This thesis examines the process of filling vacancies in nonprofit organizations. The topic is dealt with by a case study of two specific benevolent societies providing social services. First I create a theoretical framework for the topic of filling vacancies, using scientific literature. Specifically, I focus on the analysis and description of jobs, methods of recruitment and selection of staff and adaptation of new employees. Subsequently, using methods of qualitative research strategy, I analyze my own data obtained for setting up a more efficient process of filling vacancies in the organization, which should contribute to the stabilization and development of the team. Simultaneously the outputs of my work are not just recommendations. Also specific documents were developed for the Personnel books (listed in Appendix), set a new system of adaptation process and part of the proposed changes have already been implemented and evaluated as fruitful. Human Resource Management System in a Chosen Organization

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze human resource management system in a chosen organization, summarize the results, evaluate them and then prupose changes that would contribute to improve the current state. Human resources are the most important resource an organization has and it is essential to treat them properly. The research was conducted by spreading out questionnaire survey, interviewing the members of personnel department, examinating internal regulations and observating the workplace and its conditions. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part summarizes the most important knowledge connected with human resource management. The practical part contains the basic characteristics of the chosen organization, the methodology of the research, analysis of the current state and the last part includes recommended improvements and conclusion.

Analysis of the workplace of the workshop teacher

This thesis focuses on the job analysis of the professional training teacher. The output is the job description. For the purpose of the research the group of respondents is narrowed down to the specialization Hairdresser. The first part is theoretical overview based on literature and relevant internet sources, it is focused on the explanation of basic terms related to the jobs analysis. The practical part describes the situation in schools and provides basic characteristics of respondents. The job analysis carried out through a questionnaire survey follows. Analysis result is a job description, the final version is completed by a direct interview with a supervisor of the examined position. The final job description should facilitate the tender for principals of schools, it can serve as a basis for the tender notice and subsequently facilitate the selection of a suitable candidate for the position of the professional education teacher. The candidates should get a better idea of the job, of what its purpose is and what the duties and responsibilities relating to it are. These descriptions considerably help labor office employees to mediate contacts between employers and job candidates.

The description of the work processes by the military firebrigade of the Czech Army

Problem solving: The base of solving problém is to assing a measure of knowledge of a military firemen at the military airport. I tis aim to liquidate an emergency situation chat depem on a flight schedule (posibility of equipment by ammunition, beginning of a fire of buildings in cooperation with an integrate emergency systém). It all of course means increasing risk during each intervention of the fire unit. Purpose of work: The aim of this work is to get a summary about daily routines military fire brigade at the airbase in the Army of the Czech Republic. This information will be gain with the time frame. Methods: The basic used method of the research will be analysis of the time frame, which will be obtained by observing. Result: The result of this bachelor work is to get a survey about all work activities and distribution this activities according to the importance for the responsibilities of the work of the fire man at the airbase in the Army of the Czech Republic. I would also like to identify which activity is the most important during the work shift. Analysis of the Head cook's job position at primary school

This work deals with analysis of Head cook's job position at primary school. Its aim is to map necessary qualification, knowledge and abilities in the field of professional and management competence. All the relevant information needed to describe the job and to specify demands on this job was gathered through the survey. At the same time the survey showed, which professional and management competence was preferred when filling the head position in school boarding. The results of the survey were used as a source to make an instruction how to describe the primary school head cook's job. This instruction is presented at the end of the work.

Objektive of the thesis: The objective of this study is to get an overview of soldiers activities of the reconnaissance platoon of HQ company of 41st mechanized battalion, located in Ţatec. To try to confirm or refute the results of my bachelor thesis, in which I found out, that soldier in reconnaissance position needs mainly endurance for his work. Methods: Main used method is the analysis time frame and creation of characteristics of the given possition in the AČR. I will conduct by standardized tests for testing of motor skills. Results: Think out tests, that best reflect the activities of soldiers of reconnaissance platoon and to determine their level of motor skills. Setting the limits of tests of physical training for selection of candidates for the reconnaissance platoon. Psychological testing in personnel psychology: competency-based selection of hospitality leaders

This thesis deals with one of the most debated topics of the Personnel Psychology - the personnel selection. The aim of the thesis is to provide an exhaustive overview of the designing process of the selection procedures with special attention being paid to the various methods of selecting employees. Attention was primarily paid to the effort that the knowledge of the otherwise common methods of selecting employees be put in the new framework and the latest ways of their application. Particular emphasis has been put upon the new approaches to the method of interview, cognitive abilities testing, detection of individual personality at work and new methods in designing assessment centers. An interesting chapter is the use of emotional factors as selection criteria and the application of the attachment theory to work. Considerable extent of the thesis is also devoted to the methods of job analysis and competency modeling, their comparison and applications. Based on the previous theoretical treatise the empirical part attempts at creating a competency model for senior executives in the hotel industry and proposes possible ways of its practical use.
