This diploma thesis "Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) as a Stakeholders of the Integration Policy in Relation to the Foreigners" discsusses the Czech integration policy and the role of these organizations in the process of formation and implementation of this policy. It provides basic insight into the integration policy and process of its making, focuses on the role of individual stakeholders in this process, examines the relationships between the concerned stakeholders and focuses on problem areas connected with the theme of this thesis. This thesis is based both on information obtained from available sources (legislation, strategies, researches, etc.) and the views and opinions of representatives of the nonprofit sector and employees of the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic, which were formed on the grounds of their experience. The process of integration of foreigners is closely related to the phenomenon of migration, which has been an integral part of the life of all societies in different periods of time. The Status of Non-governmental Organizations in International Law Abstract Non-governmental Organizations and particularly International Non-governmental Organizations are important players in international relations as well as other stakeholders like States, International Governmental Organizations and Multinational Corporations. Each of these actors has a unique role in international relations, with different impacts into the international law. This thesis has mapped international NGOs in detail, from the beginning of their origin to the present. NGOs were divided and classified according to several selected criteria and finally, the definition of NGOs was made. In the next part of the work, has been identified a group of non-governmental organizations sui generis. Although they are non-governmental organizations, enjoy international legal subjectivity. This thesis dealt with elements of the sociological method, so it dealt much more with the facts why the document was created in such a form and how it is actually fulfilled, rather than what is the content of the document itself and how it should be interpreted. The Right to Information and the Public Participation in the Environmental Matters

Presented dissertation is devoted to the participation of lay element in the environmental matters within the public administration. In these matters it is necessary to find the compromises that should reflect the private plans (of investors and the owners), exercising of the public participation and the public interests too. The cooperation among the administrative authorities, public subjects and private subjects shall be constructive, based on a real legal ground. The target of this thesis is to make an overview of the ways that Czech legal system (based on the international and European law) gives to the public in order to participate on the public administrative in the environmental matters. The important finding of the thesis is evaluation of efficiency of partial tools and also of risks connected with their application. The main terms, motives, preconditions and the importance of public participation in the environmental matters are defined in the introduction. Services for clients in conflict with the law in the context of the changed system of providing addiction treatment

Background: Care for addictological clients that have a conflict with the law has been provided by non-governmental organizations with this specialization for many years. From 2018, the prison service has begun to expand services for addictological clients with new jobs for civilian staff, for prison addictologists. The possibilities of addiction treatment in prison are becoming more diverse. The question is how the already established system of treatments is prepared for these changes from the point of view of employees of non-profit organizations. Aim: The main goal of this research is to present addiction treatments in prison provided by employees of the prison staff and services for clients in conflict with the law, provided by employees of non-governmental non-profit organizations who come to prisons. The essence of the research lies in finding out how the established system of services for clients in conflict with the law responds to changes in the prison system due to the newly estabilished position of prison addictologists and whether there is a certain cooperation between them. The Status of Non-governmental Organizations in International Law Abstract Non-governmental Organizations and particularly International Non-governmental Organizations are important players in international relations as well as other stakeholders like States, International Governmental Organizations and Supranational Corporations. Each of these actors has a unique role in international relations, but the role of these actors can overlap each other. Where the interests of these entities overlap, the interaction between actors takes the place. The aim of this thesis was the historical evaluation of the status of International Non- governmental Organizations till the present, settle up with the theoretical basis of legal doctrine on international legal subjectivity and the classification and division of International Non-governmental Organizations. The readiness of the selected non-profit organizations on the territory of the district České Budějovice in the extraordinary event

The thesis deals with examining, if the non-governmental organizations are ready for extraordinary situations, specifically is focused on organizations, which are located in the area of České Budějovice region. The topic is actual, the reason being high frequency of those extraordinary situations in the south Bohemia and it is important to find out, if the help of volunteers is effective. For non-governmental organizations is specific that they are not managed by the government. Their activities try to substitute non-existing or poorly functioning services, which are provided by the government. Activities include realization of free time activities for children, helping socially weak, educational activities in many areas, protection of the environment or historical landmarks, helping disabled and elderly, humanitarian and development aid and many others. The objective of the thesis is to find out, how much are non-governmental ready to deal with extraordinary situations and how they engage in education to prepare population for dealing with extraordinary situations. In the thesis is used the method of information analysis, that meaning content analysis of information, where is specific gathered knowledge ordered on the basis of literature search. To fulfill set objective a semi-structured interview with employees of the chosen non-governmental organization was conducted. The results of the thesis will be offered to chosen non-governmental organizations, which participated in the research. These results could be used to increase quality of training of members of non-governmental organizations and volunteers.
Legal, social and criminogenic aspects of domestic violence

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to characterize legal, social and criminogenic aspects of domestic violence, to identify and predict the occurrence of domestic violence in the South Bohemian Region and to find accompanying unlawful acts of domestic violence. The secondary aim was to identify possible problems in application practice in the banishment and to suggest possible solutions.
Legal aspects of the trade in conflict diamonds

The objective of this diploma thesis is to explain trade in conflict diamonds and to assess international fight against this illegal trade. The primary objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of the current legislation (international and national level), for example by comparative analysis of the different legislation in selected countries. The aim of this thesis is also to identify the significant historical changes to the regulatory framework and to assess the Kimberley Process and the mechanisms in diamond trade. The aim is also to identify the role of nongovernmental organizations in the Kimberley Process (development of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme) or in the resolution of conflicts. This thesis consists of six chapters. The second chapter is dedicated to the general characteristics of diamonds and aspects of international diamond trade. The third chapter has an aim to describe conflict diamonds and conflicts financed by illegal diamond trade. The fourth and fifth chapter deals exclusively with fight against the trade in conflict diamonds. Conflict diamonds, or so called blood diamonds, are still a very serious global problem and each state should develop and implement the right legal measures in this area in order to substantially reduce this illegal trade.
The Political Consequences of Early 21st Century Changes in the Global Balance of Power: Scenarios for the Future

This thesis had the purpose to study the current international system. After presenting its features in theories, the aim was to understand how it is constructed through an analytical approach. In this thesis, it is supposed that the international system, and in particular its polarity, is currently facing some changes due to several reasons which are exposed. It will be identified the different actors of the international system which are susceptible to upset the polarity of this system. Nation-states, IGOs and MNCs will thus be described and presented, and their strength into the completion of such achievement will be identified. To conclude, the thesis will end with a last chapter dedicated to the construction of future scenario which will aim at forecasting the potential international system in which one will be evolving in the coming future.
