Why nobody wants anything from me.

The work focuses on subjective experience in urban, public environments. I use the principle of material and non-material exchange as a device to establishing communication, sharing my own thoughts and experiences with strangers who want something from me. I create a sound work from open and immediate communication with others. The primary intention was to relativize subjective, diary notes and notes by letting them read on the street by people who approached me and said they wanted me to do something. Reflections and experiences of respondents were added to the text. All readings were recorded in the form of audio recording, which is further post-produced.
Working time in healthcare

This master thesis deals with working time in healthcare. It's main goal is to describe current options of its organisation in Czech Republic as well as the most usual problems the parties of an employment relationship need to deal with. It aims to examine applicable legislation and to find out how the practical use corresponds with legal terms and conditions. This thesis is divided into several parts. In the first of them I focus on analysis of a term worker in healthcare, because there are many workers not only doctors or nurses, who can be included into this group. The next part is devoted to some key terms of Labour Code. These are working time, its scheduling and shift. It examines them in the context of czech legislation as well as european and judicature of ECJ. It also provides us with a deeper look into austrian legislation and tries to find some way how to change some czech provisions in order to correspond better to practical need. Main part of this thesis deals with the most common schedules of work in healtcare. These are one-shift pattern of work and continuos pattern of work. Back to the future. Etnographic research of Local Exchange Trading System in Toulouse

The present diploma thesis deals with the phenomenon of Local Exchange Trading Systems (LETS). Using the method of ethnographic research, the author sought a holistic description during her six-month participation in a LETS group in Toulouse. Drawing upon theoretical literature, she discusses the local forms of exchange, debt, the relationship to money and to the virtual currency. The findings show that such a system can change the perception of debt and the relation to money. The most common reasons for involvement are the need to establish social contacts, while the most pressing problem appears to be the lack of interest of young people in this phenomenon. Support for Planning and Organizing of a Festival

The goal of this thesis is to design and implement an interface of a module for Drupal (content management system). The design is mostly created according to introduced principles of the community, thus there is a need to use some data from other parts of the system. The module is going to help to organizators of the festival with the shifts creation and management. The user interface is created with emphasis on fine usability on mobile devices.

Bacelor thesis analysis medial reflection of Václav Havel in czech press in the time of "November 1989". Analysis is focus on changes in presentation of disident and "persona non grata" on medial scene, that changed in very short time to public leader and then president od Czechoslovakia. Thesis first introduces czechoslovak press in specific time of social change, and then analysis, how this change influenced presentation of Václav Havel. For analysis vere chosen influential czech daily papers, that covered whole spectra of opinions on Václav Havel. Medial contents were primarily analysis qualitatively, separated on timelines, to recognition developing tendencies. Then contens of these media was compared in quantitative study, that has analyses differences in relationships to Václav Havel in dependence on events of "November 1989". Thesis acknowlidges same known facts about medial presentation on Václav Havel, but in other parts it openes a new themes and questions, that has not been so much explored to this times. For example ambivalent relationship of daily paper Mladá fronta.

The first part of this thesis is a translation of the Preface, the Preamble, the first 15 Laws and Appendices A and B from The Laws of Cricket. The aim of this translation is that it will be used by Czech speakers while playing cricket in the Czech Republic or elsewhere. Cricket in the Czech Republic is not a widespread sport and thus several new Czech terms had to be created. The second part analyzes extratextual and intratextual factors of the original text according to Christiane Nord, describes the main translation problems and their solutions, shows the translation method and lists shifts which occurred in the translation.
Power of the stickers - Ethnography research at the first class

in English The bachelor's thesis is focused on the phenomenon of stickers for children at the first class of the primary school. Its aim is the description and the explanation of the sense of their collection, grouping and exchange. The thesis is conceptualized like an ethnographical study at the school background. It is based on the methods of qualitative research. Data was collected using participant observation, interviews with focus group, analysis of documents and diary of research worker. Then it was qualitatively analysed and interpreted in relation to the relevant literature. The text of work is divided in two parts - the theory and the research. The theoretical part is coming out from sphere of psychology and also social and cultural anthopology, sociology, philosphy nad cultural history. The practical part presents results of the research. The aim of study is to enable better insight into the problematics of stickers, especially their influence on relations between children and self-concept of pupil at the first class. It describes and analyses in detail of principles of classifications and exchanging. The thesis shows what is the power of stickers to create individual and his surroundings.

The thesis entitled "Barter (selected problems)" introduces barter clubs/LETS as an alternative economy. The thesis describes historical development of barter clubs/LETS, theoretically analyzes the barter clubs/LETS as full-fledged payment systems standing on an equal footing as any other form of market organization. Project of the thesis also includes results of a survey which approached individuals as well as legal entities operating in the Czech Republic.
