Presidential office after the accession of Klement Gottwald

The aim of this thesis is to introduce all changes, that occurred in the Presidential office since February 1948 until the death of Klement Gottwald. After the short introduction, which gives us insight into the so called the Foundation period of Communism and into the life of Klement Gottwald and his wife Marta, follows the opening chapter about the situation in the Presidential office after the February 1948. It introduces two great topics, which would be examined in the next chapters - staff question and organization of the office. The thesis is closed by the chapter about the role of the Prague castle and Gottwald himself in 1948-1953. Books about this era describe mostly the general characteristics of the period and of Klement Gottwald himself. They are not paying attention to the Presidential office. Only one of the persecuted employees wrote a biography - Miroslav Jirásek. I used mostly the books of Karel Kaplan. The memoirs of Ladislav Novák (chancellor of Antonín Zápotocký, Antonín Novotný and Ludvík Svoboda) were very useful for the description of the situation after the death of Klement Gottwald. The aim of this thesis is to deal with the notice of termination due to organizational reasons under Section 52(a) through (c) of the Labour code. The topic of the thesis does not consist only in organizational changes and a notice of termination linked to them, its purpose is to describe the whole picture of the process of giving the notice to an employee and details which an employer must remember to keep the notice valid. The thesis is composed of ten chapters not counting the Introduction describing the motive for choosing the topic of the thesis and the aims of the thesis and the Conclusion containing the brief evaluation of the legal regulation. Chapter One deals with the labour-law relations, their concept and the distinctions between the individual labour-law relations and the collective labour-law relations. Chapter Two is concerned with the termination of employment in general and describes the division of the ways in which employment may be terminated, i.e. legal acts, legal events or authoritative decisions. Chapter Three elaborates the issues common to all reasons for the notice, which means that the attention is paid to these reasons, the written form of notice, delivering and the withdrawal of the notice and the participation of trade unions in a termination of employment. Evaluation of Organizational Culture in Business Ethics Correlation

The subject of this Master's Thesis is organizational culture and its correspondence with organizational changes. The work defines the most basic terms concerning organizational culture - the components, types, functions and diagnostic methods of organizational culture; further it explaines the term of BPO and its characteristics. To analyse the present state of the organizational culture, written question form and personal interviews were used. The main target for the Master's Thesis is to suggest a solution of conflicts between the culture and changes being prepared. This will also contribute to improvement of organizational culture and efectivity of the whole department.
Dismissals of employees for organizational changes

The thesis deals with the dismissals of employees for organizational changes. This area of laubor law become very important in connection with the economic crisis beginning in the year of 2008. The main goal of this thesis therefore is, using various methods of law interpretation and relevant judicature, to find the content of very brief law regulation of artical 52 letter a) to c) Labour code. Finding that, the thesis could be used by the public as a manual for solving unclear law questions. The secondary aim of this disertation is to propose reasonable changes into the law regulation of dismissals of employees for organizational changes.
How Changes Management Allows to Contain Risk and to Achieve Goals While an ERP Implementation Within a Company in Multicultural and International Context ?

Since the invention of the first computer in 1937 by John Vincent Atanasoff and Clifford Berry the process of computerisation within companies is still increasing. Nowadays, the Enterprise Resource Planning software can be seen as one of the most used software in the world. In the 1990s the price of a stock option could increase just with the public announcement of an ERP implementation within the company. It was generally synonym of rigor, data traceability, and control and best practice integration. However, in 2015 through various case studies, observations and records, we can claim that this kind of software cause a lot of changes such as organizational changes, employee's tasks changes or business practices. This paper will explain the role of Change Management during an ERP implementation project. We will analyse the importance of this management area in this kind of project and we will observe that change management has to be taken into account in order to reach objectives and containing goals. In order to illustrate this idea, we will compare two different companies. First the report of the ERP implementation will be done for the French firm EVERIAL. It summarizes 15 months of personal observations within this project where I worked as Key User implementing SAGE X3 ERP for the Purchase module April 2013 to July 2014. Then the second company is described from a case study. It is a Chinese company with Chinese business culture, which succeed first with a home custom designed ERP implementation. However it failed to implement Western ERP called SAP R3. From both EVERIAL and the Chinese company we will analyse the importance of Change Management during the implementation step. Moreover, an analysis of business culture in this kind of project will be done in order to emphasis the role of change management when Western best practices are implemented in Asian Company with a strong local culture.

Analysis of job satisfaction in the company Alpha

Diploma thesis provides an analysis of job satisfaction in a selected company. The main goal is to monitor employees' job satisfaction in terms of all levels of management with emphasis on issues of organizational change. Possible factors of dissatisfaction should result as a by-product from the analysis. Among the methods of investigation I applied questionnaire, workshop and interview with HR manager. In conclusion, the results of each method are summarized and according to the findings of dissatisfaction I suggested measures to improve the current situation in the company.
