Metronome for the Android Mobile Device
Pomkla, František ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The purpose of this project is the implementation of metronome for smartphone with OS Android and smartwatch with OS Tizen. Both applications provide asynchronous functionality of metronome as well as data sharing  through Bluetooth connection. These metronome applications should help musicians in music bands. It allows to save specific song's tempo into playlists and than share them via Bluetooth connection with smartwatch application. The smartwatch application produces vibrations instead of click sound. Other smartphone metronome functionality is to scan drum stroke by internal device microphone and compare it with metronome beat. The programming languages C# and Java with SQLite databases were used for implementation.
Dataset Annotator for Neural Network Training
Schneider, Martin ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is design and implementation of a system for image data annotation which will learn neural networks. An important feature of this system is the iterative approach of learning, where the annotated set is extended by the neural network itself and users make corrections of these extensions. The system consists of an information system with an embedded annotation tool. Information system communicates with neural network management program. The information system is designed according to the MVC architectural model. The frontend of the application is built on JavaScript library - React and is designed according to Material Design conventions using the Material-UI framework. The frontend maintains a permanent connection to the Python backend using the WebSocket protocol, which is also used by the backend to communicate with the neural network management program. The NoSQL database system uses MongoDB technology.
Diagnostics Research Group Information System
Vaďura, Pavel ; Zachariášová, Marcela (referee) ; Čekan, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis discusses the design and implementation of an information system for a research group. The basic technologies for the creation of an information system such as PHP, PHP frameworks, MySQL and jQuery are described. Another part deals with the specification, analysis, design and implementation reflecting the requirements of the research group on the functionality of the information system.
Mobile App for Management and Reservation of Sports Lessons
Hynek, Tomáš ; Tomešek, Jan (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a mobile application for Android that will offer management for reservations of training lessons. There are two user roles in the application. The first one is coach who can offer his lessons to other users. Users then can book this lesson right from the application. Coach can also manage all of his lessons and see his reservations in calendar. The second type of user is an athlete who can search for training lessons by name or place distance and then he can book them. The name of the application is Fittyy and it complies with Material Design rules. It uses advanced technologies like Android Jetpack to store local data, implement MVVM model or process server requests in the background. Communication between coach and athlete was implemented using CMS system made by Dactyl Group s.r.o.
Mobile Application for Gyms
Hynek, Tomáš ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to develop a mobile application for Android that allows you to build a training plan and record completed exercises. This thesis is aimed at beginners or advanced exercisers from Czech Republic. The result is a mobile app that motivates exercisers to exercise regularly and record their activities. Among other things, app allows the user to view more than 100 exercises accompanied by images and procedure description.
(MATERIAL) – CONSCIOUS DESIGN
Filípková, Valentýna ; Václavková, Maria Nina (referee) ; Tobola, Ondřej (advisor)
The online platform consciousdesign.cz, created as the output of the thesis, provides sources for possible conscious approaches to design. It consists of a database of innovative materials, research texts, related links and interviews with designers, material specialists, scientists and technologists. The website can serve as a starting point for students and designers who are interested in current possibilities and new ways leading to design that is responsible to nature and humans.
Chcu víno! - Mobile App for Communication of a Customer with a Wine Maker
Adamec, Martin ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a mobile application for Android that will connect small wineries with their customers. The result is two applications, the first of which is for wineries and the second one for customers, who can search wineries by simple criteria, save them as favorites, make notes and much more. The applications respects Material Design rules. Google Firebase is used for work with data and Firebase Cloud Messaging handles notifications between devices.
Application for smart logging of the GPS position for Android OS device
Šťastný, Petr ; Zeman, Kryštof (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is create standalone service whitch should look for location, save history of locations and send actual location of user using Android OS device. Location should be send on-line. Saving is made by KML file witch this aplication generates.
UI for the Cooperation of a Surveillance System with a Human
Klem, Václav ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Bažout, David (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis discusses the topic of the design and development of an effective user interface for the cooperation of a user and a surveillance system. It offers a study of currently available tools for the annotation of videos and detection/tracking of people in these videos to create an annotation application intended for new way of detecting anomalies. This innovative way is based on detecting anomalies on the level of frames. Anomaly in this sense means any illegal behavior of people in a video. This thesis aims to create a proposition of UI design for the annotation application, confirm the validity of the concept and then implement the full-fledged version of this application based on the testing results. During the testing of the prototype, the annotation success rate of 89% and the rating of overall UI clarity of 83% respectively were reached. Following the results of the testing, the final version of the application was implemented reflecting the user feedback.
Application for Exam Preparation
Líbal, Tomáš ; Veigend, Petr (referee) ; Dytrych, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of preparation of final exams at the Faculty of Information Technology of Brno University of Technology. It describes the process of design and implementation of a web application that allows teachers to create and manage room schemes and terms of individual exams. An important part of the application is also the automatic placement of students in the rooms and the generation of individual exam assignments for printing based on the given template and the method of placement. The application provides students with a clear view of individual exam terms and details about them. The work will result in a functional and usable web application written in Java using the Spring and Angular frameworks.
