectivity of anti-noise equipment.

The photoluminescence properties measurement of ultrathin films
Metelka, Ondřej ; Mach, Jindřich (referee) ; Šamořil, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis briefly describes the principles and types of luminescence. In the first following research of study is also discussed the equipment which is applicable to photoluminescence experiments, including the arrangement. The second research focuses on the influence of the properties of gallium nitride (GaN) (ultra) thin films and other structures prepared by various ways on shape of photoluminescence spectra. The paperwork also describes the further optimization of photoluminescent apparatus used for the measurement of photoluminescence spectrum in the UV light radiation which is located at the Institute of Physical Engineering at the Technical University. The extension of measurements at low temperatures (design and construction of its own cryostat) is added. The conclusion concernes the test measurements to determine the effect of various settings of the apparatus on the resulting measured photoluminescence spectrum.

Optimalization of Intake Manifold for SI Engine
Vávrovec, Jiří ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This thesis focus with construction design intake manifold of four stroke engine rallyecross division 1A. For improvement observant come into operating here derive benefit from theory tuned supercharging, which is based on tuning longitudes sucking conduit. Derive benefit woolen effect. Driving unit is here used four cylinders, water-cooled, atmospheric combustion engine from car VW Polo 6N GTI. Design is created so, to answer condition division 1A.

Centra sdílených služeb v české veřejné správě –přínosy a rizika jejich implementace
Pelikánová, Šárka ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (advisor) ; Khorel, Tomáš (referee)
The baccalaureate thesis examines shared service centres, their implementation in the Czech public services administration and the related risks. The goal of this thesis is to provide an overview of the shared service centres, their role within the public service administration with a focus on the consequences of their implementation for the Czech public service administration. The first chapter describes the international competitiveness prospects of the Czech Republic for 2012-2020, as well as the Effective Public Services Administration project which supports the implementation of shared service centers. The second chapter examines the potential for optimization of institutional processes with a focus on shared service centres and the various types of support services most commonly provided by these. The third chapter describes the public services shared service centres implementation process which took place in Austria and the Netherlands, followed by an analysis and comparison of the Czech, Austrian and Dutch public services administration. The fourth chapter provides an outline of the current shared service centres implementation status in public service administration, as well as the author's view of some of the expected resulting advantages and risks. The thesis is based on information obtained from available literature, internet sources, a case study on the implementation of shared service centres by the Dutch Ministry of Justice, data made public by SAP, Eurostat and OECD.

Influence of process parameters in forward extrusion on the die loading
Pokorná, Jana ; Návrat, Tomáš (referee) ; Petruška, Jindřich (advisor)
One of the decisive factors of effective using of forward extrusion technology is lifetime of forming tools. Die is very loaded forming tool which loading and therewith related lifetime can be significantly affected by its construction. Construction also affected quality of extruded material. Finete element method allows to simulate this process and assess force which is needed to extrusion and state of stress in die and extruded material. Numerical simulation was realized in program ANSYS 11.0. Influence of reduction, angle of reduction, lenght of extruded material, rounding transition of die parts, extruded material and friction coefficient on die loading and emergence of cracks in extruded material was set in this diploma thesis. Results can be used to die construction optimalization.
