Slovák, Štěpán ; Šustek, Petr (advisor) ; Salač, Josef (referee)
Merging of state contributory organisations and organizational units in the competence of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic Abstract The thesis focuses on the consolidation of state contributory organizations and organizational units of the state within the scope of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. The initial stage involved mapping all relevant state contributory organizations, organizational units, and state enterprises, which fall under the jurisdiction of the Ministry. Subsequently, state contributory organizations suitable for consolidation, such as the University Hospital Brno, St. Anne's University Hospital Brno, and Centre of Cardiovascular and Transplantation Surgery, were identified. The thesis is divided into five chapters covering topics including organizational units, state contributory organizations, state enterprises, specific state contributory organizations providing healthcare services, and the possibilities of merging these entities. The fifth chapter describes the possibilities of merging the identified entities, with the author attempting to offer solutions for potential consolidation. However, the legislator, through the amendment of the Property Act adopted shortly before the finalization of the text, has facilitated the entire process of consolidating state...
In the process
Volková, Markéta ; Velická, Erika (referee) ; Korbička, Pavel (advisor)
My bachelor's thesis is an object responding to the space that surrounds it. It points out the contradiction between organic and austere form. In my work, I materialize abstract experiences through metonymically selected building elements related to the places in which I have these experiences. As an extraction of elements appearing in the architecture of the Southern Mediterranean, a form of ornament appears in the work, which is understood by a figurative comparison to the experience of travelling on holiday. Another element, representing a figurative experience of returning "to reality", are the lux spheres. Their character is linked to the architecture of Central Europe. I explore the relationship between the different types of buildings, which I then freely develop. My perception of reality enhances the recognition of the new with the already known. I let the objects represent and capture these two opposing perceptions with implications and emphasis on their differences. In this way, I come to find in my work a similarity between geometric austerity, which signifies perfectionism, and the intuitive unfolding of ornament, which inserts the theme of organicity into the object. An important aspect of the thesis is processuality. I understand my work as a border between conceptual and intuitive process.

Hora, Šimon ; Černá, Stanislava (advisor) ; Liška, Petr (referee)
Protection of competition from the perspective of control of concentrations between competitors Abstract One of the basic areas of competition law is concentration between undertakings. The protection of competition, as a subject of competition law, requires the assessment of concentrations and the authorization of concentrations in cases where mergers are likely to give rise to a structural change of a lasting nature in the market. The thesis deals with individual aspects and institutes decisive for assessing the concentration of competitors, whether from the point of view of Czech or European legislation. Considerations and interpretations of individual aspects of mergers are based on decision-making practice, in particular by the Office for the Protection of Competition and the European Commission. The purpose of this thesis is to present in detail the institutes of merger control and look at them critically in order to answer the essential question posed in the introduction of the thesis, whether the current rules for assessing mergers are able to effectively protect competition even in today's dynamic times. In the individual chapters, first, space is devoted to the general presentation of competition and its importance, as well as to competition law. In the following chapters, the thesis...
