Restoration of Structures Urban Sprawl in the Historic Centre Strážnice

This theses delves into the restaration of the structure of an urban area in the historical center of the town Strážnice. It covers a modular theme - Tradition of a folk architecture in the contemporary rural development. A location placed in a protected, historical center of the town Stražnice was chosen and a missing structure was designed. The investor requested a creation of a meeting zone for senior citizens and handicaped. This theses offers a detailed analysis of broader relations in the given location as well as presents an urban-architectural study of newly proposed structures.

Outdoor Activities for People with Disabilities

Title: Outdoor Activities for People with Disabilities Aims: The aim of the thesis is to prepare an argumentation for creating a professional centre offering outdoor activities to people with disabilities; to explore current situation within the field of outdoor activities; to assess the interest of workers in the field of education of people with disabilities in services provided by outdoor centres for people with disabilities; to assess the interest of people with disabilities in services provided by outdoor centres for people with disabilities. Methods: The principal method of this work is a quantitative research by means of non-standard questionnaire distributed to people with disabilities and to professional workers and organizations engaged in education of people with disabilities. Results: Based on a survey of publicly accessible information there was compiled an up-to-date list of organizations and centres engaged in providing outdoor activities for people with disabilities in the Czech Republic. The Influence of Social Support for Disabled

In my diploma thesis I focus on the social assistance provided to the physically handicapped citizens, with the purpose of finding out how this assistance adds to the quality of their life. The work has got a theoretical and an empirical part. It is divided into six chapters, five of them focusing on a brief delineation of the physical handicap issues, social assistance, quality of life and different interconnected issues. The sixth chapter is empirical in nature, focusing on finding out the evaluation of the influence of social assistance on the quality of life of the physically handicapped.
Technique, Didactics, and Selected Training Methods in Coaching of the Disabled

Title: Technique, didactics, and selected training methods in rowing of the disabled. The given thesis deals with the didactics, technique and training in rowing of the disabled. The aim of my thesis was to analyze expert literature from the area of rowing and sports for the disabled, then to find out and describe the appropriate training methods and teaching practices for the physically, visually and mentally disabled rowers and finally based on training, observation and interviews with the disabled athletes and the coaches to add the searched material with the practical experience. Results: Rowing of the disabled is a young sport which is at the beginning of its development. It was found out that the training methods for individual diagnosis of disability are not sufficiantly elaborated. The coaches who wish to devote to this sport have to learn from the experience of the trainers of healthy oarsmen. It is not sure how the rowing motion burdens the body of the disabled and what training dosage is optimal for the increasing of performance. Keywords: rowing, disability, sport training 3
Social services and their accessibility in Pardubicky region, case study of microregion Usti nad Orlici

The aim of this master thesis is analysing the accessibility of social services in Pardubicky region and analysing the accessibility of social services in the area around the town of Usti nad Orlici. In the theoretical part of this thesis is the definition of social politics and principles and models of social politics. Next, this thesis describes models of social politics in the selected states of EU- in Sweden, Germany, Great Britain, France and Slovakia. Following of this section follows description of the social politics and system of social services (definition, quality standards and types of the social services) in the Czech Republic. The last section of the theoretical part compares legislations of the social services in the Czech Republic,France and Slovakia. The practical part of this thesis is focused on social services in Pardubicky region. The introduction of the practical part describes the planning of social services in Pardubicky region. The next section analyse the accessibility of social services for different groups in Pardubicky region. More detailed analyses of accessibility of social services in Pardubicky region is focused on area around the town of Usti nad Orlici
DRAMATIC WORK IN A SPECIFIC GROUP

In this thesis I describe and analyse my experience and findings which I had the chance to acquire when I took part in projects and theatrical performances in specific groups ? adult people with intellectual disability and children. During the course of my study I have had the opportunity to do some research into these groups and deal with them in terms of dramatic work. So I try to depict their dramatic work and I also attempt to find bases for their development. In the introductory parts I mainly deal with a description of some theatrical principles and approaches connected with the particularity of this kind of theatrical production. I also present individual groups I work with and describe their capabilities and limits. In the last part of my thesis I try to analyse the individual projects and performances with regard to their dramatic work. At the conclusion I will attempt to specify dramatic work of professional actors within this group.
The issue of disabled people in the labor market, focusing on the possibilities of getting a job adequate to their disability and education

This thesis deals with the problems of the disabled in the labor market and employment opportunities that would be appropriate according to their disability and qualification. In theoretical part there are defined definitions of the disability by several international organizations and importance of employment for disabled people. There is also approached problem of marginalization and social exclusion. Further it is focused on employment policy and special job opportunities for disabled people. Analytical part is performed by two methods. First is questionnaire survey with handicapped people. Second is structured interview with employers and labor office workers. The value added of this thesis is in the recommendations for this issue listed at the end of the analytical part.
The integration of disabled people into the society

This bachelor thesis concerns itself with disabilities, disabled people and their social integration. The theoretical part deals with the various types of disabilities, how the intact public views people with disabilities and the evolution of their perception from the past to the present. It's mainly focused on education and subsequent employment of the handicapped and the approach of the government and the role it plays in the lives of the disabled. The practical part ties into the findings of the theoretical part, its goal is, by distributing a questionnaire, finding the level of knowledgeability of the intact public about people with disability, their experience and relations with them, then comparing these findings with the opinions and experiences of a few handicapped people and people with a close understanding of the issue. In the last part these findings are summarized and practical recommendations for increasing the public awareness on this topic are made.
