Title: Traumatic consequences of pedestrian-tram interaction and specifics in the case of child-pedestrians Objectives: The aim of the paper is to analyze the issue of pedestrian-tram traffic accidents in respect of injury consequences, based on available literary sources in accordance with the selection criteria. Special attention is paid to where such accidents involve children. The work is part of the grant ANALYSIS OF ACCIDENT EVENTS CHODEC TRAMVAJ. It aims to evaluate the occurrence, type and nature of injuries where collisions have taken place between pedestrians and trams. Methods: The thesis is produced on the basis of literary research. Due to the breadth of the interdisciplinary nature of the issue, literary sources were searched in the NCBI, Sciencedirect, Springerlink, Researchgate, PubMed databases. The first part of the thesis contains a theoretical introduction to the issue of tram transport and the definition of basic concepts, injuries of individual parts of the locomotor system and accident mechanisms in terms of biomechanics. The second part has a descriptive-analytical nature and contains an analysis of individual studies that deal with the health of a pedestrian/child accident, in relation to a tram. Overview Of Approaches To Multisensor Fusion As Used In Adas And Av

This paper briefly summarises the state-of-the-art in the field of approaches to heterogeneous multisensory fusion as in use in autonomous vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). It first describes the basic perception principles, goes over the used sensors and their properties. Various approaches to sensor fusion are then explained with particular focus on their effects on road traffic safety. Conclusions suggest the most perspective approaches and possible improvements.
Transport analysis and proposal of solution in Šlapanice

This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis and solution of selected transport modes of the town of Šlapanice in the South Moravian Region. This work contains an analysis of transport modes, especially for road transport, parking and cycling and proposes their optimization to increase safety, fluidity or comfort for residents. The first part describes the current state of road, rail, public and bicycle transport. In the second part, the work focuses on road transport, evaluated in terms of traffic safety and compliance with legislative requirements with a proposed solution. Furthermore this work solve parking, when the town of Šlapanice was divided into functional zones according to use and shortcomings were found in selected localities with stating the proposed solution. In the last part, the cycle routes are solved, their shortcomings are found and solutions are given.
Analysis of traffic education teaching 5th grades in selected primary schools in Prague

Title: Analysis of traffic education teaching 5th grades in selected primary schools in Prague Objectives: The main aim of this thesis was to explore and compare the knowledge of traffic education for pupils who have completed 4th year of primary school who used to teach traffic playground compared to students who do not receive instruction in the transport field. Methods: The research group has a total of 111 fifth grade students from four schools in Prague. The method for obtaining data used questionnaires to evaluate it using Excel. Results: The results highlighted in the testing of hypotheses on the conformity of success responses of the two test files of students who received instruction on traffic playground and students who did not pass the teaching. The absolute values of the survey results (its parts) shows a slight increase in the success of students using the transport field. The competency of municipal police related to road safety This thesis deals with the competency of municipal police focused only on the issue of road safety surveillance. The main purpose of the study is to present basic orientation in particular authorizations to represent public law when enforcing road safety regulations. The study is composed of three main chapters devided in relevant subchapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of the administrative law. The first chapter briefly describes the origins of enacting the municipal police as a municipal body, pointing out the past difficulties, followed by the summary of the law regulation establishing the municipal police and controlling its activities by the municipal self-government. It also defines the municipal police as a part of the administrative law. In the main second chapter the single competencies are described, divided into subchapters by its source according to the Municipal police Act and the Road traffic Act. The permition to control speeding and testing the drunk drivers are most widely described, followed by the issue of towing vehicles. Role of nurse in childhood injuries prevention

The theoretical part of this study is devoted firstly to the definition and conception of injury, which is further classified in accordance with intention, mechanism, place of origin type of accident and the location of the injury on the body. The section on injury prevention describes how to prevent injuries at the primary level (prevent the origin of injury), at the secondary level (reducing consequences) and at a tertiary level ( to minimize the aftereffects of injury). It also shows that the fall in the number of childhood injuries is insufficient in comparison with the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and some Scandinavian countries where Sweden and Finland achieves the best results in injury prevention. The study also describes what is done for prevention of injuries (preventive inspection, dispensary inspection and treatement of injuries). Problems are described from the first preventive examination of a new- born child, followed by preventive examinations throughout the suckling age, the toddler age, the preschool age, the younger school age, the senior/sophomore school age until adolescence /teenagers. Driving while intoxicated among students in Czech Republic

The first main part is devoted to alcohol itself, its detailed description, development, its effects on the body. Further, I will deal with alcohol and residual strength measurements at the roadside. With this theme also relates to the safety of our roads, campaigns against drinking and driving, as well as various statistics of accidents under the influence compared with other countries. The practical part will discuss the connection between education and driving under the influence of alcohol. Evaluating whether the educational level and age of drivers associated with driving under the influence of alcohol. We describe the attitudes of students to the problem of driving under the influence of alcohol. Research is conducted through anonymous questionnaires from a sample of fifty students from the fourth year of vocational school and fifty students from the first year of college. The result of the work will be summarized results will be evaluated and demonstrated a comprehensive overview of this issue. Design of public lighting for the improvement of road safety

This paper is focused on quality assessment of public lighting systems. These systems are compared to the standard requirements of road lighting rules. Inconvenient systems are redesign with help of lighting design software DIALux in order to fulfill these rules. Part of this paper is dedicated to other issues like pedestrian crossings, color effect and economy.

When analyzing the technical condition of the trucks went from technical requirements that are listed in the text and are taken from various provisions concerning the approval of vehicles of categories M2, M3, N2, N3, O3, O4 listed in EHK and the European Directives in force on the date of issue . The main part of the work consists of technical transcripts together with the methodology and practical experience in the field of diagnostics road vehicles, from which I had come to create this work. It deals with the control of the individual systems, components and separate technical units for vehicles that are listed in the log in section 10 letter a) and 1) Annex I - Directive 2010/30/ES. At the follow-up of newly issued laws and regulations in the coming years.

The theme of this master’s thesis is The Issue of the Competence of Drivers of Motor Vehicles to Drive on the Roads of the Czech Republic. It includes an analysis of the current state legislative requirements for obtaining professional qualifications of drivers, health qualification and improves their professional competence for the purposes of professional competence and analysis of selected specific road safety. In light of the findings was performed the analysis of traffic accidents in the Czech Republic. Based on the analysis of traffic accidents was the practical part of a questionnaire survey and proposals aimed at improving safety on the roads.
