The bachelor project deals with the impact of the bold traffic structure of the Large City Ring Road on the immediate surroundings of Tomkovo Square in Brno. It examines the possible development of this particular area on the backdrop of historical contexts with the growth of traffic load, looking for a border between the newly created free space of the crossroads and the space for urban structures and proposes a new development on the plots in the gap below Husovic Hill.
Reconstruction of Stromořadní street and parts of street Břetislavova in Břeclav
Olej, Otto ; Coufalíková, Iva (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
Reconstruction is designed for improving technical condition of roads and improving traffic safety. Pedestrian routes are crossing roads at the big traffic hub - Břeclav train and bus stations. In front of station is designed enough parking spaces with respecting pedestrians. Project also prospectively counts on designing city ring route and connecting it to already planned city bypass, which would cause serious traffic redistribution in the city.
Connection of streets in Holásky and Brněnské Ivanovice
Vajda, Ronald ; Holcner, Petr (referee) ; Všetečka, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the interconnection of V holáskách and Brněnské Ivanovice streets. The aim of this work is to design a traffic-urban study of the BI-2 site according to the Draft Zoning Plan of the City of Brno. I focused on the suitability and method of connecting the streets V Aleja, Sladovnické, Jubilejní, Rolencově and the examination of the establishment of the railway stop Holásky. After studying the topography and elevation, I proposed various connections of these streets. I examined them in direction, width and height and on the basis of the results I proposed new suitable connections for different modes of transport. I then designed the layout of the plots and buildings on the basic traffic skeleton. A reasonable layout resulted in a population of 1,022. The population density works out at 101 inhabitants/ha. There are 38 % of public areas and 62 % of non-public areas. The results of this work allow for better decision making when processing further detailed documentation and deciding on the further use of the area. It is also beneficial that development site BI-2 is connected to the second development site Ho-2 by a footbridge that runs over the railway. The main result is that the connection of the streets is realistic and the establishment of a railway station is also possible.
Calibration of the high-speed traffic microsimulation
Traffic situations model

This master thesis deals with analyze of camera system in real traffic, using these system and realization of traffic situation model. Result of this work is fully functional model of traffic situation, which shows the capability of these camera systems in real traffic. It consists of two basic parts, the first is physical model of traffic with semaphore and second part is control program with algorithm for detection of traffic offences. The system contains speed measurement and red light violation. Model has capable of control the speed of cars, control semaphores and configure cameras.
Simulation and traffic control using Petri nets
Zbranek, Matyáš ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Dobrovský, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the modelling, simulation and control of a real traffic light intersection using Petri nets. Nowadays, when many people own a car, road traffic and time spent on the road becomes an important part of life. Intersections are often critical places where traffic slows down or even stops. The theoretical part introduces Petri nets, some traffic management systems and studies that have solved traffic situations using Petri nets. The practical part relies on traffic measurements at the intersection. The traffic light model, car clearance and the model of the whole intersection are described. In order to make the traffic in the simulation as close as possible to the real behaviour, stochastically timed Petri nets are used. Furthermore, possible control sequences are proposed and simulated with different traffic volumes. Finally, all data are evaluated and the designs are compared. The PetNetSim library editor was used to generate the models.
Manufacturing of Ladies Dresses
Krček, Jan ; Suchánek,, Petr (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
The study of " PRODUCTION OF WOMEN´S CLOTHING" handles new production building for the clothing brand CHANEL in the city of Brno-Zidenice, namely the use of "brownfields" in the street Rokytova near the woodpark Akatky and the city cemetery. Construction tries to sensitively integrate into the sloping terrain of the parcel and makes full use of its potential. The building is designed as a two-storey and consists of three basic masses; the first is administrative, socio-sanitary spaces and engine rooms, the other two forming the 2nd floor. There is a store, leisure and catering facilities and the production hall. These three basic masses creates a subtle, elegant whole, similarly as it does Chanel in the clothing industry. It leads one main access road to the building from the street Udolicek, which is linked to the service road leading to the warehouses and paved parking areas.
Revitalization of the Padělky housing estate in Ždánice
Culek, Lukáš ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Smělý, Martin (advisor)
The main point of this diploma thesis is revitalization of housing estate called Padělky in Ždánice. The housing estate is located in the northwestern part of the village. There are nine roads in zone 30. Two of them were already repaired in the first stage. The housing estate is without a transport solution and without the possibility of legal parking. Now the roads are devastated, there are potholes, holes and cracks. Six roads were reconstructed, two were extended. This brought the possibility of detours and improved transport. The new design legalizes the parking space. There are new built parking spaces, too. Conditions for the inhabitants of the housing estate are improving. There are new trees, bushes, rosary, furniture and waste bins. The public lighting will be replaced.
Architecture of travelling
Drgala, Andrej ; Hradecký,, Aleš (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
The design deals with the construction of the new railway station in Bratislava- Filialka situated at the current browfied, presently not used freight depot, as a part of a complex conception of a public transport in Bratislava. Nevertheless, the project does not just design the railway station as a utilitarian traffic issue but it offers a complex vision of the transformation of the whole location into a new sub-centre of Bratislava by means of constructing new offices and dwellings untraditionally built above the rails. The goal of the project is to transform the station into an integral part of the Bratislava urban structure and trigger off social life in it. The ambition of the design is to maximally exploit the potentials of the location and offer the vision of a coexistence between the private and public sectors.
