Nováková, Petra ; Turčová, Ivana (advisor) ; Nováková, Lenka (referee)
Title: Outdoor activities in institutional care Aim of the thesis: The aim of this work is to chart oudoor activites in institutional care in Liberec region. As well as to determine the types of outdoor activites and the time spent by doing these activities in nature. Methodology of research: I used the questionnaire method for this reasearch. Respondents were given questionnaires with open and closed questions concerning the topic. The data were processed quantitatively and were set out into pie charts. Results: In the questionnaire, I found out that educators believe that outdoor activities are suitable for children from institutional care. They are not only a good tool for making new contacts, but especially as a tool for increasing children's responsibility and self-knowledge. Most of the outdoor activities are used in the form of games or walks in nature. Activities that are least accessible are climbing and swimming. Top children's activity is playing on the computer and walks with friends. Playing games and collecting wild fruits are the most enjoyable outdoor activities for children. Outdoor activities bring mainly joy, fun and new experience to children. They think that they will get to know better their friends and strengthen the confidence among them during outdoor activities. Educational policy towards Roma: an application of a theoretical approach social constructions of target populations on a problem of educating Roma pupils in the Czech schools
Jeráčková, Aneta ; Novotný, Vilém (advisor) ; Muhič Dizdarevič, Selma (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with educational policy towards Roma pupils in the Czech Republic. This problem is explored on the basis of theoretical approach called social constructions of target populations. Educational policy towards Roma pupils has a provable negative character, because it segregates many Roma pupils from the educational mainstream and thus it prevents them from achieving an adequate level of education. On the opposite side of this "double-track" education system there is a concept of inclusive education, which is considered on the EU level as more effective and beneficial for the whole society. However, there is a polemic in the Czech society, both professional and non-professional, with respect to reforming the education system into more open and inclusive form. Despite of the fact that the concept of inclusive education has been formally accepted as a guideline of the Czech education system, it hasn't brought any real change so far, neither of the system itself, nor of the situation of Roma pupils in it. With an application of theoretical knowledge of the social constructions of target populations approach, this diploma thesis tries to understand a present image of the educational policy towards Roma pupils, in order to answer a question: why it has prevailing negative character...

Prokop, Tomáš ; Mildeová, Stanislava (advisor) ; Filip, Petr (referee)
The main goal of this thesis is to create management flight simulator for inventory management in selected company. The proposed management simulator is developed in the context of the taxonomy of decision support systems. It is a model-oriented system based on the models proposed by me and created a user interface. In this particular situation the application is realized on company Dynavix, that is a manufacturer of navigations. After opening theoretic information about models, computer technologies for systems modeling and individual phases of simulation process, there follows a case study. It is trying to find and recommend appropriate solutions of fluctuations in the need for planning the purchase of navigation Dynavix by using a system dynamics approach (developed model and its testing). The recommended solution is verified by testing hypotheses according to a predefined test scenarios.

The temperature as a nursing problem
RAIŠLOVÁ, Jitka
This Bachelor's thesis deals with treating care of the people diseased with fever. At the beginning of the theoretical part, the term thermoregulation is defined and thermoregulatory systems are described. The following part contains description of body temperature and activities of a nurse during taking body temperature. In brief, accessible thermometers and sensors are also mentioned. In the most extensive part, there is described the term fever, causes of fever, clinical record, physiological impacts of fever, types of fever, diagnostics and possible methods of decreasing body temperature. Then there is mentioned treating care of the people diseased with fever and there are described activities of a nurse during the treating care. Two goals have been determined to fulfil the main purpose of this thesis. The goal number 1: To find out which treating techniques are the most frequent during treating a fever patient. The goal number 2: To find out which problems are the most frequent during treating a fever patient. There have also been determined two research questions. The research question number 1: Which treating techniques are the most frequent during treating a fever patient? The research question number 2: Which problems are the most frequent during treating a fever patient? The practical part of this thesis contains results of a qualitative research based on an in-depth partly structured interview. The interviewed persons were nurses from several medical facilities in Pilsen Region. There were spoken twenty nurses meeting the criterion. The criterion was their work at Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Department, Intensive Care Unit, Surgery or Department of Internal Medicine. Using the method of Open Coding, the nurses were given the numbers. All the lines containing the nurses' answers were given the numbers to enable to refer to them later. Using the method "paper and pencil", all the important information was labelled. Then using the technique "reading the cards", all obtained data were sorted to four categories. There were also made subcategories. And the main categories were made to schemes. Using the research, both the research questions were answered. The nurses stated main treating procedures using during treating care of the people diseased with fever. They have good general knowledge about problems during treating a fever patient. All the nurses have already met a fever patient at work. They know causes of fever which they can meet at work. They stated wide range of symptoms and complications related to fever. During treating a patient, they always follow doctors' orders and make treating interventions. It is clear from the results that treating procedures differ partly according to the type of medical facility and also according to work at an intensive care or a standard department. Intensive Care Unit and Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Department are better equipped and have more staffs for high-quality treating care. But also standard departments provide quality treating care according to the research. According to the results of the research, the nurses generally demonstrated their knowledge related to treating care of the people diseased with fever. They have also general knowledge about problems during treating a fever patient. Nevertheless, there are also possibilities how to enlarge theoretical knowledge and practical experience. On the basis of theoretical study of fever, treating care of the people diseased with fever, specifics during treating and evaluation of the research, there was made the handbook "Treating care of the people diseased with fever", which is enclosed as an appendix (the appendix number 6). The Bachelor's thesis can be also used as an information material for nurses in medical facilities, who meet the people diseased with fever at work.

Finanční ohodnocení krásy krajiny - metoda CVM
Cudlínová, Eva ; Lapka, Miloslav
Evaluation of landscape amenity is not very common and relatively difficult from the economic point of view. In our case study focused on comparing aesthetic preferences of Czech and Japan respondents regarding rural landscape. We used the contingent valuation method. We also wanted to reveal the respondent’s preferences in a financial form. These preferences served us as quantitative indicator for an attestation of the respondent’s qualitative preferences. It seemed that a strong correlation between the aesthetical and financial evaluation exist in two extreme cases – respondents were not interested, or they were strongly involved in landscape amenity. A substantial difference occured between the Czech and Japanese respondents in the case of case of open or closed access to the landscape.

Theoretical part of the theses is a compilation of knowledge about reading competence, about most important reader's theories and theory of fiction worlds. At the background of results from research on reading of pubescents and adults basic characteristics of adolescent reading were determinated. 3 cirtuits for internal division of reading competence were built for the needs of the theses and it was realized on interpretation of the fantastic story "The night face-up", which was written by Julio Cortazár and which was used as a initial text for literary questionnaire. In the practical part of theses a mixed research was made. Qualitative methods of research came to light in open questions (pointed at first phase at whole aesthetic judgement and at second phase at various aspects of the piece of work) engaged in the framework of literary questionnaire. Quantitative methods of the research consisted in verification of hypotheses specified by the study of literature and in form of sorting of respondents' answers to the various levels of reading competence determinated in advance. On the basis of results from the research, initial characteristic of adolescent reader was extended and completed and methodological recommendation was created, within the frame of which particular methods and forms for...
