Methodology of design multidimensional databases in the farm environment
Vasilenko, Alexandr ; Klimešová, Dana (advisor) ; Toman, Prokop (referee)
This dissertation thesis is focused on bulk unsolicited messages which are present in current time in all sectors of electronic communications. It is not only e-mail communication, but also in online forums, discussion contributions, social networking and more. Analyze spam messages is therefore an essential element in preventing flooding user mailboxes. Antispam countermeasures is a set of processes, software tools and methods. It is necessary to harmonize all these components into one cooperating piece of service. Administrators of email servers are trying to keep their servers optimally configured. The problem is that spammers trying continuously these defense mechanisms and filter bypass to enhance spam processes. Their work is very sophisticated and this fight does not yet have a clear winner. After enhancement techniques either processes takes place after a certain time to balance the advantages and disadvantages. For these reasons it is necessary to have a tool which can be analyzed in depth junk messages with dynamic data views. This tool can be Online Analytical Processing (OLAP below), which is very suitable for this purpose. Presented a method of data extraction and transformation and preparation for storage in a warehouse DT-MEZ (Data Pump - metadata email messages). This method is part of the methodology ASOLAP (Antispam - OLAP).

Environmental impacts of nuclear energy and to compare them with other sources of electricity generation
Badashkeeva, Valentina ; Vach, Marek (advisor) ; Najnarová, Eva (referee)
The object of the bachelor's thesis is a detection of environment impacts of nuclear power and comparing them with other sources of production of electrical energy. Firstly the thesis describes environmental impacts of the electrical nuclear power station Temelin and analyzes positive and negative influence on environment. Then follows shor description other sources of power. The thesis analyzes a full order of actions from gaining a primal source of fuel to a disposal of the impacts in nuclear power station. Comparing the influence of the technologies of production of electrical energy on environment. In conclusion to find out pros and cons of using nuclear eneregtics from the viewpoint of the influence on environment.

Zinc in environment and methods of remediation
Landová, Ludmila ; Michálková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Dvořáková Březinová, Tereza (referee)
Zinc and other heavy metals cause negative effects on both the environment and human health. Depending on the concentration of zinc in the ecosystem, it can produce unwanted effects in the environment and on the human. Due to pollution, vegetation may not be able to grow on the contaminated soils, which can further result in strong soil erosion. For these reasons, remediation of soils contaminated with risk elements is necessary to minimize their impact on ecosystems. This bachelor thesis describes properties, utilization, stability and behavior of zinc and other risk elements in the environment, including the removal from contaminated soils using remediation methods. The experimental part aims at the influence of AMO and Sm-AMO on stability of zinc and risk elements in contaminated soil together with the adsorption kinetics of zinc onto these two materials. The results detected high efficiency of Sm-AMO on sorption of zinc and lead in the test kintetics of adsorption. For most heavy metals having a similar effect, when Sm-AMO is as efficient as AMO, any cases, it has a higher efficiency.

World war and its impact on the environment.
Mašková, Jaroslava ; Šmída, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Dudík, Roman (referee)
The subject of this thesis is to describe the underlying principles of the legislative and institutional arrangements nature and landscape protection in the context of armed conflict, especially in the Middle East. The main objective is to determine how the issue is perceived in the professional community, to obtain relevant information, if there are any measures that they are and what are the associated costs.

Cooking Stone Soup: Porous Workforce Training at the Czech National Library of Technology as a Supplement to (Impermeable) University Education
Chodounská, Alena ; Krueger, Stephanie
As in many other countries around the world, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) libraries in the Czech Republic are facing the difficult challenge of meeting the rapidly-evolving service needs of the communities they support in an environment in which the current university educational system does not provide graduates—neither those from STEM subjects nor those graduating from Czech library/information professional schools—with the appropriate set of skills needed for working in today’s specialized information provision settings. As a result, the Czech National Library of Technology (NTK) has been forced to provide on-the-job workforce training since early 2015 to its reference, instructional, and front-lines services staff simply in order to keep pace with STEM library developments outside the Czech Republic. This weekly workforce training effort, christened NTKu (short for NTKyouniversity), does not resemble traditional university education with its rigid structures and focus on the attainment of a degree. NTKu is, instead, porous: traditional “impermeable,” less flexible university curricula are supplemented with on-demand, ever-changing targeted instruction on specific issues, topics, and skills applied immediately to real-work settings. This manner of instruction, as the authors discuss in the paper, can yield highly effective results; however, unique challenges can emerge in an instructional environment lacking traditional measures of effectiveness (i.e., grades) and requiring voluntary participation by both learners and instructors. Such porous instructional efforts resemble those of open source software (OSS) communities, in which voluntary effort can produce results benefiting a particularly community—but only to the degree of investment provided by contributors. Such initiatives resemble cooking stone soup: the results can be tasty, but everyone involved needs to bring something to the table.

Measurements of selected parameters of the building services systems and indoor environment of buildings
Malach, Tomáš ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
In the first part, the bachelor thesis deals with indoor environment of buildings, solar irradiance and thermography. The measuring device for measuring the energy flows of the building, climatic data and microclimate variables are presented in this part. In the next part, I mention the principles for the measurement thermal imaging camera and I evaluate thermal images. I specify measurement of the hygrothermal microclimate, carbon dioxide concentration and climate data for power engineering. Analysis of measurement of the selected parameters is performed simultaneously and their graphical processing. In the last part, I apply measurement on the real objects, I analyzes the measured data (air temperature, relative humidity and the concentration of carbon dioxide in the room) and I perform their evaluation. At the end, I evaluate the outdoor air temperature and theirs effect for design heating and cooling systems.

The Application of selected Instruments of Public Policy Aimed at Protecting the Environment on the Example of Prague
Kolková, Veronika ; Nový, Jan (advisor) ; Musil, Martin (referee)
The thesis "The Application of selected Instruments of Public Policy Aimed at Protecting the Environment on the Example of Prague" is focused on the issues of environmental policy of the city of Prague and instruments for environmental policy that are used in Prague. The main goal of this thesis is to describe the development of the living environment in the city area and its relationship to the environmental instruments used there. Second goal is to define factors that influence the environment and make it difficult to measure the effects of these tools. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part, the topic of environmental policy and its instrument is explained. It explains the relationship between the environment, the economy and politics. It describes some instruments used to protect the environment and also factors influencing research of the relationship between these instruments and the current status of the environment. The second part focuses on the development of Prague's environment and analyzes the environmental policy and instruments used to improve it. The factors that make it harder to prove the benefits of using these instruments are described at the end of the second part. In the last part of this thesis there is a practical example of how the environmental instruments affect recycling.

Simple C++ Development Environment for Android
Režňák, Pavel ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about creation of an environment for compiling aplications which has been written in C and C++ languages. This development environment is made of an application emulating terminal window and packages containing open-source compilers and optional tools compiled for mobile devices with ARM processors and Android operating system. This process includes generation of cross-compilers for Android system from NDK tools, correct setting of parameters during configuration, fixes of the source codes of these open-source compilers and creation  of an application which is installable under Android OS and which will allow us to easily use these tools.
