Legal, Social and Criminogenic Aspects of Alcoholism

This bachelor thesis deals with alcohol dependence, and what problems this dependence has. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine the influence of alcohol dependence on the individual's social status and, above all, on what social problems are most often encountered by people dependent on alcohol. Equally important is to find out what the relationship between increased alcohol consumption and crime is, and what crime is most often done under the influence of alcohol. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part, with the help of specialized literature, defines the characteristics of alcoholism. Furthermore, it is important in the theoretical level to describe the legal, social and criminogenic aspects of alcoholism. In the practical part, the work goes in social and criminogenic direction. Alcohol-dependent social problems were identified through questionnaires. Research on alcohol-related crime was carried out through analyzes of statistical documents of the Police of the Czech Republic.
Baby Center Šikulka - Actual problems in the area of social work with parents and their children

The topic of this work is the Baby Center Šikulka in České Budějovice and the current problems in social work with parents and their children. This work is a descriptive research dealing with the overall concept and individual activities of a specific institution in the České Budějovice. The introductory part is aimed at clarifying the basic concepts related to the given issue and the presentation of the Baby Center Šikulka in České Budějovice, a description of the activities of the center and the activities offered. At the end of this section are examples of good practice. The qualitative research was chosen for the practical part using the structured interview technique with open questions. The research was conducted with ten employees responding to the Sikulka Baby Center. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to present the most serious problems encountered in the life of contemporary Czech families and to show how the specific equipment can be involved in their prevention and overcoming; at the same time, identify difficulties and difficulties that prevent the Center from developing activities and propose some optimization measures. Two research questions were identified to meet these objectives. The first research question is, what problems, difficulties, obstacles are faced by the employees of Baby Center Sikulka. The second question identifies what solutions to identified deficiencies are considered as possible and effective by respondents. The results show that the Baby Center Sikulka does not have any serious problems, but there are occasional organizational problems or violations of the visitor and operating rules. Some respondents also suggested ways to improve the current range of activities and activities.
The Phenomenon of Compressed Modernity and Social Problems in Korea

The aim of this thesis is to introduce the compressed modernity phenomenon in Korea that took place in the second half of the 20th century and in addition to the rapid development brought also a lot of social problems. This thesis explains the process of compressed modernity and describes its progress by decades. The main aim of this thesis is to introduce and analyze the most important problems - defamiliation, insufficient social welfare, problem of the Korean economy, problem of frequent accidents and dualism - that occurred because of the rapid development. Today's policy that is trying to solve these problems and stop their advancement is also described.
Social problems of city Most from perspective of its young population

This Thesis deals with the social problems of city Most and how they are perceived and evaluated by its young population. Under influence of historical events the city has a very specific composition of the population and it has long been faced with many problems that are inherently social, economic, environmental and other. The Thesis presents the view of pupils and students of Most's schools on these problems and it analyzes which problems students consider as urgency, how they evaluate the living conditions in Most and what is their relationship to the city. The Thesis is supported by own SAQ survey conducted on a sample of approximately 600 students from different types of schools that provides answers to most of the research questions. Given that the Romany question intensively rezonates between young denizens of Most, the survey has been extended to gypsies living in one of Most's Romany localities - well-known settlement Chanov. This enabled the comparison of respondents' opinions (mostly from the rank of the majority) with views of young gypsies. Social advertising opportunities in the practice of the Czech social work

The diploma thesis "Social advertising opportunities in the practice of the Czech social work" is devoted to the relatively new advertising genre for our society- the social advertising, and how social workers can now use this type of advertising in their activities. The thesis defines the concept of public service advertising, describes the history of its origin and the level of development in some countries, and also by whom and for what purposes it is mainly used. The author aims to answer the question whether PSA can be considered as one of the tools of the social work, which gives us an opportunity to draw public attention to the existing social problems, find ways to solve these problems and prevent the occurrence of new pathological phenomena. The diploma thesis also focuses on social marketing, which is closely related to social advertising and should be used for the success of any social campaign, as well as on new trends in the activities of commercial organizations. The Problems of Contemporary Society in Movies of Kurosawa Kiyoshi

This Bc. thesis focuses on contemporary cinema work of Kurosawa Kiyoshi (born 1955), in which we may discern themes concerning social issues, especially identity loss, alienation, inability of communication etc. It dwells in the interpretation of five films (Kyua, Ōinaru Gen'ei, Karisuma, Kairo, Tōkyō Sonata), which were made within 1997 and 2008, and attempts at clarification of these problems on the basis of the artworks. Apart from this, the work describes Kurosawa's work in relation to specific genres and evaluates his film career.
Dimensions of the problem indebtedness of the populatin in the Czech Republic after 2000

My bachelor thesis deals with the explanation of basic terms related to the debt issue. Among the basic concepts which the work is engaged, eg. Financial literacy, usury, execution, poverty, etc. in my bachelor work closely learn about with the causes of debt, debt prevention and consequences of debt. This work also deals with social work with debtors and introduces us to a debt-vulnerable group of people. The thesis analyzes the problem of indebtedness of the population in the Czech Republic after 2000. The problem is elaborated after 2000 because of the increase in non-financial institutions in the market in the Czech Republic, which brought negative economic and social problems which are mutually intertwined.
