Batch Processing of Genealogical Data
Janda, Adam ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This thesis describes the design, development, and implementation of batch processing of parish records using a template system. The batch processing of records is an extension of the DEMoS project, which deals with the digitization of historical parish records. The connection of the designed module to the web interface brings the possibility of bulk addition of new records or batch editing. Part of the solution is data entry, the extraction of parish data into a CSV file stored in the database. A total of 15 templates were designed for each type of parish record (birth, death, and marriage records). By modifying or expanding these templates, batch processing can be adapted to the architectural change in the database structure due to the incompleteness of parish register formats.
Presentation layer and interface for a system for information integration and search
Hladík, Tomáš ; Nečaský, Martin (advisor) ; Peška, Ladislav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyse, design and implement a system to present business objects. These objects are accessible through an existing RESTful API of an integration system. The system combines various sources and publishes them together with information how these data are stored. The task of the thesis is to create data views that meet the following requirements - they can react to metadata changes, they support multiple output formats and these views can be customized. The application should be easily modifiable and connectable to already existing web systems.
Source Codes Generating Metalanguage
Kolšovský, Jakub ; Pergel, Martin (advisor) ; Gemrot, Jakub (referee)
Title: Metalanguage generating source codes Author: Jakub Kolšovský Department: Katedra softwaru a výuky informatiky Supervisor: RNDr. Martin Pergel, Ph.D., Katedra softwaru a výuky informatiky Abstract: Modern programming goes hand-in-hand with object-oriented programming languages. These languages offer a lot of features, either built-in elements or standard libraries. Skillful programmer is able to maximize the effectivity of these features. One of the skills of such programmer is considered to be knowledge of the design patterns. In practice, they help with producing simple, clean and extendible source code. Such code leads to development of top-notch software. Goal of this thesis is to show some of the design patterns and, more importantly, show how they are supposed to be implemented. Among other things, I will also mention few templates that I personally consider useful to know. Keywords: programming language design, implementation of a compiler, design patterns, templates
Mural paintings in the urban environment on the borderland between Bohemia and Moravia in 16th and beginning of 17th century
Hamrlová, Anna ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor) ; Nespěšná Hamsíková, Magdaléna (referee) ; Halama, Ota (referee)
Mural paintings in the urban environment in 16th and beginning of 17th century has been rather an ignored topic, however its artistic interpretation and iconographic concept says a lot about the life of residents during Renaissance. The art phenomenon in this work was studied on the borderland between Bohemia and Moravia, currently the place of Havlíčkův Brod, Pelhřimov and Jihlava districts. At the same time, this division facilitated systematic research and listing of surviving paintings. First, the study focuses on the summary of a colourful historical situation in the given place and religious affairs related in particular, but not only to the New Utraquism and Lutheranism which followed up local Utraquist foundations from the Hussite Era. One of the aims of the work is to study the relationship between religion and artistic or iconographic interpretation of paintings. Selected artistic sources related in particular to the graphic works of that time play also important role. This is why other chapters are dedicated to the study of the theory of art of mural paintings, urban houses abroad and in the concerned location, study of sacral interiors within the context of the Saxon environment, and the last chapter deals with the thematic and iconographic study of collected paintings. The results...
XML Template Support in PHP Frameworks
Ambrož, Lukáš ; Volf, Tomáš (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with template support in PHP frameworks. The aim is to design and implement an extension for Nette Framework, which allows defining templates in XML language. Thesis also provides a comparison of different approaches of template support in commonly used PHP frameworks. In addition it describes the possibilities of XML language that might be useful for own extension. Created library includes a set of special XML tags, which enable definition of templates in XML.
C++ Arbitrary Precision Floating Point Library
Závada, Vladislav ; Šnobl, Pavel (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a floating point module, which allows to perform operations with floating point operands that have any bit width. For this purpose, the module is implemented as a template class in C ++. The module is designed to allow it to be used when designing an application-specific processor. First, the floating point number and template functions in c ++ are described. In the practical part the algorithms of the individual operations and the design of the module itself are described as template libraries.
Business Cards Generator

Face detection and recognition with use of Raspberry Pi
Rozhoňová, Andrea ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Hesko, Branislav (advisor)
The following bachelor thesis is focused on the face detection and recognition in an image. The theoretical part divides methods of detection and recognition into several groups and there is better description and explanation of these methods in this part. At the end of the theoretical part is summarized the current utilization of person recognition on the bases of its face in practice. In the practical part is first implemented method for face detection. It is combination of two approaches - approach using haar features and approach using templates of eye. The face recognition is provided by the convolutional neural network. In conclusion there are summarized principles and problems associated with implementation on microcomputer Raspberry Pi and there is also evaluated the success of implemented methods.
XML Tag Library Support in Nette Environment
Poul, Jan ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with using the XML namespaces for the template definition in PHP frameworks. It focuses on the design and implementation of an extension of the Nette Framework that allows creating user-defined elements in XML. We also compare our solution with other solutions available in the PHP frameworks and we describe the related XML features. The implemented extension includes two demonstration XML tag libraries that are ready to use.
