Impact of the Financial Crisis on the TV Market in the Czech Republic

Thesis called Impact of the Economic Crisis on the Television Market in the Czech Republic combines two main topics: current economic crisis and TV market in the Czech Republic. TV market is closely connected with the television advertising market. This thesis try to answer the question whether and how the economic crisis affected the amount of funds invested in television advertising and how changes in the television advertising market were reflected in the financial results of TV stations. To evaluate the financial situation of television companies was used the financial analysis. Development of the volume of investment in television advertising and television advertising prices were examined through data and information from the research agencies. The thesis also examines the consequences for the viewer, ie whether the economic crisis reflected in changing broadcasting schedule and whether these changes subsequently affect viewership of TV. To determine this information is used quantitative analysis of the television program within defined period. Viewership of television companies surveyed is evaluated on the basis of data research agencies (especially Association of TV Organisations). Fiscal Federalism in Spain in History and Nowadays

The purpose of my thesis is to analyse the tools and consequences of the fiscal federalism in Spain. Decentralization process has started along with democratization since passing new Constitution in 1978. It has been mainly reaction to cultural, historical and political reasons of creation of Autonomous Communities. Economic crisis stroke the Spanish economy very strongly and has been a challenge for the whole financing model. Thus, the main aim of my thesis is to deal with the recent development of the financing model. Since Spain is a member of the European Union, I describe also tools of the fiscal federalism put forward by the European Union. Spain is considered to be one of the most decentralized countries in Europe. In my thesis I want to prove that further decentralization has been confirmed by reforms responding to the economic crisis. Then, I want to show that used tools of fiscal federalism are profitable for both state and autonomous communities and positively affect economy of Spain and that they has helped to deal with economic crisis. Finally, I want to show that Spain is getting closer to federal arrangement of government. This bachelor thesis deals with the circumstances behind the economic growth in Ireland. The thesis primarily focuses on the specifics of this process, tries to compare the growth from the Celtic Tiger period and the current economical situation. The thesis tries to analyze how Ireland handled economic problems from the end of the last century and problems caused by the impact of recent financial crisis. It especially focuses on the role of the government in the process of the economic resurgence. The thesis analyzes and compares particular steps of the Irish government during the crisis.

Influence of the American economic crisis of 2007 on Czech economy

This diploma thesis focuses on financial crisis from 2007 and its impact on Czech economy. Special attention is given to four macroeconomic indicators in Czech Republic and their transformation during this crisis and after it. First part focuses on definition and description of characteristics and stages of business cycles, first in general and then specifically when talking about 2007's economic crisis. Subsequent practical part analyses specific economic repercussions stemming from the crisis, pointedly in macroeconomic indicators, state budget and mortgage market. In the final part of this thesis, the knowledge and findings about these areas, which accurately depict overall status of Czech economy during the crisis and after it are evaluated and commented on. This thesis may be used by humanities' teachers to illustrate the functioning of business cycles and their impacts on economies. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to monitor and compare the development of foreign trade of Visegrad Group countries during the period of crisis (2007 - 2016). On the one hand, these economies have a lot of in common, on the other hand there are some important differences between them, which have the impact on the foreign trade - not all countries are of the same openness, and not all countries have their own national currency. Development of foreign trade is mon-itored via the analysis of the selected variables, which have form of a time-series. Empirical results prove, that while the impact of currency on trade showed to be not significant, the openness of economy played a significant role in the develop-ment of foreign trade during the period of crisis.

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of impact on the economic crisis from 2008 on tourism, focused on accommodation in the Czech republic. The basis for this analysis are data obtained from the Amadeus database. The theoretical part is related to the economic importance of tourism and the history of economic crises in the context to the 2008 crisis. In practical part is analysed the economic indicator of the effectiveness of INFA Spread. Graphical analysis is further complemented by correlation analysis, ANOVA analysis and trend analysis by LOESS. Finally, the results are summarized, compared and discussed with developments in times of crisis in European countries.

Spanish Government's Response to Immigration and Integration Policies During the Economic Crisis of 2008-2014

This bachelor thesis deals with the impact of the economic crisis on immigration policy in Spain in the years 2008-2015. The research focuses mainly in the reactions of Spanish fovernments in the filed of immigration and integration policy in response to the economic crisis of 2008-2014. The economic crisis marked the biggest downturn for both the global and Spanish economies since the crisis of the 1930's. The aim of the thesis is to prove that the economic crisis meant a change in the orientation of immigration and integration policy in Spain by analyzing the approach of individual Spanish governments in this period. The first two parts of the thesis are devoted to defining the basic concepts related to migration and the historical context of Spanish development in the field of migration. Furthermore, the work describes the development of the economic crisis in the world and in Spain and examines how foreigners located on Spanish territory were affected. The main part of the work is an analysis of the approach of government political parties of the People's Party and Socialists to immigration and integration during the economic crisis with regard to the adoption of measures and legislative changes.

The goal of my project is to figure out strengths and weaknesses of doing business in Russia and thus, overview economy of the country as a whole. Explore possible ways of development of the Russian Federation and conditions for healthy functioning of the economy. From my bachelor thesis I found out that doing business in Russia has improved over the recent years, but the economy still has a number of disadvantages and structural reforms are needed to overcome these problems and promote economic growth in the country

The impact of the economic crisis on the difference between the effective and statutory tax rate in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis on topic The impact of the economic crisis on the difference between the effective and statutory tax rate in the Czech Republic deals with the issue above the nominal and effective tax rates on corporate income during the economic crisis, specifically between years 2006 and 2015. The thesis deals with the causes of these differences between rates during each year of the crisis, and there is also comparison among the Czech Republic and European Union countries. First the work mentioned problems related to the last economic crisis, not only globally but also in terms of the Czech Republic. The following is a basic characteristic of the tax on corporate income, the share of total taxes over the years and the most important changes in the Law on Income Tax in the Czech Republic in individual years. In conclusion there is displayed the development of implicit and statutory tax rates and an analysis of the differences between these two rates.
