Prevention of juvenile crime at middle schools

This thesis deals with the problem of the implementation of the crime prevention at the primary schools in the Czech Republic. The main objective was to evaluate the application of the crime prevention programs as viewed by the pedagogues from the selected primary school and to find the main insufficiencies and the room for improvements, especially in the implementation of the crime prevention programs area. This Thesis is divided into the two main parts. The theoretical and factual basis are presented in the first part. The theoretical basis collects the opinions of the experts from the given area and helps to define basic terms, concepts and theoretical scopes, with which this thesis further deals. The main theoretical basis of this thesis is the implementation of the state crime prevention through the street-level bureaucrats (employees of the school as the most direct executioners of the state crime prevention). The factual basis comes out from the research of the public legislative and structural basis for the crime prevention at schools in the Czech Republic and thus, it puts the problem into the reality of the current state and demands of the Czech state prevention system. Cyberbullying at basic schools

This thesis focuses on the theme of cyberbullying at selected basic schools in the Czech Republic. The conceptual basis rests upon Lawrence Kohlberg theory of moral development and theory of social pathology. Through the desk research of the relevant Czech and international research, and through experts interviewing, the aims of the thesis are mainly exploratory, i.e. to explore the nowadays situation in (incl. effects and prevention/fighting of) cyberbullying at sample basic schools in the Czech Republic.
Sport as a Tool to fight against youth Crime and socio-patological Phenomena

This Bachelor thesis consider sport as a tool in prevence against criminality and other socio- pathological phenomenon of youth. During identifying of the problems, the expert-text analysis was used and it was focused on psychological and sociological effects of sport. Thus, positive contributions of sport during the formation of personality along with socialization of youth were found. These contributions leads to reduction of the criminality and others problems of youth. The problems of the applying sport as a tool against criminality were carried out also and the conditions which should be followed were established.
Socio-Pathological Phenomena at Secondary Vocational School and Their Possible Solution

This diploma work named Socio-Pathological Phenomena at Secondary Vocational School and Their Possible Solution deals, in its theoretical part, with the basic terminology related with this topic. It also focuses on the risk behaviour among today's young people, and briefly introduces socio-pathological phenomena which occured at the surveyed secondary school in the last two years. It also describes other kinds of contemporary risk behaviour among young generation. At the end of theoretical part, there are introduced some of the current trends in school prevention and solution of socio-pathological phenomena. Period of adolescence is of course closely associated with this topic. It's called critical stage, and all the students pass this period during their secondary school attendance. That's why the chapter devoted to adolescence is elaborated in full details. Gender differences concerning appearance and intensity of socio-pathological phenomena are also mentioned here. Next, there is explained the system of primary prevention in The Czech Republic, the importace of family and school background, the impact of peers on personality development. Prevention of social pathologies in elementary school

The diploma thesis 'Prevention of the socio-pathological phenomena at the primary school' deals with these issues, putting the emphasis on the theoretical basis. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The basic concepts and the particular socio-pathological phenomena are defined in the theoretical part. Furthermore there are possible causes of formation of these phenomena or precaution in the theoretical part. The main concern of the practical part is the case study of the Gymnasium in Prachatice, its part includes a questionnaire survey intended not only for the pupils but also for the teachers.
Bulling as a socio-pathological phenomenom in elementary schools

The bachelor work deals with the problem of bullying as a socio-pathological phenomenom in elementary schools. The theoretical part of the bachelor work deals with aggression and aggressiveness as a basic element of bullying, it defines the term bullying and explain the origin of the word from the perspective of different authors. At the same time there are described developmental stage of bullying, types and forms of bullying and its prevention options. The conclusion of the theoretical part is aimed on laws and organizations dealing with problematic of bullying. The aim of the work is to map out experience that pupils from the second and fourth grade at elementary school have with bullying, where bullying occurs the most and how pupils are harmed. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. For quantitative research there were chosen two schools, one school is located in a village and the other in a city. The practical part is composed of investigative research that was conducted at two elementary schools and attended by 100 respondents. The results of the research are graphically represented and evaluated.
Current social pathology and its image in the work of E. Durkheim

The aim of this paper is to acquaint the reader with the problems of socially pathological phenomena and theoretical approaches to the study of the phenomena. This is mainly theoretical content of the text. In the practical part, the author attempts to challenge social pathology to look somewhat less typical optics. Reveals a possible link between socio-pathological manifestations and forms of contemporary work . Émile Durkheim, respectively work in which the issues of their time engaged , the writer served as an imaginary point that both the mouth of the introductory chapter the practical part, which is also a kind of springboard for subsequent chronological shift toward the presence and characteristics of work that are typical of the current organized form . The aim of the author is also to point out the still current Durkheim reflection on the relationship between certain types of work and socio-pathological phenomena . The author of the text places significant emphasis on the historical and economic context of the transformation of work and trying to also capture the essential features of the thinking was typical of the period in which E. Durkheim formed. Much of the space is devoted to contemporary neoliberalism or phenomena associated with postmodernism, their relationship and access to socio- pathological phenomena.
Social pathology from the perspective of socially excluded Roma

The submitted diploma thesis has been focused on the chosen socio-pathological phenomena in terms of socially excluded Roma adolescents. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part there I clarify first of all concepts as a social standard, a deviation and its basic theories, a culture of the poverty, I also deal with a delinquent and criminal behaviour in a context of the ethnicity, further I describe a social pathology in the Roma minority, a social exclusion of the Roma ethnic group including issues of social-excluded localities and in the end of the theoretical part I deal with an explanation of the concept Romany or the Roman ethnic group. An aim of the diploma thesis is to identify how Roma adolescent men and women living in social excluded localities perceive the social pathology. Because of the objectives and particularity of the research sample as well as the research investigation, I chose a qualitative research, a method of an interview and a technique of a half-standardized dialogue with open questions. The target sample includes 14 respondents aged 13 to 20 years. I addressed respondents in two socially excluded localities as follows: ? a dormitory of defaulters ? a dormitory of the housing estate type The result of the thesis is a recognition which phenomena are perceived by the social excluded Roma adolescents as pathological ones and which are their standard and whether they represent a factual standard for them or in what extent they have a personal experience with them.
