Applying coaching practice management kindergartens under one founder

This thesis is devoted to coaching, which is a relatively new trend in the field of people leadership, explaining what the experiences with this tool of development are in the current practice in kindergartens management. The theoretical part summarizes the findings from the literature depicting the topic of coaching in different contexts - dealing with the issue of human resource management and changes in manager's approach to the performance management. The practical part presents results of a questionnaire-based research for a broader look at the issue and the results of the qualitative approach implemented through structured interviews, life-history method and document analysis. This thesis introduces us to the areas in which the coaching method was successful in employee's development in a professional or personal level, as well as in development of the director, the whole team and the organization. 1 ABSTRACT The aim of the diploma thesis is to make research on of how leadership influence the motivation of employees in the environment of the organization XY. The thesis will try to highlight the two main areas, which are the concepts of leadership and motivation, that are often forgotten to be reopened and revise after the establishment of organizations. The theoretical part will deal with motivation and other areas related to it, when it is most often related to performance. The following chapter about leadership will have a more extensive and detailed view compared to the first one, when outside the approaches we will focus on the essence of leadership work embedded partly in the organization XY and explain the difficult situations that most often occur in the lives of managers. The main purpose of the thesis will be in the empirical part to conduct qualitative research through semi-structured interviews in selected organization XY with managers and their individual members, which are employees of the organization XY. The interviews will focus on key areas based on the knowledge of the theoretical part. The aim of my bachelor thesis is to make a proposal how a manager should develop himself, what abilities are necessary to emphasise and what the key features of the right manager are. The theoretical part deals with the manager issues and manager development. It solves and tries to answer the question how the manager should develop himself and what he should do for his personal development. The result of this thesis is my own proposal and recommendation for a young ambitious manager. This proposal has been based on the combination of qualitative and quantitative research.

The bachelor thesis deals with the personal and professional competencies of manager. Its aim is to analyse and compare the personality types of students studying at management specialized faculties of three different universities, using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. The theoretical part contains an overview of the theoretical knowledge of experts dealing with management, manager competencies, emotional intelligence and the personality of manager. The practical part deals with the use of knowledge of the theoretical part. These are used to prove and review the aims of this thesis. The conclusion summaries the results of the study including its limitations and recommendations for the future.

Bachelor's thesis is composed of two parts. The first one is the theoretical, which is dedicated mainly to the basics of management, the definition of a manager and his personality, roles, functions and skills. Addresses the relations and attitudes of the manager towards the employees and the possibilities of the management and leadership of subordinates, but also possible errors which the manager can commit. The second part is practical and will be based on the theory in the first part. This section characterizes the manager and his company. Further deals with the process of making the questionnaire, it presents the results found by questionnaire and proposes the improvement of the identified deficiencies.
