The development of fine motor and graphomotor skills in forest kindergartens
JANEČKOVÁ, Martina
Bachelor's thesis deals with the development of fine motor skills and graphomotor skills in the forest kindergartens from the perspective of people who work there. Based on the information provided and from personal experience, a "program" for the development of fine motor and graphomotor skills in the forest and outdoor environment is crated. The theoretical part includets chapters abou the history of forest kindergartens in our country and abroad, their operating conditions and philosophy. The child's motor development with a focus on fine motor skills and graphomotor skills is being discussed and examined with regards to the development of child's graphic expression, work habits, graphomotor exercises and the causes of graphomotor difficulties. The last chapter is examining the natural environment influences on child's development. Practical part is created from the research survey, it includes answered questions related to the aim of this work and a "program" for the development of fine motor and graphomotor skills in the forest and outdoor environment.
Use the MABC - 2 test battery to measure the level of motor in Men's Artistic Gymnastics
SLANINA, Ondřej
The bacherol thesis is focused on the testing and evaluation in motoric skills of sports gymnasts (n=14) aged between 8 to 13 years in gymnastic center Merkur České Budějovice. For this experiment was used the methody called "MABC-2 formula" (Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2nd edition), it consists of eight test items that are divided into three components. Individual components focus on testing fine motor skills (manual skill), gross motor skills (aiming and catching) and balance. After performing the MABC-2 test and obtaining gross scores for each item, we created tables and graphs of component and total test scores (TTS). The results we compared to the standardization norms this test battery. Based on this comparison, we evaluated the level of motoric skills of a observed group of sports gymnasts.

Author: Bc. Eliška Rotbartová Supervisor: Mgr. Kateřina Rybářová Title: The Inter-rater Reliability of the Nine Hole Peg Test in Patients with Multiple Sclerosis Abstract: Introduction: The Nine Hole Peg Test (NHPT) is used by occupational therapist as a standardized tool which evaluates fine motor skills and manual dexterity. The aim of this thesis was to establish the inter-rater reliability and variability of the results of the NHPT administered according to the Czech extended version of the manual in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Methods: 33 probands with MS (27 females, 6 males) were tested by NHPT. Video recordings taken during testing were analyzed by two independent raters. Pearson correlation coefficient was used for statistical data processing. Recording sheets from the testing were analyzed in order to determine invalidated trials for each subtest and reasons for the invalidation. Results: A very high positive correlation was established for inter-rater reliability (0,999902 to 0,999965) and variability of the results (0,999902 to 0,999965). The invalidation of trials was most frequent in the 2nd trial of the dominant hand (24.24% of 33 trials). The least frequent was in the 3rd trial of the non-dominant hand (6.06%). The most frequent reasons for invalidation of trials were:...
Creating a Video Manual of Proper Administration of the Purdue Pegboard Test According to the Czech Extended Version of the Manual for the Purdue Pegboard Test (PPT): Model 32020A

Title: Creating a Video Manual of Proper Administration of the Purdue Pegboard Test According to the Czech Extended Version of the Manual for the Purdue Pegboard Test (PPT): Model 32020A Abstract: A common consequence of a stroke is a fine motor skills dysfunction. The widely used Purdue Pegboard Test (PPT) measures the dexterity of the fingers of each hand separately or both together. The tested subject should insert as many components as possible into the holes in the test board during five time-limited subtests exactly according to the instructions written in the manual. In the Czech Republic, various working versions of the translation of the manual have been used so far, containing verbal instructions necessary for the administration of the test. In October 2021, the Czech Extended Version Manual for Purdue Pegboard Test (PPT): Model 32020A was published. In addition, it contains new rules for solving and evaluating situations (e.g. falling of a peg on the ground, changing hands during making assemblies), which therapists have not yet dealt with uniformly. Audio recordings of verbal instructions are also available to facilitate PPT correct administration. The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to create a videomanual of proper PPT administration according to the already mentioned new version of the...
Special Educational Intervention in Children with Specific Language Impairment in the Kindergarten
Vávrová, Miriam ; Klenková, Jiřina (advisor) ; Zemková, Jaroslava (referee)
This Masters thesis focuses on issues of Specific Language Impairment - SLI of children of pre-school age. It monitors and evaluates development of their communication and motor skills during their time in kindergarten. The theoretical part focuses on defining basic terms which relate to communication and communication disorder with the emphasis on SLI. The psychomotor and communicational development of child from birth to entering school is described too. Also how this all affected creating the Framework Educational Programme for preschool education. The aim of the empirical part was to observe four children with SLI during their attendance at a pre-school for children with specific needs. Speech and psychomotor development of these children and its changes in connection to their teachers' intervention was observed. Part of the research included interviews with children's parents and those are also evaluated. The survey was done by the qualitative method. We get four case histories. At the end was evaluated the aims of the survey and answered questions asked and summarized the results of my investigation.
Objectification of disorders fine motor skills of the upper extremities in patients with hereditary neuropathies
Nývltová, Marcela ; Kobesová, Alena (advisor) ; Kraus, Josef (referee)
In the first part of the thesis Objectification of disorders of the fine motor skills of the upper extremities in the patients with hereditary neuropathies there are mentioned some brief informations about characteristics, classifications, clinical symptoms, deformities and testing of upper extremities, rehabilitation and treatment of CMT neuropathy. The practical part of this thesis is concerned with testing and evaluating of strength, fine motor skills and sensation of the upper extremities in the patients with CMT. For the measurement of the hand strenght the dynamometry and the functional muscle test are used. The Jebsen-Taylor test, the Nine-Hole Peg Test and the examination of static and dynamic handgrip rating are used. For the examination of the sensation the Nottingham Sensory Assessment is used. CMT neuropathy score and Overall Neuropathy Disability Scaleare are used for the classification of disability. The aim of this thesis is the comparison of the muscle strength and the function of the dominant and non-dominant hand. Partial aim of thesis is detection of the correlations between tests. According to the results CMT disease leads to the muscle strenght weakness and to worsening of the fine motor skills mainly of the dominant upper extremity. This may be the result of overwork weakness. For...
